They have lots of information about Bedford and the surrounding areas. They sell lots of local produce (eg honey and beer) as well as selling tickets for local events and train tickets. I recommend this place wholeheartedly for train tickets! From Bedford to Brighton (although you can stop anywhere on that line e.g London) return costs just £12.50 - these are only available from this centre. All the staff are very helpful here although they only have a small number of staff which makes the wait a little long when it's busy!

Booked through Omegaflightstore only to discover later that the flight actually booked back was 10 January instead of 3 January. No refund on flight. BA refunded additional baggage costs made with them with no charge and advised I was entitled to a refund of taxes from the travel agent. Total taxes paid were over £80 so worth retrieving. After phone calls and emails Omega told me I was indeed entitled to the tax refunds, however their 'fee' for this was £50 per person - a total of £100 to refund £80! This 'fee' might well be buried somewhere in Omega's acres of Terms and Conditions, however you can make your own mind up if you think this is even remotely reasonable. Certainly I will never use Omega again and I will be advising all I know not to as well.
