While apartment hunting I happened to be in the area and stopped by to check Savannah Trace Apartments out. After driving through I decided to stop in the leasing office to see if I could gather some more information while I was there. When I walked in, nobody greeted me and a woman walked out of the office and right away said "do you have an appointment" to which I replied that I was just stopping by and before I could finish my sentence she abruptly cut me off and told me that no body can help me if I don't have an appointment they are too busy, and then shut the door in my face. Extremely rude and unprofessional, and a huge red flag for the complex itself if these are the people that would be handling my inquiries if I did choose to live there. This company has one concern only. Your money. The ads do not reflect the actual rental charges. Just a lure to get you in. Also, he sure to check the criteria you need to meet before applying. A friend was denied because of a dismissed eviction. It's located on the website under brochures. They are supposed to attach it to the application. We were hoping to rent apartments next to each other but I'm glad we both dodged a bullet. They charge you for package delivery, to park your car and the "gym" has hardly any equipment Viewed three apartments, two smelled of urine and the other of fish. Nancy couldn't smell a thing. I lived there 3+ years and I have neglected most of their issues because of their good staff members. they don't fix the issue in timely manner. also watch out when you are moving out and pay for the only amount due with your lease end date. they asked me to pay for the full month when I end my lease at 20. they told me I will get credit check back including some deposited amount. I was hoping to get $900+ credit check but I received a call from collection to pay 300 to savannah trace for damage when I had a successful maintenance inspections. No communication, No closing out statements, Even I called and visit the office multiple times... they just ignored and give some BS answer for delay in the credit check. Email them... No response.... Requested Manager to Call... No response.... When I asked where is my closeout statement... they mail it to my apartment address which i already moved out!!!! Horrible Management!!! I am disgusted with this place. They are so unprofessional and unable to problem solve. They are out for your money. The apartments look nice. But they are NOT SOUND PROOF. YOU HEAR EVERYTHING. I have lived in apartments most of my life and I understand you hear somethings. At Savannah Trace Apartments, it's like your neighbors are in your home. Additionally upon move out, they charged us for damages to the stove. ITS NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR WITH AN ELECTRIC FLAT TOP. We cleaned it, but it will look a little used. My husband asked for proof of damages and they never gave it AND INSTEAD OF REACHING OUT LIKE PROFESSIONALS, THEY SENT $252.09 TO COLLECTIONS. THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with an apartment complex. Also, when you reach out to Corporate management, THEY DONT RESPOND. I have nothing good to say about this company. They are sweet to you when you are signing on to a lease, once you sign they will treat you like you do not matter any longer. Any concerns? It will take them weeks to get back to you. You have to literally hound the management to get back to your emails and phone calls. For someone who has a 9-5 job, I would have to take the day off just to go to the club house and get their attention. You will meet other neighbors there waiting in line to complain as well. When you do get their attention, they are condescending. Move out is such a hassle, you have to work around their schedule. The maintenance team handles the inspection, they are there 24/7, yet you can't get a hold of anyone when you reach out weeks in advance to set up inspection. When they do reach out, they call a day before you told them you'd move. Me and my bf work during the day, at some point we just gave up trying to reach them for inspection. We left the keys and we were happy to be rid of Savannah trace. Then they hit us with fees from inspection they did without us. They charged us damage fees that we know for a fact were not damaged. This is their racket. I am glad to have gotten out of this apartment complex. Living there made me anxious and stressed. If you have a job and time is hard to come by, do not live here. The management is terrible at getting back to your messages and calls. They bet on the fact that you'd be so busy and so tired that you wouldn't fight any fees they slap on you. Unfortunately we were one of the many that at the end of the lease term, we were happy to pay to get the fu@k out of there. Also the rent goes up significantly high. To get the same rate you're paying now, you have to sign on to a 2-5 year lease term..... it's absurd. Advise: only move in if your desperate and know for certain you're only staying a year. My sister and I have lived here for a little over 2 years now, it has been a wonderful experience. We searched long and hard for the right apartment in our hometown, Schaumburg. The town in itself has an interesting apartment gap- they are either priced out of our budget or are run down/ dated. When we stumbled upon these, they