Well, I have found some GREAT deals at this location. On my last visit I was purchasing some pants for my husband (who happened not to be there). I asked if they did not fit if I could exchange them. Well, the guy at the counter said "Just keep your receipt and make sure they have their original tags on it". What could be better than this, I am getting an awesome deal and if for some reason they don't work then I can bring them back. For the next part I am taking FULL responsibility. The pants did not fit and I needed to bring them back. Of course it takes me a few weeks (about a month). I pull into the lot and pull my receipt out. It states "7 day exchange policy. NO refunds". Seriously?? That would have been super helpful if they guy behind the counter had mentioned that part of the policy. So I figured since I was in the lot I would at least try to talk with them. This is the point were everything went down hill. I went in and the woman behind the counter mentioned they had new systems and that there was no way I could exchange them. But she said she would at least ask the manager. Awesome, thank you, I appreciate you for doing this. That was last part of this story that was awesome. Another woman came over I mentioned the story about how when I asked the cashier never mentioned the 7 day part. Then the manager Bob comes over. At which point it went more downhill. I explained my story to him and the second woman that I spoke up with said "All the employees know the policy and would have mentioned the 7 day part. So you are wrong telling us they never mentioned it." Okay, so that is as close as you get to calling me a liar in retail without using the term liar. I should also mention I was really cool during this process and was not yelling or upset. I said I only want to exchange for something else. I was told no way. After reading this you might say "Typical policy and why is girl complaining". I'm more upset about the way I was treated as a consumer than them actually not taking the pants back. Well after going on their website and reading up on their company values I can saw that I will never shop here again. And here is a direct quote: "Our Mission To provide our customers with the best selection and shopping experience of any thrift store in the world. Our Core Values Embrace honesty, integrity and ethics in all aspects of our business Provide benefits for our community through our charity alliances and recycling efforts Recognize that Team Members are the source of our success" Well, basically tell the customer they are lying does not fall in any of this. At this point I would rather shop at Kohls pay slightly more (after their discounts and coupons) for new items and have a way better exchange policy. Pretty sad when a store wants to lose a customer over $26, rather than letting them exchange them for something else in the store. read more

You can't go there thinking of getting a particular item. You go there browse through an assortment of stuff (new with tags to unusable junk with holes), and maybe find an item or more of something you think you can use. Some very low end things are over priced and you are better off getting them at the dollar store. However, some things are much less than you would buy somewhere else. Its like going to a giant yard sale. read more

I have purchased some items from this store, not the highest quality when you compare this store to the other savers, this one has a horrible smell, bad customer service, items are overpriced compared to the other savers stores, I purchased a bed covering here and it had bed bugs on as well as some items that I have purchased that did not function correctly and others were damaged, they do not accept returns here, you have to purchase something in order to have an "exchange", the cashiers most of the time don`t seem to know what they are doing, when it gets close to closing the store, they kick you out without giving a warning that the store is about to be closed, most of the employees have an attitude, and don`t know how to communicate, they randomly have items spread throughout the store, the drop off section of this store is worked by employees that literally don`t seem to care how they handle the stuff that is being donated, the manager of this store does not seem to care at all about the condition of the store, nor about the customers and the unnerving service that the employees provide. read more

I donated a very large bag of nice clothing. I asked if they give any discount coupons for donations and the guy made a bunch of punches on a discount card, which did not entitle me to any discounts without more donations or purchases. Gee thanks. I went into the store with a bag of returns. I asked if they did returns first before I shopped and they said they don't give refunds, just credit back. That would be fine so I spent the next hour choosing enough stuff from their sorry stock of items to cover the value of the returns. I stand in line for a long time (no one seems to be in hurry when it comes to checking out customers) and when I get up the cashier he said he would only be able to give me credit for the pants I had a receipt for. The expensive blazers could not be returned because I didn't have a receipt. So that is the LAST time I will donate there and will never buy clothing there again. read more

On top of Savers being one of the worst companies in the country, they are also the worst place to shop and donate. You think you're doing good by donating here but in fact the corporation pays pennies to the nonprofit partners for the donations its such a joke, they make themselves out to be this company that improves the lives of so many but it is truly not the case. Then they say they recycle that another joke, the recycling program is to send it to developing nations where it can be sold for profit. And 90 % of what they cant sell they just throw out in the dumpster in the back. This store in particular is horribly managed, they wonder why they have no staff its because no one wants to work for the condescending pompous manager. All they care about is revenue which is why all employees are required to work on all holidays. This store is also extremity overpriced, over packed, and never cleaned. Just going into the parking lot you can see that it is littered with debris. most of the items in the store are either broken or over priced, don't try to bring anything to the store manager whose name by the way is Chris, I've tried to have multiple conversations with him and all he does is disrespect me and huff and puff around. Savers, do yourself a favor, stop lying to your customers and find new management for the Framingham store, you've lost an incredibly loyal shopper who will never stop into your store again, Sister Thrift is right done the street and the service, quality, and prices there are much better read more

Savers is remarkable really. It's the Mac daddy of thrift stores. Macklemore would love this place. ;) On a serious note though, I have found some amazing deals here. If you don't mind weeding through a lot of duds, you may stumble upon a real gem. Kind of like dating. I would say I find something I really like at a steal of a price probably 50% of the time. I think the odds are better for the ladies since they have much more inventory in ladies clothes. I've found Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, and several other upscale brands here. Just be sure to check the item over carefully before buying as most sales here are final. They'll also give you a nice discount coupon if you donate some unwanted items. I've even found brand new items with the original tags still on. They have a great selection of clothes, decent selection of books and games. The furniture selection is pretty bad though. Oh, and if you sign up for a membership they have 50% off weekends for members a few times a year. read more

Savers is good if you are on a budget but beware of what they sell and their return policy is horrible. They sell a lot of crap. Also, there is NO customer service. You will NEVER hear I'm sorry." I bought a shirt and noticed a rip in it. Brought it back the next day...no refund, no store credit...I had to exchange it for something right then. I had 7 days but was leaving town for 2 weeks so I was out. I will never recommend or shop at Savers again. read more

This is a thrift store, so don't go in expecting that everything will be brand new and perfect. I don't know if they are a consignment store or not? But they sell used clothing for a fraction of the price you would pay new. It can get pretty busy in here, and a little messy, but a great place esp. for kid's clothes. They have a good turnover of items, so if you want something grab it when you see it, because it probably won't be there when you go back. It does take me a long time to go through everything, but if you don't mind pawing through some items to get a bargain you should go! read more
