It's rare we run into an emergency with my insulin, but it happened today and luckily it was early in the day. After calling the doctor, they contacted Pharmasave, who gave us detailed instructions including the best way to get there. I remember the whole event being pretty seamless. Upon our arrival they had the order ready and processed. The pharmacist even helped prepare a shot and created a small recovery type area, just in case. When word got out, half the family showed up. Which is nice. These workers were so wonderful that we dropped some extra coin picking up a few non-essentials. Our way of saying thank you. Little do they know it but they converted a few new customers once the story leaked out. 10/22

I'm not…read morereally sure what goes on behind the curtain, but what I can tell you is that the support staff are far from competent, as they can't seem to navigate through their own internal portal, stating I don't have active scripts when I do. Regretfully, I find the pharmacist Ms. Daoust to be extremely combative, hostile, condescending, and outright unhelpful. I'm not really sure why she chose this line of work, as it's unequivocally clear she doesn't enjoy helping others. All of my interactions with her have been nothing short of negative--whether it be throwing the book at me, refusing to prescribe for minor ailments contrary to the Health Act, or "forgetting" to fax my doctor despite double confirming that she did. I'm so sorry that my presence has turned into such a burden for Ms. Daoust. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend this pharmacy.

So when I found a few obscure chips and goodies that I haven't seen in years, I went overboard. Then there were the toys for the grandkids, the knickknacks and a few clothing items we felt we needed. Couple that with the groceries and other household supplies we originally went there to buy and we might well be their new favourite customers. As you can imagine the staff are very welcoming and appreciative. They strike me as the type that always smile. What a wonderful thing. They do have a lot to smile about. A seemingly successful business, plenty of friends visiting, plus they provide a valuable service to the community. What we didn't buy this trip is on our list for next time! Extremely noisy due to music. Manager is often seen freaking out at the staff in front of customers. Manager was caught price gouging once before and continues to do so. Floors are covered in smeared fruit and the bathroom constantly emits a strong oder out into the store. 2 of my family members work/worked there and both constantly talk about how the staffing situation keeps getting worse and that the employees are treated terribly by the Manager. Wish we had other options to go to but it's the only grocery store in 53km from here.