were the right fit financially and asthetically. First- let me speak on the layout of the apartment itself. They have a few different layout options. Originally we had wanted the plantation which features a living room in between the bedrooms- ideal for roommates. Unfortunetly due to out budget constraint/availability at the time of us moving- we did not get that. We went with the Vidalia and I have to say- it is GREAT! Yes, it is smaller but the units are well thought out. We are commuters and do not spend a lot of time at home, so it is the perfect size to live in and take care of. The finishes are neutral and up to date and in good condition. The building itself and grounds- are always kept in good condition. I love that these are not huge buildings with 4500 units. Mine has only 4! It feels like a townhouse. Secondly- Service Requests are a dream here. All you need to do is submit a request through their website and it is completed in 1-3 days, sometimes even the same day! They make communication easy by being available via email, phone or walking in. Whatever way is easiest for you to reach out, they are available! I also trust the service men that work there, nothing was out of place after they left and they make sure for themselves to arrive clean (with booties) once arriving in your unit. If they have any questions or updates, they reach out to you directly. All in all, we have had a great time living here. These are not the cheapest places you will find but there is a reason for that! You do get what you pay for and everything we have paid for here has been worth it! read more

My roommate and I decided to move into Savannah trace after we received a tour of the apartments, we decided that spending 1400$ on rent per month was worth going out of our intended price range for because we expected a higher quality of service than most of the other complexes that were 1200$ a month. BOY WERE WE WRONG. Our air conditioning has continued to have a mind of its own. (Maintenance has come to fix it 3 times and it still doesn't work very well so we've given up on trying to get it fixed) Our dryer also fails to do its job. For gods sake, the doorknobs on ALL of the closet doors fell off. The leasing office has the most bizarre hours (I think they just recently changed this), and they fail to answer phone calls/voicemails that we have left. and my favorite part: For the last 2-3 months my roommate and I have had to spend at least an hour trying to pay our rent because their payment system is broken. Constantly getting a "oh can you come into the office to figure this out" as an answer to all of our struggles, which NO we can't because we work and have lives and don't have time to figure out YOUR payment issues. A seemingly attractive rental community from the surface. Pet friendly, courteous staff (big shout out to Nancy) and nicely groomed grounds. The real fun begins after you sign the lease and move in. This is the suburbs (and not Wrigleyville) so you need a car. Be prepared to pay extra each month. Bring your pet...and be prepared to pay an extra deposit plus "pet rent". Should your pet move out before you (for any reason) you'll still pay that rent until lease rental time. Speaking of pets there aren't any receptacles for pet waste and many of the lazy neighbors will leave their dogs waste where it may fall. Then there's the neighbor on the first floor that lets their dog go #2 in the bushes...and never cleans them out. This is an ongoing problem that management chooses to ignore. Heating and AC units are old and go out constantly as do the washer/dryer combo. Nothing is replaced but units are swapped out for other tenants problem units The fees are insane. Don't be late or bounce a check Also this is not a community that cares for long term residents. So if you have a small family and think they will appreciate this think again. There is a little known clause where they will not renew your lease if you have even 1 late payment. As if living in an apartment where there's no temperature control, where the neighbors smoke cigarettes in the hallway, and the smell of curry is permanently embedded in the walls isn't enough, the procedures for moving out are complicated including paperwork and two inspections which are done during work hours. Beware that they will call you for leaving a review and will attempt to do nothing to resolve it. They will just boast their ideas and corporate mumbo jumbo. Don't move here. The staff is so rude and unfriendly after you've signed your papers. There's so many hidden fees it's ridiculous. The apartments LOOK nice, but once you get in you will quickly realize how crusty they are. Half of our windows are painted shut, half the outlets don't even work, our intercom to the front door has NEVER worked. The appliances and fixtures are as cheap as they come. And if you have any issues, good luck getting it resolved. Trying to reach the office is near impossible and if you do get through YOU will have to follow up with them MULTIPLE times, and no one even knows what they're talking about anyway so be ready for conflicting answers. If you plan to rent in this place, make sure you take a picture of the apartment on the day you move in.This place will claim that you did not clean your apartment even if you left it in a better shape than it was in , and eat