So when I found a few obscure chips and goodies that I haven't seen in years, I went overboard. Then there were the toys for the grandkids, the knickknacks and a few clothing items we felt we needed. Couple that with the groceries and other household supplies we originally went there to buy and we might well be their new favourite customers. As you can imagine the staff are very welcoming and appreciative. They strike me as the type that always smile. What a wonderful thing. They do have a lot to smile about. A seemingly successful business, plenty of friends visiting, plus they provide a valuable service to the community. What we didn't buy this trip is on our list for next time! Our time in 100 mile House has ended. Thanks to Red Apple we have plenty of goods and foodstuffs for our venture to Whitehorse! 09/22

Menu comprised of daily soup, fresh baked banana bread and other bakery items with good collection of caffeinated drinks.

We also ran across a few very helpful individuals and one totally useless boob. It happens. Unfortunately, their meat department is screaming for help. The selections weren't there, some product was old and required rotation, but it just wasn't anywhere near where other meat producers are. They have good deals on certain items. Other than that, the prices are very high. Stick with the items on sale as much as possible. Maybe another grocer for your weekly staples. 09/22

Hey don't drive by! Stop in Hedley for a yummy break. Great…read morecoffee and baked goods that look locally made. Iced coffee was refreshing and kept me alert for the rest of the journey. Lovely ambiance especially inside with all sorts of curios. Outside are misters on those hot days. Hedley has quite a mining history. Visit the museum across the street. Grab a coffee and check out area. Chat with locals. Support these small town unique businesses so they don't disappear. Haven't you been to enough Starbucks already? ;)

The drive thru severely backed up, trash cans overflowing and people everywhere. We were here one hour from arrival to departure. The rush was handled incredibly well. The inside lines moved like an assembly line. Nobody lost their head. The whole place was docile, just digging the fellowship and enjoying the day. Henry Ford would have appreciated this well oiled machine. They even did a pretty good job keeping up with the bathrooms. We met several new friends here including a 30-year Tim's veteran with a Cowboy hat. She up-sold us on two coffee mugs, a half dozen donuts and coffee to brew at home, and we don't have a home!!!! They like to name their beer after hair colors....? Tasty nibbles without full meals and the location (parking lot) for their market every so often.
