My family has been going to Savioli's for as long as I can remember. They are the BEST fresh ravioli in North Jersey and I have gone so far as to drive up to Franklin to check out that store also -- which is amazing. I love the place in Garfield as it is a little garage in the back of the guys house. He makes everything fresh (except the exotic ones) and with top quality ingredients. Very disappointed. Born & raised in Elmwood Park since 1971 & loved these Ravs. Bought today (10/5/12) in Franklin NJ (Sister Store) and 2 questions; "wheres the beef" & "wheres the cheese"? There use to be more filling in them, No Doubt About it. I understand recession but come on; charge a lil more & go back to the way they were. I will give it 1 more shot before Christmas, however if they r flat with no filling again you have lost a life long customer & I'll have to settle for Harrison Ave! Small place tucked into a shopping plaza, easy to miss, but make sure you dont! Known for their ravioli, hence the name, but also make amazing Italian sandwiches on the best semolina bread you'll get outside of NYC. Sandwiches are made perfectly and consistently. They weigh out the meat and cheese to the perfect portions so it's not a ripoff and also just not an overbearing mound. Toppings they use are very fresh and you can tell. All around great sandwich. While you're there grab up dinner, some ravioli and vodka sauce, and why not grab another loaf of bread for dipping. Personally, I find the crab ravioli to be the best, but honestly, it's all good. Staff is very nice and I always see the same faces everytime, one of which is the owner. Don't pass this place up, you'll be missing out! read more

The best fresh made ravioli in North Jersey bar none. Savioli's Ravioli (yes, that is the owner's real last name) sells ravioli with traditional fillings like meat and cheese. These are typically available freshly made 25 to a box. They are smallish 1.5" squares so a family of four could eat almost a hundred ($12) for dinner.... seriously. On the exotic side they also offer fillings like lobster, shrimp, eggplant, spinach and smoked mozzarella with sun-dried tomato and a primavera ravioli. These are usually only available in the cold case frozen and cost a little more. My friends and family prefer the standard meat ravioli to all the others. This site is a traditional Italian deli with any sauces, cheese, bread, etc. you may need to finish the meal. Note: Savioli's Original North Jersey Ravioli still operates on 65 Pacific Avenue in Garfield, NJ, but there is no deli at that store... just ravioli. read more

Happened to be working in Franklin and stopped in Savioli's for lunch. I'm a vegan so was looking for vegan food for lunch. No luck, but they did have frozen vegan ravioli.