up your entire deposit money. I have lived in many apartment complexes around the United States, at least a half dozen, and this one is by far the least friendly and least accommodating one that I have run into. Their website functions like something you would use on the original Macintosh. Did you have children make it? That's a serious question. These are beautiful apartments in a very safe and well maintained area. The dog park is so fantastic! Maintenance is always prompt and I haven't had many issues at all to begin with. The finishes in the apartment are gorgeous and the room sizes are great - My boyfriend and I have been living here for a little over 6 months and I've enjoyed the apartment thus far :-) My only complaints are that some of the fees can be a bit high, and it can be hard to get in touch with management when you have a question. I doubt that I will continue living here because it's becoming a bit expensive. However, the service is always done promptly and at a convenient time. Enjoy the life of Luxury? I think NOT. This apartment complex has gone to the dogs, literally!!!! I moved here a year ago from out of state. At the time, it was managed by a different company and it was ok for a little while, however, for the past 7 months, things have changed drastically. I live in a building here at 1437 Albany Court (soon to be vacant), I live on the 2nd floor and the resident below me has two dogs that BARK and HOWL CONSTANTLY when she is gone and sometimes for HOURS. I have brought this concern up several times to Nancy and Andrea (who is the manager) and have even called the police twice and nothing has been done as if they are unwilling to do anything at all. This has gone on now for 7 months. There is NOTHING luxurious about dogs howling and barking constantly. Also, when it comes to maintenance issues, they are very slow at getting them resolved and they do not communicate with the tenants when the issue will be completed. I waited 3 days to have my washer fixed, so I was inconvenienced having to go to a laundromat and do my laundry and not do it in the comforts of my own home and PAY for it too. I had to go into the office to find out why it wasn't fixed yet and why it was taking so long and why I was not contacted to say it will be done on this day and they couldn't answer that. They are USELESS when it comes to issues. When you have to leave your apartment to get any peace and quiet from BARKING and HOWLING dogs, that is unacceptable, especially for the amount you pay ($1,435 + utilities) to live here. Another tidbit to share, recently, management sent out an email with an incentive of a gift card for tenants to write a yelp review. So any reviews done in the first week of March, I would take with a grain of salt because they just wanted a gift card. Also, some helpful advice, if you consider moving here, I would ask how many tenants in the building have dogs, that way you will save yourself the aggravation. Where to start? Love the set up of my two bedroom apartment which is the biggest unit they have, but cannot stand the thin walls/floors and windows that are like paper. Even using plastic in the winter doesn't help the steady flow of cold air from coming through, and in the summer, with no ceiling fans, the a/c is definitely necessary, so the electric bill gets pretty high. The neighborhood looks very nice and actually is nice and quiet and family orientated mostly with little ones at least around where I live. There are a few loud teenagers from time to time. After work and weekends there are a lot of people taking walks with their pets and families. It is an expensive place to live. The apartments are priced at least $150-$200 higher than most apartment complexes depending on the day. It varies according to what they have available and the market, so if you catch them on a day they have many units available you might get lucky. I got lucky because they offered one free month's rent when I was moving in. The rent isn't even close to the bottom line you pay, though. You are sent a statement every month from a service they have chosen that takes care of the garbage, sewer and water and also charges a fee of $5.95 to send your statement to you. Mine usually averages around $48 to $50 per month. You also pay all of your own gas and electric (appliances are electric), (central air) so it's about as expensive as a home. You are also charged $10 for each car you park in their parking lot per month. So, if you have two occupants with 2 cars that adds an additional $20. If you want a premium space which are located with signs near the doors you pay double. For overnight visitors you can buy a special visitor pass at $10 per month or you can call the towing company every time providing them with all of your information and the vehicle information. Many people here have pets. If you do, get ready to shell out some cash. For one fixed domestic feline, it is a one-time fee of $350 PLUS a monthly fee of $30. So each of your pets pay rent, too. There is rarely anyone that answers the phone in the office, so if you need to talk to someone or have a maintenance issue, be ready to send an email and wait. They are supposed to have a machine where you can leave a message for someone to call later, but that doesn't always work. The best way I've found to send maintenance requests is online but, again, you submit and wait. They have about two maintenance men, one of which doesn't even know which way to put down a plastic ant trap. The other guy tries to cover the rest for him, but he is completely swamped and doesn't always clean up after himself. To pay your rent, you're better off doing it online or have an auto withdrawal. They do have a drop box for checks, but there is NO grace period at all. If you don't have your rent in on the 1st of the month, they hit you with an $80 charge, regardless of any possible reason for being late such as a family emergency, etc. So, if you don't mind paying the extra costs and higher rent and are able to get along on your own through the website and wait for what you need, it's a decent place to live. read more

