Tidal might have my favorite beers of any of them. I've become one of those IPA people over the years, and they're great with those, from West Coast to Hazy--but they're also solid with other styles, and seem to be particularly good with British styles, from ESBs to "mild" ales. The service there's always been fast and friendly, and I like the place's atmosphere in general: it's rarely too loud but it's still lively, making it good for both sitting down with a beer to do some writing and for chatting up people on the admittedly rare times I'm being chatty. While there's little food within walking distance--a problem with virtually any Florida suburb--there's a lot within short driving distance, and a taco truck recently set up semi-permanently in the parking lot. (I haven't had a chance to try them yet.)

Tidal Brewing isn't much on atmosphere, but they make up for it with a solid bunch of beers. Tidal is located in an old, somewhat rundown strip mall that is next to an abandoned gas station. Some of the parking places were the actual gas pumps or former gas pumps. The inside is fine with an assortment of board games, tables, booths and a bar. The beer is really good. I asked for a flight, but they don't have flight boards. You can get as many 5 oz pours as you want in pint glasses. The only issue here is carrying 6-pint glasses to your booth. No biggie. I was a big fan of their Horchata Porter, Turbid Waters (hazy IPA) and the Dunkelweissen. Pretty tasty. There is no food onsite but there was a Marco's pizza in the strip mall, some shady looking food truck around the corner, and a Latin restaurant next door. If I was just judging on the beer, 4 stars. The server was nice and if I was a local, I'd be a regular.

Had the garlic shrimp appetizer, and also the escargot. Both were quite nice while the regular menu is quite diverse. We both decided on specials at the veal Oso Buco, and also the elk loin. Both were absolutely incredible. For dessert, we decided to share a crème brûlée. The only downside is they don't have coffee, only espresso. Definitely will be back as I'm not sure what more they could do to make the evening more enjoyable

Nouvelle is packaged butter and store bought bread. We had the cheese platter priced at $40 very overpriced. Salad at nouvelle was iceberg lettuce, with a potion of tomato, cucumber, white onion and maybe a Caesar dressing probably bottled. Prime 88 has an option of a Caesar salad dressing with romaine lettuce. We had the châteaubriand which was excellent but was market price and seemed very high compared to Prime 88. Beef at Prime.88 is dry aged. Prime 88 also comes to your table and slices it for you. We had the dessert which was the lava cake. Excellent. Prime 88 has a very nice wine cellar. Nouvelle had a few wines - more option on beers. Very expensive glass option on both. Service was good. Ambiance was overcrowded. I will stick with Prime 88.

Nearly everything in the brewery has been reclaimed and repurposed. They had a vision, and they brought it to life beautifully. Some noteworthy details include the bar top, which is made from wood that is over a century old, and the front of the bar, which features reclaimed door panels sourced from all over. The furniture is also reclaimed, and the unique touches throughout the space seem endless. They also have a quaint outdoor space and multiple rooms to gather in. The beer was enjoyable, and they host events throughout the week. I also noticed they regularly feature food trucks, making it a great spot to gather with friends and family. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and hope to stop by again soon.

The "sparklers" were my fave! These were new to me- kind of like a seltzer and a fresh fruit juice had a boozy baby! They have a food truck outside and you could eat inside or on the deck, but I'm not sure if they have one every day. Check the place out next time you're in the area...It's got a great vibe!
