Good grocery stores with a verity of choices are scarce in WV. The next closest is in Morgantown. Our Charleston Ashton Place Kroger has been going down hill in service and quality for a couple years. This new Kroger has it all. As to be expected it's clean and well stocked. The produce section is awesome. The deli has a large section including two cases of fresh sushi. However the warm case seems small compared to the rest of the deli. The bakery is well sized and have a lot to offer. I was disappointed with the fresh meat counter. Again it seemed as a small afterthought compared to the rest of the store. They have a huge and I mean huge beer and wine section. A nice verity of choices here. The rest of the store is your typical staples and are well stocked.o

Inside, the same aisles in the same order, the same merchandise on the shelves, the same checkout experience. I had no problem finding the few things I need for when I travel and my favorite brands because I'm really an ALDI fan. Remember to bring your quarter for the shopping cart and your reusable bags.