Update : I reached out to the community manager after seeing the reply here. After back and forth about 6 emails, they handed out pamphlets to everyone mentioning that guest cars need to have the tag provided by the management office. About couple weeks back there was a fire in an apartment next to ours and we had to run for our life and hope the fire didn't reach ours. Thankfully they put the fire off and our unit was intact. During this drama I guess we lost one set of keys. Never saw the key again and since one of us were traveling and was hoping to find the key later in the house there was never a need. Finally remembered that the last time we saw the key was the day of the fire. Went to the management office few days back requesting for a new pair of key and spoke with one of their staff. They were nice and told I don't have to pay the 15 bucks considering the circumstances. I went few days back and asked another staff about the key and they mentioned the work order has not put yet and they are going to put one for me. I did say that the first staff I spoke to mentioned they are going to waive the fee for this. To my surprise, the second staff didn't honor the words of the first staff and went ahead and charged $15. Have to understand that for someone who pays $1300/ month, $15 is negligible. But the way they treated us is not acceptable. It's been two days, two of the power outlets are not functioning and we can't cook in the dark. The emergency number goes to an outsourced company and nothing is taken care right away. Absolutely disappointed with our stay here. This is an update to our previous review. They sneak in new fees every year and those fees will multiply faster than your salary. If you do live here be prepared to not only lose every penny of your deposit but to receive a bill for about another month's rent as well. They will even put charges for weather damage on the siding outside of your apartment. It is really quite ludicrous the things they come up with to make more money. They do not care about you at all. They do not consider people as humans but only as dollar signs. 1. Be careful about the monthly fees they do not tell you about such as paying for water and garbage removal. Additionally, you will be paying to heat/cool the common areas as well as your own apartment. YOU EVEN PAY 10 DOLLARS PARKING PER CAR!!!!!!!!!!! 2. When you move in, the office representative will rush you through your walk-through and possibly even refuse to write down any discrepancies you want recorded. Make sure they write down EVERYTHING, or you will be charged later. 2. THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T NEED IT AND AUTOMATICALLY ADD IT ON YOUR BILL WITHOUT ASKING FOR YOUR PERMISSION 3. I have had it with Aimco and decided to write this review for anyone out there who is considering this to be their place to live. I have been living here since march 2013. 1. I agree with all the below comments regarding thin walls, towing tour car, not being responsive and not resolving issues 2. I was in one of the apartments of the building where fire happened in November of 2014. They kicked us out and did not have another place for us for weeks - poor management 3. Finally they placed us in an apartment. Two days later as we were moving in we saw that apartment had mice. After several requests no one responded. Finally an email to Aimco leadership got Robin the regional manager to respond. 4. We have been now relocated to our 3d apartment and this is now dec 2014. In our current building we have neighbors who do not respect the smoking policy and smoke weed. It is now April and one of the neighbors has moved out but we are still stuck with this issue and Aimco has not done anything to resolve it. In fact they do not enforce their own policy. Main points for those who cant read the long story: 1. Rent is expensive and keeps increasing every lease renewal 2. Thin concrete which makes you hear every thing your neighbors do 3. Gym has only 3 thread mills and 1 elliptical and is always packed except for after 10PM 4. Old Windows will not stop winter winds and your apartment will always be freezing 5. Old AC and makes so much noise while running (every on the phone could also hear it) 6. Will not return your refundable deposit while move out with some or the other reason 7. Management is very rigid and not flexible in any terms 8. Their only goal is to get as much as money as possible from the residents in all possible ways Wanted to give brief points above for those who dont want to read the long review. But