Came to a sale this past weekend and was pretty shocked at the unreasonable pricing on nearly everything in the house in question. As an example: Lily Pulitzer dresses priced at $20 each, when a resale shop would easily put them at $10. Was also there at the second half of the *last* day of the sale, yet Ms. Gledhill was deeply uninterested in making any kind of deals or accepting offers. I noted that a woman was interested in an extremely large and heavy hanging bell that was sitting unpriced in the basement, for which Ms. Gledhill wanted $50. When the woman said that seemed like too much, Ms. Gledhill copped quite an unprofessional attitude in her expression of disinterest in negotiating. I also must say I was shocked at Ms. Gledhill's attire. If this is meant to be an upscale estate sale agency, you would not have surmised this by her manner of dress; she seemed as if she had just come from a yoga class, and not like someone present and representing a classy agency looking to help turn over high end estates. At the same time, it seemed like there were many higher value items whose prices had been overlooked, so ironically I bought an epensive blazer and an vintage sweater for $5 each. If I was the *seller*, I would be quite irritated to know this. Based on what I observed as a *buyer*, I would not suggest turning to this agency for your estate sale needs.

I've been a customer for over 4 years as a buyer, and they make it easy for the buyer to get great items. I prefer online auctions, and their photos are always top notch with excellent titles that are always exactly what the item is. They include photos that show everything - especially any chips or imperfections and measurements. That's more than the majority of eBay sellers do! This means they get top dollar for the items, because if it looks perfect you know it is! I do a lot of research, so I have gotten items for a great price that others didn't realize were valuable, but I'm always happy with the price I paid and I know that the estate is making good money, too! They give a 4 hour window for pickup, every lot is clearly numbered, and my pickups (over 50 - sometimes I go to 2 houses on both Sat and Sun!) may take a while because I buy so much, but I'm never made to feel rushed (I get there at least an hour before the ending time so I don't make them stay longer than the stated time - that's just being a good person and not a Karen) and they always go smoothly! I don't usually buy heavy items or furniture because I'm by myself, but I have brought friends to help with a wicker sofa and chairs, as it's always clearly stated it's the customers responsibility to pack and carry their own items. That's true of all in person estate sales and online pickups. I've become a reseller in the last year, and I will continue to keep bidding! Everyone that works there is respectful, organized, and efficient. From Michelle (one of the owners), to Robin, Mel, Judy, Amanda, Jen, Jess, Michael, Bill, Gloria, and others that I forgot their names (sorry!), their team is my favorite! They learned my name after just a few times, which has always impressed me. I recommend them to literally everyone I meet, and there are a few estate sale companies that I will never go to in person or buy from online again- so I'm picky!

The young guy allowed us to really inspect all they had to try to get a few more boxes needed to finish our floor. He even went so far as to look up inventory at the nearby Home Depot store. We got so lucky because of him and can complete our floor. Don't know what we would have done without his help. I'm so thankful.
