With Walmarts, you can always play: "never have I ever" easily. The answer is, "to a good Walmart." Staff is always unhelpful. The places are always disheveled and lacking. Just like this one But, like a moth to a flame, we sometimes just have to go to these marts. Tiny rant, but this one is an epitome of bad Walmarts. read more

We visited today and one of the employees was in the parking lot shouting obscenities, both when we entered and exited. We brought it to the attention of one of the other employees and it was completely disregarded. Also, several of the patrons looked a bit scary. This particular WalMart was around four blocks from a liquor store and a cannabis store. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. They accused me and my wife of being drunk, and the cashier refused to sell us a single bottle of vodka because he claimed he smelled alcohol. What he smelled was the hand sanitizer that my wife had literally just put on her hands. We asked to speak with his supervisor, who was the store manager. The store manager said that she couldn't override the cashier. But after calling corporate, we were told that she lied and the store manager can override ANY cashier. We offered to let them smell our breath, which they refused to do, we offered to let the police who sit on the property to come in and give us a breathalyzer, they refused. My 13 year old son was with us, so if they were SO convinced that we were drunk, why didn't they call the police on us instead of letting us take him home? We were very polite with them, but they were very, very rude, condescending, and patronizing to us. Don't go here, they lie and are just beyond rude. In over 20 years of shopping there, we've NEVER had a single problem until now. I don't know what happened, but clearly the quality of the employees has drastically plummetted. read more

So... apparently I can't use my Wife's debit card here (never a problem before), since my last name didn't match the one on the card. Even though I showed my ID, copy of my marriage license (I'm sentimental), pictures on my phone & other various forms of proof. They must have believed I was attempting larceny, fraud, &/or identity theft over bread & milk. I can't imagine this being a policy. Seeing how it's unenforceable through self checkout. Afterwards I went to the Hurricane Walmart & had absolutely no trouble. It seems their cashiers are familiar with common sense. So after two unnecessary hours later (nearly midnight), I'm heading home with my groceries. read more

I went to pick up and item that was placed on hold for me (because it was a furniture piece.) I had already PAID for it and they lost my item. They would not help find it, and didn't offer any resolutions at all. Spent 45 min waiting for someone to help and no one did. All they said is that they "couldn't find it." Not even the manager would help me find the item that they lost and that I had already spent my money on. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not shop at this location. read more

We badly needed a food tray for a close friends family who had just lost a child after a long illness. Being Thanksgiving eve, attempts at local stores were futile and required 24 hr notice. We shop often at the Cross Lanes store and called the Deli and spoke with Harold. As he heard of our desperate situation, he simply said, "when would you like to pick it up?" In an attempt to make it easy for them, we suggested they just place the items in individual bags rather than a tray. When we arrived at the deli, we were sweetly greeted by Lindsay. She and Harold brought out the most beautiful tray and said that just bagging the food would not have done it justice. During the funeral visitation, the family had indicated that it was the BEST MEAT AND NICEST TRY they had ever tasted and seen. We visited the store a made contact with Tina Kelley, the store manager to share our praise. She expressed so much appreciation and demonstrated extreme professionalism. GOD BLESS AND THANKS! I came in early for an oil change. Was here 20 minnutes before they opened and was 3rd in line. Almost 2 hours later they haven't touched my car, but have done 2 tire jobs for people who were behind me. They have Techs calling off. i've called 5 times and every time i call i get hung up on and i'm trying to check my application status!

When I used self check out the machine didn't give me my dollar in change when I asked the 3 employees who were standing there talking to each other and a friend for help they just looked at me so I called the store to speak to the manager the employee who answered the phone wouldn't let me speak with the manager and when I said I didn't want my dollar I just wanted the employees to do their jobs and be helpful the employee responded "you mean you don't want your f***ing dollar" and put me on hold I have currently been on hold for 35 1/2 minutes!!! read more

I just had the best Wal-Mart shopping experience ever. Roberta found me wandering the isles searching for "once a year food"-the French fried onions-and was so helpful. There isn't much to say about Walmart. When you are a huge supplier of everything and you have the lowest prices, everyone will shop at your store. This one is dirty compared to the one in Cross Lanes. It may be the quality of people. Second, they NEVER have enough registers open but they don't care. You are gonna shop here and you are going wait an extra half an hour to check out. Then you're gonna do it again in two weeks. Awesome isn't it? I would shop here again if I am in the area. Otherwise, I'll go to another location or a competitor. read more

Several times I have been at this WalMart and experienced indifferent to unconcerned people at the checkout, but this weekend "took the cake". I came up to a surprisingly uncrowded express checkout counter, started placing my items on the counter. The clerk was having a conversation with the greeter - continued her conversation, no greeting to the customer, no acknowledgement , just kept up her conversation about her "last night". Totally unprofessional, and really gives the impression that she would prefer that I go to some other counter or store. I proceeded to announce in my best "outdoor" voice "No customers at this counter, ladies, please continue with your conversation" - got the terminal "stink eye" from both greeter and clerk. I will probably be buying more at the Cross Lanes store, where they appear to have some concern for customers, or possibly the manager has a better training and hiring program. read more

It's one of the better Walmart's in the area, its well organized, the staff is friendly and eager to help you find exactly what you're looking for, and the lines aren't very long! That says a lot of about a store! I recommend this Walmart over Southridge Walmart any day! read more

I called the phone and asked about a specific item that I know walmart carries ( to see if they have it at the store ) and the employee did not know anything about the item and was not helpful whatsoever. Do not put an employee on the phone that can't help or answer questions, it's just useless. read more

A smaller Walmart than the one at Southridge. Better selection and better stocked at other nearby Walmarts. I would drive a couple miles further and not worry about stopping here. read more

Great place to shop and get the best deals. Sometime they are very crowded and it's hard to get around and find stuff. The staff is very friendly. Plenty of room to park, and always had clearance items. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because, there's never enough registers open. read more

My husband and I visited the store last week looking at tire prices. While near the Auto garage an employee working the counter walked in from the garage.. He dropped a key and did not know. My husband picked up the key and handed it to the emjployee. The guy took the key and did not even say thank you or nothing. Turned around at the counter and did not ask if he could help us.