trust me I really had a very bad experience living here and will not suggest any of my friends to lease at this place. I have lived here for 29 months and the management is good and thats the only good thing about it. I paid more than what the apartment deserves specially with the old AC unit and OLD heating system. And on top of it, every year when we renew the lease, they increase the rent. I wonder how can rent increase as the apartment gets older. When I wanted to extend my lease for short term after 24 months, they asked me to pay $600 extra per month almost 50% of my monthly rent for a single bedroom. Since I had no place available immediately and I did not want to stay here for another year I had to pay that extra money. The concrete is so thin for the apartments I can literally hear every thing my neighbors do and its a night mare for me even if I think how the people who lived above me used to run all over at even odd hours which would give me headaches. During the Moveout inspection, they noticed a mark on my Kitchen counter and I donno whom they informed but they claim to inform some one when it was only me in my apartment that they are going to replace the counter. I was assuming since I was moving out they are redesigning things as it was totally different from what I had both color quality and realized only later when they put the complete charge on my Bill the following month after my move out. Wht would I pay $850 for a new counter some body else would enjoy. Forget getting my deposit back but they charged me extra on top of it. Inspite of cleaning the apartment spot less while moving out, they still charged me carpet cleaning, other cleaning all what not. So if you are moving out dont clean anything because they will any ways charge saying they cleaned it. I am only giving one star because those who work there in the office are really good and friendly and try to help you out. But they have no control over anything. I am not sure how true that is or they are just trying to be sweet. But I trust them. read more

The head management for these apartments in Denver CO are irresponsible, shady, clueless, unprofessional the worst we encountered. These apartments Are definetly not worth the hassle. We were unfairly billed $1300 after we moved out and were sent to the collection agency as we were awaiting for a response after multiple requests were made to clarify unfair billing practices. I Cosigned for an apartment and my credit card expired the month before last payment. They put a hefty fine against me and while I was constantly reaching out to the complex associate Brian Gangestad with out any reply. In the interim they put an eviction notice against me even though I have paid the rent, fines and all closing cost. This is after I spoke to the management company and they assured me that an eviction notice will not be put forth against me. I call the management office and get no response. I call the property and get no response. I am hoping someone there will see the frustration when I have done all I can Do right and return a call or email. In the meantime they have treated me unfairly and kicked me to the side after I have taken care of my responsibility to them. My wife and I have been living here for just under 2 years now. At first this place seems great. The apartment is laid out nicely, great space and amenities and the office staff is very friendly. (Nancy is the greatest!) Sure, newer apartments have nicer granite counters but certain important items, like the heat/air, stop working ALL the time. We have had maintenance out 6 or so times to fix the heater, and 3 or so time for the air last summer. Our bathroom lights burn through light bulbs every couple months. The windows are extremely old and drafty, and have no real locks. Living on the first floor, this is a concern, as it feels like anyone could get in whenever they wanted. The walls are very thin. We can hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing at all times...literally everything... I know when she wakes up, brushes her teeth plays with her dog and goes to bed. My neighbor told me he can hear squirrels living in his roof.... For three years now. For the price we are paying I feel the community could do a better job with upkeep of some of these items. The actual price of rent seems acceptable, it's a very nice community and they have amenities (like a gym, pool and soon a dog park) but there are a ton of monthly fees like pet for $60, parking that's not an assigned spot, pest control (I dealt with a terrifying spider infestation myself), and extra "Monthly Fees" are all added. It's violent, and goes up yearly. Recently we tried to pay rent early, turns out additional fees are not posted until the day they are due. And from what I'm told by an AIMCO supervisor, "The system has too many line items to process everything at the same time." So if you click the Pay Full amount option make sure to check again, because more "line items" are added causing confusion and frustration after thinking you have already paid in full. In the case described above, because of the confusion and frustration one of the 4 payments that had to be made was posted to the wrong bank, causing a return of $29. Now we have to pay a $75 return fee, and an $80 late fee, totaling $184. When calling to pay the $29 and get and explanation of about why the process of paying rent this month was a fight, the representative and supervisor made no effort at all to help. They were cordial, this isn't Comcast, but they will do almost nothing to help you. I only got a literal explanation of how bank accounts work, and that I was "lucky" to see how the system works in adding all the "line items". $184 because of a technically failure on their online system. A $30 mistake costs us a whole lot of money, and these kind of things make the good things about Savannah Trace seem not so good. We are angry enough to for sure not sign again. My family and I recently moved in to Savannah Trace because of its great location and the layout of our unit is awesome. