I hate writing bad reviews it's not something I enjoy doing especially when it means hurting someone's livelihood. To share my details of my experience I brought my laptop in for a broken display after having a pleasant conversation with the person at the front desk and him ensuring me that my laptop would be completed by the following Monday "brought it in on Saturday" I waited until today (May 9) to get my laptop due to them not touching it until I payed a non refundable $105 dollar deposit that was not mentioned prior in our conversation.After paying the bill the hit me with another invoice of $485! Almost half the price of the laptops worth for a part that I purchased online for $120. After declining repairs upon my arrival today I waited over an hour in the parking even though the door sign saying open and the website hours saying open eventually someone came to the door and I had to wait another 30 mins for them to put my laptop back together even though I called the day prior and them saying I could pick it up today. I understand things aren't always perfect but I believe this experience was one of the worst experiences I ever had with an IT company before and I highly recommend anybody to think twice about using this company. read more

I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews but this is a poor experience worth sharing. I contacted this business in regards to a laptop screen repair. To start, they do not provide any sort of price estimate upfront and charge a deposit to even inspect the item. Read the paperwork carefully because it apparently says the deposit is nonrefundable if you don't choose to go through with the service, however that is never explained. They kept my device for several days (after assuring me it would be a quick turnaround). They provided no sort of update when I called and did not respond to emails. I called five other local repair shops during this time and every single one provided me a price estimate either over the phone or via email. When I finally received the quote -- let me add that they sent an initial quote that was incorrect then sent another that was over $200 more... -- I chose not to go through with the service so they refused to refund my deposit. The store associate even went as far as to tell me that anyone who would give me a price over the phone was trying to "bait and switch" me?! Meanwhile nobody else has charged me a nonrefundable deposit while promising fast, responsive service that never happened. The irony. The owner himself reached out to me and said he would review the recorded calls to see if I was not informed about the nonrefundable deposit and if that was in fact the case he would refund it back to me "plus $10.00"..... this was on a Friday and he asked if he could call be back on the following Tuesday. It's been over a week and he never followed up and ignored my email (like they have the entire time). Unprofessional, frustrating experience. Lesson learned for sure! read more

Two years after my original Yelp review, I received a reply to my complaint that they messed up my laptop so badly that I had to purchase a new one. I just read the reply and was shocked to discover that they had also charged me for Office 365 and had done something about my OneDrive settings that were supposedly "discussed with me at their office." I was too ill to go into their office. Both drop off and pickup were done with an employee taking it from my car parked out front. They didn't know that I didn't know that Office was only available by subscription. I assumed - and actually still believe - that I had a version of Office that was installed when I purchased the laptop, and no "subscription" was needed. I also had no idea at the time that the phrase "OneDrive" referred to a cloud storage system. I thought it was somehow related to my hard drive. I keep OneDrive turned off to this day. I am "old school," having had a home computer since 1980, and even now I use it several hours a day. Often these young men - they are always men - assume we oldsters understand all the new lingo, such as "OneDrive." I know it now, but didn't then. We are treated like we are idiots for not knowing the latest,. What they don't realize is that I programmed a statistical analysis and graphing program on a 64K Apple II+ that had capabilities that Excel still doesn't have to this day. Did I not understand what they told me on the phone? It Yes. Does that mean I am inherently stupid? No. Of course not! It's like the time I decided to switch from an iPhone to an Android phone. The entire first day it kept ringing, and I couldn't figure out how to answer it. Apparently the knowledge that one swipes the screen didn't float through the æther into my brain like the rest of the world's population. None of these devices come with manuals any more. read more

My macbook screen broke unexpectedly and they let me come in that day and begin the repair process. It was a Thursday night and they ordered the part that day and didn't get it until Monday. The people were very friendly but they told us that it would be ready that Tuesday but kind of left us in the dark and we had to keep calling and asking for an update. I eventually got it that Wednesday. Service was good but I wish there was a little more communication on when it would be ready. It was a 100 dollar deposit for the diagnostic fee and then 450 to get the computer fixed. Very pricey considering that's about 1/3 of what I paid for the computer but it was the cheapest and quickest I could find in the area. read more

