Words cannot describe how unbelievably PISSED OFF I am with this place, I've had to stop myself…read morefrom calling them multiple times to tear them a new one. My partner set up an online appointment last week with "Lisa" for a 5PM showing for yesterday (5/13/21) via email, I drove all of the way from Metamora (nearly 80 miles, AN HOUR AND A HALF DRIVE) for them to tell us that "Lisa" is their "automated assistant" (AKA not a real person) and that they actually have ZERO units to tour, ZERO units available, and they "hope" that they will have some available come summertime. Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that they literally sent us A CONFIRMATION TEXT to "confirm our in-person appointment at 5PM" the day before, I would have laughed it off and told my boyfriend he should have called to speak with someone instead of emailing. BUT WE LITERALLY GOT A CONFIRMATION TEXT THE DAY BEFORE OUR APPOINTMENT? Wtf is the point of having an automated system if you're not even going to use it? The ladies sounded so nonchalant about the inconvenience when my boyfriend called, like they couldn't care less that we showed up for an appointment that didn't exist. That is, up until we told them how FAR we drove to come to this appointment, THEN they were all worried and apologetic. But if we lived 10 minutes down the road, you wouldn't have cared? Thank you so, so much for the huuuuuuuuge fucking waste of my time, gas money, and mileage on my car! Guess it's a good thing we didn't end up renting here, because clearly the staff has 0 clue what the fuck is going on and don't even bother to check their email.

If you live here , or are thinking about it, some words of advice:…read more -DOCUMENT EVERYTHING-! When you move in, take pictures! (They will charge you whatever they can when you move out, including $2 a nail hole for hanging up pictures.) If there's some mold growing in your basement from a leak in the wall. Don't worry, you'll be reassured that you can bleach that yourself. Be careful of paying your rent online. It's not 100%. It will say your rent has been received, but you'll find out they weren't actually taking it. Better just take a check in to the office (IF it's open). The office manager is Calise Pratt.Be careful talking anything private with Calise. She doesn't understand the concept of being a professional as she enjoys gossiping about the residents there and is extremely condescending. After you pay your rent, make sure you get your receipt. Calise sometimes loses rent, and then will charge you a late fee. She will try to cover herself by having you come into her office to help her "look", and then talk down to you the entire time. This is a fun waste of time because at this point, she's already lost it. (Don't bother talking to her manager about anything either, she honestly doesn't have a clue how to do her job either.) When you move out, make sure you document WHEN you move out. Get written proof that you turned your keys in. Otherwise Calise will write up a fraudulent itemized damages report. Fun fact! She doesn't actually know how to write up an itemized damages report, but will try to make it look like you moved out a whole two months after you did by writing up a bunch of random dates and numbers. Your total damages might not even make sense after you've added and subtracted all those numbers. Don't worry! When you ask for clarification, she will have it sent to a debt collection agency who will demand you pay it! But since you were smart, you have proof you moved out two months earlier. Remember, MI law states itemized damages must be received within THIRTY (30) days AFTER you move out! You can send that to their attorney, and they will mail you back your deposit. Good luck out there!
