This place is incredible! So many honey options, and you can sample as many as you would like. Lots of products made from honey and bees wax as well. My favorites were their hot honey and honey for cheese. The best and most surprising part was the mead bar in the back. This was my first time having mead and I love it! It's like kombucha and cider had a baby. They have so many options on tap and bottles for purchase. The flight is the way to go, you get to try 6 different 4oz pours! The bartender was so friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable, I wish there was a tip option on the card check out screen, as we didn't have any cash on us for a cash tip. read more

Amazing place! This was our first visit to Greenville and have always loved honey. We entered the cutest shop and were kindly greeted by Brandon. My husband mentioned Mead and how we should try it. I had never heard of it and we don't have it back home in Kansas. Brandon over heard our conversation and encouraged us to do some tastings with Casey. I wandered into Savannah Bee looking for gift. The selection was LARGE! I decided I better have a flight to assist in my decision making process. The flight consisted of six small samples. At about $18, it was a little pricey. All of these samples dumped in one glass would not make a pint. However, I enjoyed the variety and ended purchasing three bottles. My first visit to the Savannah Bee Company was while I was at the Fall for Greenville festival. It's a nice and interesting place to visit. The people working are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have any and everything you can imagine to do with "the bee" and honey. They also have Tupelo Honey. Many different kinds of honey and honey products. Chap sticks, raw honey combs, bakery items, frozen treats, lotions, drinks and tee shirts just to name a few of the things they have. My niece treated me to a cold drink of limeade sweetened with honey. The drink wasn't overly sweet and it was so refreshing. There's a mead bar, a coffee bar with baked goods and several places to sample some of their products. The Tupelo honey with cheese and a raspberry was tasty too. Savannah Bee Company is a nice place to visit and spend some time. I plan on visiting again real soon. read more

They have an assortment of honey flavors (hot, lavender, chocolate, orange blossom, etc.) and it's no nonsense - no corn syrup or harmful preservatives. I love honey but now I love it more!! My sisters and I were walking off our brunch when we stumbled across this gem. We ended up sampling honey and doing a Mead Tasting. Everyone on the staff that we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Now back to the tasting, Casey/Kasey was the perfect person to introduce us to Mead Tasting. He was so helpful and engaged during our tasting we decided we have to go back. He is very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. A friend and me sat at the bar in back. He had the sample flight of mead drinks and I sampled three different. We both agreed they were delicious. Great place to buy local, unique honey. The whipped cinnamon honey is heavenly. Definitely worth checking out.