Second Update: After contacting Law Enforcement and making these reviews. Joel has added a bunch of new charges to 2 different invoices. Joel had already sent over an invoice (11/17) prior to the google reviews. I also have video footage of our phone conversation where you hear Joel Gulick call me a Fing Asshole for leaving a bad review. Update: After leaving this review Joel called me less than 30 minutes of the review being posted and told me I wouldn't see my computer again. He told me making a police report wouldn't matter and told me to F$#@ off. Alright so the rating right now is based off of the three months that Computer Solutions and Joel has had my PC. I dropped my Custom Built Xidax Gaming PC to Computer Solutions after making numerous calls throughout Savannah trying to find someone who could and would work on my PC. This was dropped off around August 11th, 2022, I would have to check my initial paperwork. Joel said "Oh yeah we can fix it for sure" and even laughed when I told him others said it would take a couple months. Fast Forward to today November 22nd 2022. I have had to hound Joel to get any updates for months. A pump had to be ordered from China, which I understand parts are hard to find. I have had minimal to zero updates, phone calls going unanswered along with many emails. I was told last week November 17th that everything was delivered and that my PC would be ready by Tuesday (the 22nd). Again numerous calls and texts, with barely any response. No Joel is saying he needs more time. Now I understand certain things take time and I am not the only customer, however this is terrible customer service. Regardless if there is no update, there should've been a weekly update until I have my PC back in my hands. If this issue gets resolved in a professional manner then I will update this rating and review. read more

I am leaving this review so no one experiences the same treatment I suffered. This place had my computer for almost 3 months with very limited responses to my emails and calls. After one month of having my computer they called me apologizing for the delay and told me if I just bought the computer part that they would cover the charges for labor which I obviously agreed to do. Once the part was ordered and sent to them I did not hear anything back for at least a month about when my computer would be ready. After I called and emailed and even went to their place of business to try and find out when I could have my computer, there was no response and no one was there. Finally after not knowing what was going on I left a review on Google in hopes that at least they would contact me regarding my review since they had not responded to my calls and emails. Eventually, I got in contact with them and when I went to pick up my computer they told me I had charges to my account. I said I didn't understand why since they had agreed to cover the labor because of their delay. They proceeded to tell me that due to my review on Google that they would no longer be honoring that promise. Then they said they would take the cost of the labor off if I took down the review and then signed a non-disclosure agreement to no longer post online about my experience. This was a total slap in the face and I decided to pay the charges so that everyone can be aware of how poorly this business treats their clients. read more

For some reason, this company DOES NOT show up in a yp.com search for computer repair or laptop repairs. Looking at the reviews for this company, it appears there are more than one company with this name out there as two are from states far far away. This one is in Savannah Georgia ! I have a 5 year old HP laptop that had to have the keyboard replaced as my kitty cat jumped up on my desk and vomited all over it and broke it. These guys took it in on a estimate for a NORMAL keyboard replacement but quickly discovered that the design of my laptop is far from anything normal. They had to special order a (internal) keyboard from HP which came from China and took 3 weeks to arrive. I kept the laptop during this time using an added on keyboard and when the new one arrived they called and I dropped it off. Two days later it was ready. When I went to pick it up they explained that the unique design of this laptop required far more work that initially anticipated thus the long wait as they had to obtain some special tools. However, when I asked if it would cost more, they said no that they would eat the extra work. I offered to compensate them and pay more but they refused. Good folks there! Now, two years later its time for the USB ports to be replaced and I am taking the unit back to them for more work. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about but my experience was about as good as one could hope for. read more

If I could give it a "thumbs down" or negative stars I would. I paid $120 which I was a bit annoyed with when I took my laptop to this shop. I was informed that in order to make the "repairs" that I had to pay up front which I was not used to at all since most of the time no matter what you do you pay when the job is done to ENSURE that it is done and done right. Well here I am after constantly posting my complaints on their Facebook page and getting NO CUSTOMER SERVICE......to see if I get an answer here. My laptop is NOT FIXED AND IN FACT is broken yet once again in the same way it was when I paid $120?????? So if I brought my car to a mechanic or dealership and they didn't do the job right the first time.....I WOULD TAKE IT BACK AND THEY WOULD DO IT RIGHT. THIS COMPANY.......IGNORES YOU. They get your money and you are ignored. $120??????? FOR WHAT? I could have bought the part which was a screen frame and nothing more, a few screws.....which I am sure was NOT THAT EXPENSIVE...and their tech rate. Here I sit with my laptop falling apart in my lap and I can't close it at all. Great Customer Service!! Took my desktop computer in for the free check up. They called the next day and explained what was going on. Gave me a quote and the price was far so I gave them a shot. After a week I had them out to my house to setup my printer on my laptop. Since then I have had no problems. The best part they had a warranty if I had any problem after 30 days. read more