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews prior to moving in. After the third comment I read, I began to get more and more nervous especially since we signed a 15 month lease. Within the first week I noticed that the unit was not heating up correctly especially in one of the bedrooms. We decided to put up some plastic; yeah that really didn't help. It also didn't help that the temperature was in the negatives with the wind chill. To add to our nightmare, the tenants upstairs kept making a lot of noise in one of the bedrooms. At first I thought they were just having rough sex for about an hour. Make a long story short I came to find out that my tenants thought it would be a great idea to have a treadmill in the room directly on top of mine. So like a good neighbor, not trying to get them in trouble by calling the police or letting the association know, I kindly asked them to stop using it. I mean a common sense normal person would think that having a treadmill on the second floor would bother the tenants right below them right? Wrong. The problem continued. My tenant and I ended up coming to an agreement on specific hours, but the noise and vibration became unbearable and annoying after a couple more days. I can't even watch tv with my daughter because when the vibrations start we have to leave the room if not the apartment. After several weeks, I finally went to the leasing office and spoke with Michelle. Can I just say what a relief it is to have Michelle working for Savannah Trace. My family and I were about to pay the fines just to get out of this nightmare. Michelle sat down with us and heard us vent for about 40 minutes. She came up with a solution and promised things would change. Within a couple of days, Michelle had worked her magic and replaced our vintage furnace. Our apartment is nice and toasty and we couldn't be any happier. I believe Rich was our maintenance man. (If that is not his name I greatly apologize.) He took great care of us and went above and beyond what Michelle asked for. I mean this guy went on top of the roof with snow and freezing temperatures to replace one of our vents. He fixed our crooked front door and placed a new weather strip. He checked all around our windows to make sure they were sealed tight. Rich found that some windows needed sealant and took care of the problem. Rich did all of this without being asked by me. Rich was determined and did not leave until my family and I were satisfied with his work. As for my marathon runners well that is still work in the process, but I have no doubt Michelle will handle the problem. Michelle just advised me that the problem will be fixed soon enough. I couldn't be any happier with the professional level of customer service Michelle and Rich have brought to the table. I can definitely say that because of her my family and I are staying and will renew our lease next year. As to comment on the thin walls; I think that there is no problem. However the ceiling is thin. We can hear our tenants vacuum and their lovely dog barking all day long. As to comment on the towing; thankfully Savannah Trace heard and responded to the comments on Yelp. They have suspended towing until further notice. Which honestly is a great thing. My suggestion is if you have any problem go speak to Michelle, I can assure you that she will not stop until you are completely 100% satisfied. read more

I have never had to write an apartment review before but if this makes AIMCO and Savannah Trace reconsider the things it does then i will write on every site today. These homes are outdated, the furnaces are so old and don't work well, my room is freezing and when i asked for it to be fixed i was told there is nothing they can do about it. The fees are outrageous! I pay over $1200 a month which can get me a decent home and you would think i would have some peace of mind living here but no. I now have to worry about my car or my family's car getting towed not to mention the damages the tow company did to my car. It is very sad that Savannah Trace doesnt care about its residents because they are making money with this towing company. So they have a towing company that comes around every night and tow cars for every reason under the sun some of which are utterly ridiculous! My sister stopped by for less than an hour for safety concerns on the road that we were trying to take care off and by the time she walked out the car was gone!!! Who does that? My car was towed because the sticker on my plate was 3 days late but legally i had my new sticker in my car, didnt put it on there because of rain the last few days. Even a cop that stopped me in the past told me i had 30days to ensure the new sticker was on there but even worse no cop will tow your car for that. Its like your place of residence is not a fortress they are out to get you and get your money. I travel frequently and if i am gone for long i can look forward to coming back to no car and missing work and $175 short Now if parking was scarce i can understand but there is no reason for all this nonsense. The homes are outdated how about we focus on that? The management group most of them are rude and yell at you and have no sympathy at all. Lisa and Nancy ridiculous! If there was no charge for breaking a lease i would have left here after 2 months. I would never advise anyone to live here ever! read more

