Good location but definitely on the smaller side. It's packed full of food, coffee, snacks, and drinks. The young woman who checked us out was super sweet and friendly, the coffee was fresh, and the made to order food came fast and hot. We got egg, sausage, and cheese on bagels and the whole thing tasted microwaved instead of toasted, which was disappointing since their MTO breakfast is usually great. What the Sheetz? No, really, what the Sheetz? I'm a bit surprised at this location. I know that mostly this is a Sheetz here to serve the community that it is in, but when driving the highway and you see a sign that Sheetz is off the exit you know of a few things for sure. You will have facilities to use, parking aplenty, and a quick browse over the many items. This Sheetz, fell flat. I had been doing a lot of commuting back and forth from PA to DC. Along the way I have stopped at many highway stops to quickly continue in my trek. Honestly, I have been through this corridor many times and I had no idea there was a Sheetz located here. But I was more focused on the road and not necessarily the amenities offered off each exit. Getting here was not hard at all, but the lot was super confusing. See the lot is on what some would call an important corner in this town. It appears that this Sheetz has been here for some time and just updated the lot to make it look new along the way. The parking is atrocious, since this is not your usual lot they threw in parking where it would fit. The back side of the building is totally confusing as a majority of the parking spots are up against the building, and since the building is not totally square-ish, the parking is just all over the place. Add some parallel spot as well and you have just about total chaos. Talking about chaos, the facilities. There is only one facility to use. Bright side, you can say that they have gender neutral restrooms. Not so bright side, when you really have to go, you have to wait. I mean really wait. Don't worry, you may get confused as well, because does that line go to the restroom or is that the line for the register? As far as the items to opt from on the shelves. Think Sheetz and then divide by four. Space wise this is not a great store as they have all you would expect from a Sheetz, but not every item in each of those areas. It is a bit disorienting trying to find an item, if they even have that item. If you can, wait while on the highway to go a bit further to hit a Sheetz. I hate being this guy... but I'm tired of being disappointed in this Sheetz. There are a small handful of employees that actually care at this Sheetz location - but the employees who show lack of motivation unfortunately spoil it for everyone else. The past handful of times I've been to this location, I've either had an entire component missing from my order, it's been wrong, and/or the wait time is unacceptable. Please hold everyone to the same standards that the good employees are held to. I will not be ordering food from this location anymore. Consistency is important to the success of any business. Sheetz is a road trip tradition. We always stop because they have clean bathrooms, lots of pumps, diesel fuel, quick service and good food. NOT THIS PLACE! Avoid this place at all costs! The single bathroom is gross. The place is crowded and they don't enforce the mask rule. When it's 10+ people in this little area, masks are important. They seem under staffed hence the longer wait time and the crowd. People are waiting in all aisles for their food. Staff seem friendly and working hard. There is spilled beverage in the floor. I am just really uncomfortable being here and half tempted on waking out on our $20 food order. read more

