They have years of experience teaching these courses as they were able to tell me what were the differences in practice between the old guidelines and the most current ones. One of the instructors was an RN so she able to give us practical tidbits and show us things to look out for in codes. Coming in I was really lacking in interpreting rhythm strips, and the instructor helped me remember easy ways to recognize the different patterns. I enjoyed the hands-on experience working the defibrillator while the instructor went through the different ACLS algorithms. Classes are small enough for you to feel like its individualized teaching and they definitely do want you to succeed so you can perform high-quality CPR in the field and/or participate in codes. Will come again when it's time to re-certify.

Ms. Cindy who runs the show is extremely reliable and easy to get a hold of. If you find yourself in my place, I would 100% recommend to go with A Family Affair. They do their due diligence and takes proper notes. Even though my current circumstances are unfortunate, I am extremely happy to have A Family Affair to supervise visits for me. I understand their are other negative reviews from people who are the "ones supervised." I am one of the people being supervised, this company is great and extremely flexible with scheduling. I looked into other companies and none of them company to a Family Affair as far as communication, reliability, flexibility, and price. Hopefully this sheds some light and helps those that are looking for a company to help them out. There is light at the end of the tunnel and this company can help you get there.