Would never have moved in on a special rate had I known they would increase my rent dramatically the following year to get their money back. My rent has been paid on time or early every month even with Covid. I spoke to the office staff and the management company to be able to stay just 3 months or even one month at the same rate as I am buying a home. The only offer I could get was around $425 more for 1 extra month after my lease and around $350 more for 3 extra months. Absolutely unacceptable! They are truly all about the money and do not care about good tenants so don't bother. My front door shakes like someone is breaking in every time somebody in the building comes or goes, half of my windows don't lock or are painted shut and I've had problems with ants twice since being here. If you move here just be prepared for a big increase the following year or be prepared to find somewhere else to move. I had no plans on moving after one year but this is too much for an apartment. read more

!!Stop Don't Do It!! Stay away!! Don't judge a book by its cover is what they say. This place fits the bill for that saying. Looks nice on the outside but once you really look around it keeps getting worse and worse! From windows that pour in cold air, that don't lock and are ready for burglars . We had to put cardboard over the bedroom window to keep my wife from freezing. Water heaters that are almost 30 years old. They wont replace if unless water is on the floor and the apartment is flooding. The walls in the bathroom were painted over pubic hairs from the last tenants. They will also nickel and dime you to death with paying for Parking and for Pets and Water and Garbage. What's included ? NOTHING,, Expect your water bill Gas electric to be very high. Since everything is so old!! The maintenance people are nice and responsive. We like them. Can't say the same about the office people. read more

First I'd like to say that when we first moved to these apartments we loved it. They are spacious and had some upgraded features although we weren't offered hardwood flooring at the time. The rent gradually increased the more we renewed our lease but that was to be expected but what we didn't expect was that it would increase by almost $100. Savannah Trace Apartments are money hungry and the move out instructions and charges are beyond ridiculous. These people have you pay to clean your own carpet upon move out and then tell you it isn't good enough and charge over $100 anyways, despite the fact that there was a flood from the next apartment over that damaged the floors. Then they charged us over $100 because our window seals weren't cleaned up to their standards and the stove wasn't wiped off. Really?? They gave us until midnight to go and clean as best as we could but why in the world would I do that when I had professionals come clean the carpet and you still charged me. I'm not in the business of wasting my time. They looked for every reason under the moon to charge us all of our security deposit. They lost my xmas package that was delivered to their office, some of the office staff was nice but this one chick had a very nasty attitude. They have paper thin walls and our upstairs neighbor was heavy footed and not only could we hear every where she stepped, on one night she managed to knock one of my pictures off of the wall. And I don't know why but you can only use the furnace or airconditioner during certain times of the year. We had a really cool spring day and although we turned on the heat it would not come on. One of the bedrooms couldn't get cool with the ac on and the other room wouldn't get warm in the winter. The faucet needed to be replaced twice for water shooting out of the spout. After living there for 2 years they only cleaned our vents a few days before we actually moved out. Wow. DISAPPOINTMENT I am soooooo happy that we are no longer living there and we have found an apartment community that actually values the tenant and respects the fact that we are spending our hard earned money with them. RECONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS WHEN LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT HOME UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND SPENDING MORE MONEY THAN NEEDED... read more

I've been living here for almost 10 years now and love every min of it. The staff is super friendly and is always helpful. The place is always clean and they keep the grounds looking amazing. A great community with great schools. Love this place don't think I will be looking for anything anytime soon. read more
