Good location but definitely on the smaller side. It's packed full of food, coffee, snacks, and…read moredrinks. The young woman who checked us out was super sweet and friendly, the coffee was fresh, and the made to order food came fast and hot. We got egg, sausage, and cheese on bagels and the whole thing tasted microwaved instead of toasted, which was disappointing since their MTO breakfast is usually great. The hash browns were really good and hot!

What the Sheetz? No, really, what the Sheetz? I'm a bit surprised at this location. I know that…read moremostly this is a Sheetz here to serve the community that it is in, but when driving the highway and you see a sign that Sheetz is off the exit you know of a few things for sure. You will have facilities to use, parking aplenty, and a quick browse over the many items. This Sheetz, fell flat. I had been doing a lot of commuting back and forth from PA to DC. Along the way I have stopped at many highway stops to quickly continue in my trek. Honestly, I have been through this corridor many times and I had no idea there was a Sheetz located here. But I was more focused on the road and not necessarily the amenities offered off each exit. Getting here was not hard at all, but the lot was super confusing. See the lot is on what some would call an important corner in this town. It appears that this Sheetz has been here for some time and just updated the lot to make it look new along the way. The parking is atrocious, since this is not your usual lot they threw in parking where it would fit. The back side of the building is totally confusing as a majority of the parking spots are up against the building, and since the building is not totally square-ish, the parking is just all over the place. Add some parallel spot as well and you have just about total chaos. Talking about chaos, the facilities. There is only one facility to use. Bright side, you can say that they have gender neutral restrooms. Not so bright side, when you really have to go, you have to wait. I mean really wait. Don't worry, you may get confused as well, because does that line go to the restroom or is that the line for the register? As far as the items to opt from on the shelves. Think Sheetz and then divide by four. Space wise this is not a great store as they have all you would expect from a Sheetz, but not every item in each of those areas. It is a bit disorienting trying to find an item, if they even have that item. If you can, wait while on the highway to go a bit further to hit a Sheetz. Until this one is rebuilt or relocated let it be for the community.

Very nice and clean store! Love how bright and fresh everything is. The isles are nice and clear…read morefor easy access. It would be nice to have a slightly larger selection on some items. The store always seems to be very clean no matter when you are in there. I like using the app for Food Lion. It makes check out and using the store coupons so much easier!!!

Some time ago I had placed an order via phone to the Food Lion Bakery asking them to prepare a cake…read morefor a certain person's birthday and to have that cake be ready by the next day. I had called them early in the day but not so early that I thought it would be disruptive (like I called them an hour after the Bakery was supposed to be open), intending to give them plenty of time to fulfill my request. When I talked to them on the phone, while they may not have been openly rude or disrespectful, there was a sort-of tone to their voice (I had spoken to two - a woman who picked up initially and a woman who took my order, this applies somehow to both of them) that seemed to imply that I was somehow being intrusive in asking them to do their job. This "tone" (and from now on I will only be refering to the second person I talked to) leaked out especially when, after they had started to list the different types of cake structures to me, I felt compelled to ask what those terms specifically meant since I don't buy cake very frequently and am therefore not an expert. Gotta say, made me feel like an idiot, and I couldn't help but get the sense that it was all a big chore to them and that nothing would please them more than to have me hang up the phone and go about my day. Well, anyway, I asked them what approximate time they would have the cake be ready by, stating that I was in no rush whatsoever just as long as the cake was completed sometime the next day. They told me it would be completed by, if I recall correctly, 11am the next morning. Well, the next day came and I called them at around 10am to see if the cake was already completed. It was. But honestly, no it really wasn't. I would find out the day after at the birthday party when I began to eat the cake, which was supposed to have peanut butter frosting, that the frosting was not mixed well AT ALL. It was still crunchy with sugar when it definitely should have been a lot smoother, and the flavor was only very very very vaguely peanutbuttery. I don't normally write reviews for stuff like this but I felt more than compelled to do so in this case. To summarize, the employees clearly didn't give a crap, were even a bit condescending, and utterly failed at completing the task assigned to them despite being given (what I believe to be) AMPLE TIME TO COMPLETE IT. The only saving grace I could think of, and the only reason I opted not to give them one putrid star, was that there was really no hint of the employee's clear condescension and disdain when I went to go pick up the cake in person, though I mainly attribute this to the fact that I was relieving them of a burden rather than putting one on their shoulders. Because everyone is always oh-so nice when you lighten their load. I'll conclude this by saying that the Food Lion is a good store that I don't really have any complaints about overall, but the bakery definitely, if largely unchanged since this whole cake fiasco, needs to shape the **** up.
