I find cool stuff here all the time. My son and I had a lot of fun browsing and buying neat finds. I have a few cool shirts I found here. Nerf wars made possible by their surmounting supply, but ammunition we grabbed on amazon. The aftermarket amazon nerf bullets had hardened tips, negative reviews from upset mothers finding welts on their children and I can attest to the hardened tip making too much of a difference, but those are on amazon- the nerf weaponry get here at Savers. This store is so or miss. I seriously think the people who mark the prices are on Crack. Most of this stuff is garage sale cast offs or crap that didn't sell. Rummaging through records and most are not in the correct album or scratched and they want $2.99 for it. The store is also dirty. There is a lot of garbage outside in the lot too. 2 days ago I purchased a box labeled air fryer, that was sealed as if it came from the factory. It was displayed in kitchen electronics, and the receipt read kitchen appliance. It was a high ticket item at $50. I got it home cut it open and inside were an worn baby blanket, odds and ends plastic cups, a couple 1970's cook books, and some old clothes. Shocked and angry that the staff didn't even check the contents of the box when it was dropped off, I made a call and was told they couldn't do anything. Today I hauled it back to show the MOD what the situation was. I was told I couldn't get a refund, or credit for the store. She told me I should donate it back to the store. She also said I should have checked the contents in the store. In what store are you allowed to slice a box open and pull out the contents?? As a senior citizen on a small fixed income When i need a gift or something for myself or my home I almost have to shop at places like this. Sorry Savers, you failed miserably! read more

I'm a serial thrifter. To the point that I never buy retail. Savers is do overpriced, that I am only compelled to shop there when they have 50% off sales. Even then, you may be paying more than what GW charges. Some examples of cost comparisons: Books: books are often 2.99-3.99 each. GW charges 1.99 and Wacosa charges $1.00. Clothing: A name brand shirt that woukd cost 5.99-7.99 at GW will often run $12.99-16.99 at Savers. Electronics: I frequently buy Nintendo Wii systems at thrifts stores. I never pay more than $10 for a system. I frequently see them listed from $24.99-49.99 at Savers. Hardlines: A Fiestaware teacup will set you back $1.99 at GW. They are $3.99 at Savers The pricing structure is INSANE. Strengths: There is always a lot of inventory. The staff is really friendly. Recommendations: Buy Value Connection coupons when they are on sale. read more

Prices are way overpriced. $7.00 for a used cami for a toddler! I had my granddaughter with me and she really needed clothes. So we bought things even with the high prices. First they took our cart when we were in the bathroom and put it all back. Then we went up with our coupon and they have a limit of saving $20. Same goes for senior day apparently. You only get the discount up to $20.00. At their prices that doesn't go far. Also the area with furniture, electronics, nicknacks was full of mold! I was having a hard time breathing and I broke out in hives all over. The store is well organized and parking was easy. Other then that it was a very frustrating experience. read more

Big selection. Most of the stuff is actually in great shape. Decent prices on most of it.. some things are a bit overpriced, but just pay attention to what you're getting and it's not a problem. My favorite score from this store: a vintage Prince tshirt that is older than I am. It was in great shape when I bought it five years ago and it's still great now. I used to shop here all the time and would have given it 5 stars, Prices were more than say a Goodwill, but still a great bargain. However, I just went in on Saturday, June 16th and I couldn't believe the prices. There were several items that I found on their shelves marked $1.99 that were items originally purchased from the Dollar Tree stores for only $1. Why would I pay double for something used? T-shirts and shirts were between 6 and 10 dollars and I know it's probably still cheaper than retail, but not by much. If I'm going to spend that much on a shirt I'll watch for good sales and get something brand new. Very disappointed in the price hikes. While I was there I was chatting with another customer, who also mentioned how much the prices have gone up. I don't think I'll be back. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE. Cali was the girl who checked me and my friend out and she was so rude to us, we couldn't believe it. We were buying plates and other kitchenware for a DIY and nearly everything we brought up she claimed was part of a "set" and was trying to get us to pay more and buy the whole "set". We ended up leaving half of the stuff because the prices were absurd. 0/10 don't recommend. read more

For a secondhand store, everything's in great shape, and variety is excellent. Also, everything is sorted out--nobody does that in secondhand stores! The employees are hit-or-miss. Some of them are incredibly helpful, some are the worst of the worst crop of teenagers. Prices are pretty steep considering they sell secondhand items, but as I said, it's all in pretty good shape. A great place to find a deal. I've once found real, printed in the USSR, Soviet Propaganda. How's that for a find? I'd love to meet the original owner. The place smells like an old person's house, but that's fine when you're able to find old NES games from your childhood or working film projectors. My only beef is that the prices are sort of steep considering they're donations (from what I know). I paid $1.99 for a book today. While it was $7.99 list, it was a bit beat up and I bet I could get it at a yard sale for fifty cents. Oh well. Small price to pay, I suppose. read more

I have and still do shop there a bit but pricing for electronics is all over the place now that you can get way better deals at other thrift stores, and even pawn america which is saying a lot. I think they just mark high and hope someone buys it at the price and either mark it down after a few months or just toss it. Who in their right mind would pay 40-50 bucks for a Pentium 4 based computer tower that's all beat up or 80 bucks for a core2duo. Someone need to explain to the person pricing the computers that they hold their value as well as day old bananas. 5 years ago those prices would have been fine, but most shops now are either trying to just give those away or scrapping them and core2duo systems go for $25-35, not $70-80. I picked up a 2013 quad core laptop with missing HDD at pawn america for 50 bucks, same day I was at savers and they had this beat up Pentium m dell laptop full of stickers and dirt and missing power supply for $40. Who in there right mind would spend that much on that. Same goes for video game stuff. xbox 360s at pawn america start at about 25 bucks (slim models), where as the most beat up parts machine that obvious had the RROD in the past (original model with the tab holes in the back all bent up from some kid using a screw driver to pry at it) for $30. Same goes for video games as you can find better deals just about anywhere that sells used games besides gamestop. Because of this I usually go in look around and leave without buying anything now, which is kinda sad as I use to prefer this store over all the other thrift stores in the area. read more

Great prices on what was purchased! Large selection. Cordial staff. Lot of clothes but also had other items such as furniture/household/toys/etc. Clean store overall. For it being a large store it was nice to see multiple paint colors on the walls not just one plain color. Checkout time was good/not to long. First off, it's huge and it will take a long time to go through the store, providing you are serious about finding some good stuff. They provide shopping carts and fitting rooms (though there aren't many fitting rooms and they are quite small).
