The carport was delivered and installed yesterday and to square it there is 11" of the frame that is off of the concrete with 11" over on the other corner. He put footer pairs in to be able to secure the carport but because it's not square the footer pairs don't line up on 1 side. He was also supposed to come back and backfill the area around the pad that they dug out 3' bigger around the pad and was supposed to do a grade off the back side so it would be drivable off of it because it had a 6" drop off. He didn't come back and back fill or do the grade off the back. He requires payment when cement is poured not when job is complete. Thank goodness my husband has a tractor and he was able to backfill it without having to hire someone else to do it. Most homeowners don't own tractors!

Craig with Sam the Concrete Man is the real deal! He and his team are a real professional team, they know their craft and do their best to accommodate a customers needs and I appreciate that so much! Keep in mind that with any construction project there are many parts dependent on weather, condition of the area, environment impacts that can need changes or work arounds as during the project. They try to do their best to work with us to work around any issues that come up. Tip: Make sure to ask any questions ahead of time and throughout the project to understand the process.