Stopped by while charging my car next door. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest (but not the worst) so that is why I docked a star. I ordered a coffee and the service was great for there only being 3 people working. Gave me a super large so I definitely felt like I got my moneys worth. Friendly staff. Delicious coffee. BEST PEOPLE EVER!!!! I (a 26 year old petite woman) showed up late last night, covered in dirt and hauling a dead electric bike. I was exhausted and freaked, in an unfamiliar town separated from the rest of my group. As I was entering the store, a rude gentleman made a comment about bringing a bike in stores. The woman behind the counter, Wendy, was an absolute saint who shook her head and told me to ignore him. I brought the bike in and asked if I could wait for my partner and his mom. She said of course, and told me to get food and drinks, use the bathroom, and that she'd watch over my bike. About 30 minutes later, the rest of my group arrived and I broke down crying from the stress of the day. Wendy was so kind and helped my partner plug in my bike INSIDE THE STORE so that I could ride it the rest of the way to our hotel. We ordered hot food which was EXCELLENT (it was made to order and tasted so good after we had bikes so many miles) and got drinks. The bill was $50 for a full good meal. I thanked Wendy and she gave me a hug, saying she didn't realize how badly off I was when I first arrived. I told her it wasn't her fault at all and that I was so grateful. I tried to buy a donut as I left, but they refused to let me pay for it! I almost teared up. I've stopped here multiple times with doing business in the area. This is located off I68 on the Buckeystown exit. Quick on and off the highway type location. This Sheetz is newly renovated- has indoor and outdoor seating and the usual high amount of items for sale. But what people want to know is: how is the food? Does the staff prepare food properly and quickly? In my many times ordering food I have not had an issue. I usually order either a salad or a sub and each time the food has been prepared accurately, and quickly. The ingredients have been fresh, the items have not been rushed to be completed so they come out sloppy- any of the kind. The food has been very good. It's what Sheetz is supposed to provide. The customer service has also been very good- the clerks at the front counter have been nice and hospitable and the cooks and those that prepare the food have been quick and polite as well upon serving the completed orders. I pay for the monthly subscription for unlimited drinks and can maybe use it 3 times a month here. The worst sheetz I have ever been in. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I have ordered food it is wrong! The store is by far too small and not nearly enough square feet for you to walk with another person in an aisle! Walk space is very narrow. This location also never has enough staff and most of the management seems to sit in the office until you are literally in a line going back through the middle aisle back to the coolers for vast amounts of time (I have been in line for 6 mins before). I'm a self-proclaimed "Sheetz Nut" born and raised in the heart of Sheetz country--I refuse to step foot in a Wawa and I sing the praises of Sheetz to anyone who will listen to me... so it hurts to give one a bad review, but this Sheetz is awful. There's really no way around it. I travel back and forth from DC home to Pittsburgh to see my family frequently, and while this Sheetz should be an ideal, convenient stop off of I-70, I'm loathe to stop, and usually wait it out til the one in Breezewood instead. This weekend, I was coming back from a day in Berkeley Springs, and against my better judgement stopped here. I was vividly reminded why I avoid this location. First of all, the store is tiny and it's WAY too cramped, which makes it awkward when you have to stand around and wait for your MTO to be prepared. The staff is nice enough, but the place seems understaffed and the line is always long, and I've had many, many, messed up orders, because they always seem to be playing catch up. Finally, the bathroom... don't stop at this Sheetz if you want to use the bathroom, especially if it's an emergency. It's single unisex bathroom and the line for it usually winds half way to the back of the store. Once you get in, it's always filthy. The standard Steve Sheetz "let us know if this bathroom is dirty" plaque taunts you when you enter. If you're on the road and you need to use the bathroom, you're better off just going a little further north on 70 and use the bathroom at the PA welcome center. read more

This is the dirtiest Sheetz I have ever been in. We went in the night of the Hancock Halloween Parade and there were bugs crawling on the prepackaged food by the register, the food prep area was a mess, the coffee station had coffee spilled everywhere and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was pubic hair in the sink! When I told the staff the bathroom needed attention they said "yeah ok". Something should really be done about this location. read more

This was probably our most disappointing Sheetz experience. I guess I should have read the previous reviews but we always try to stop at Sheetz when possible and we need gas or a restroom--especially in COVID times-- because we have always had good experiences with clean bathrooms. Not this time. Went in to use the restroom with the family after getting gas. The store was super cramped, with only a single unisex bathroom. There was not good space to line up in a socially distant way. The bathroom was dirty, paper everywhere but no paper towels in the dispenser (appeared previous patrons had tried to use toilet paper to dry their hands). Despite posted signs, mask compliance from customers was spotty (usual mix of customers with masks not covering their nose and/or mouth, and at least one customer who walked in twice with no mask at all). Even the employee behind the counter kept taking her mask off and then sort of on (covering mouth but not nose). Very disappointing given what we expect from Sheetz. Can't comment on the food, but would recommend trying a different one if you need the bathroom. read more
