It's been said that laughter is the best medicine. I showed up to John's practice with both runner's knee and a rotator cuff injury- and only about 5 weeks of time for PT sessions before heading out of town for an extended trip- and John was clearly committed to progressing me through recovery as quickly as my body was able to adapt so that I would be on a solid foundation for continue recovery after I was no longer able to work with him directly. Importantly, John Mittlebrun is a listener. The questions he worked through during my initial knee and rotator cuff assessments and then follow-on PT visits demonstrated that he was clearly paying attention to me, my body's incremental limits, and my body's progression through recovery. He helped me understand the balance between pushing up to the point of pain vs pushing through pain, the importance of consistency over perfection, and to trust the process even when patience is difficult. After five weeks of working with John, I'm now cautiously getting back to running and swimming; both of which are huge physical and mental achievements. His care and attention have truly set me up for sustained physical endurance to continue the sports and hobbies I care about for my physical and mental health, in addition to living each day feeling mobile, strong, and healthy. I so appreciated their attention to detail and them explaining to me what was happening as Mom's body began to shut down. Even when Mom was sleeping and unresponsive, I would show up to find a hospice nurse or their dear chaplain in the room with her, caring for her. They still reach out to me to see how the family is doing now that she is gone. It was absolutely the right decision to have them involved in helping us keep Mom feeling as comfortable as possible and safe and loved during this difficult time. We were highly satisfied! ~D

First, the staff is pleasant. They greet you when you walk in and the place looks like home rather than a cold sterile Doctors Office. I was greeted twice and taken into a room right on time. I think they are careful not to overscheduled people which I really appreciate. The MA was kind and cheerful and very personable. She took my vitals and did the preliminary questions. Next came the PA, who sat and listened to my story, asked questions and took her time. That was extraordinary. She was thorough and easy to talk to. I've been back several times and each has been a great experience. Staff always is at the ready and completely professional to deal with. In a world where everything's become do it yourself, hands off and very sterile, have a new health is a breath of fresh air. Outstanding.
