Came in for a fill and gel pedi. Gel pedi took well over an hour for the most basic gel pedi they had. While getting my pedi, one employee was sitting in the pedi chairs, chatting away with another employee and digging in her feet with her hands right next to another customer - who was taking photos and texting them to someone. Can't say I blame her. That customer left and now a male employee sat down in the pedi chair next to me and started eating something, which is totally fine except he was smacking and chewing loudly so it was impossible to relax. After my pedi, she rang me up and I left - they never mentioned the fill and by this point, I just wanted to get out of there anyway. Basic gel Pedi and tip (they do look nice) was $72! And now still have to find somewhere else for my fill. read more

Got my nails done today. Really upset I didn't say something before I left. I paid $90 for a full set. I did add chrome dust but he didn't even touch my cuticles. Every nail looks different, and there's little white specks all over the nails. He barely spoke to me while I was there. What's so "savvy" about this establishment when they're serving up racially-misandrist service? My partner and I walked in seeking services, and the Asian woman present asked, "How can I help you?" I replied, "Gel manicure, please." She responded, "There are no openings today, maybe come back tomorrow." Her response caught me off guard since there were only two people in the shop at the time. I followed up, saying, "This is odd, considering there's no one here, and your website states walk-ins are welcome." It became clear that Black male customers aren't welcome to just walk in. For confirmation, I decided to call the shop a few minutes after leaving. The same woman who turned me away answered the phone very politely. When I asked about walk-ins, she replied, "Yes, we can get you in at 5:30." This was a blatant act of discrimination! This is an awful place I never write a bad review but after how I was treated yesterday by Tom was unacceptable, he took me for a dip nail. rush me to get a color yes I'm a little indecisive I could not find the right pink took me like two minutes to figured out he got pissed he was waiting for another customer he told me to rush so he can move on to another customer I told him I don't like to be rush I said if u don't have the right time with me why would you take my service he got pissed, then he hurt my nail so bad i screamed he did not like that he pinched a nerve how was I not suppose to scream he got up and left the table he said I'm done I was like perfect I'm done too. The service was not done but I was done with his attitude I paid for his service no tip. They have a bad attitude and bad reviews I was surprised to see that many bad reviews. Savvy Nails and Amy's Nails are owned and operated by the same people. Amy owns them; Nick manages; and a guy named Tom is the most fluent in English (he also lacks professionalism unless you're a regular or someone he finds attractive) otherwise he will speak out of place and turn. He is young and unprofessional lacking the skills and ability to remain calm and non combative. Nick is a reasonable, professional, knowledgeable and communicative manager who has his hands full running things for Amy. If you look back at a review I left on Amy's Nails you will have an idea of this review. During the time I was dealing with this issue at Amy's Nails-- I called Savvy nails where I learned what I just wrote above basically. Nick was helpful in fitting me in right away at Savvy and he did a very good job on my nails: save one burn to my right pinkie cuticle. When I returned for a third time overall my service was not as good and I was charged $5 more. I personally don't care to speculate as to how or what created this change. Lip service and inconsistency. A false representation of professional care revealed in the third attempt to finalize my perspective of both these nail salons. The combative nature that Amy and Tom have as well as a feeling that you're paying too much for not enough... Leaves me suggesting that a new salon open soon in the area not owned by Amy. But maybe Nick. He may be the best overall and have the most potential for success. read more

I went to have my acrylic nails removed and left bleeding. I wish I had spoken up, but I needed them off, and they were the only place in town I could get in quickly. Most places will soak and file off your nails, so it doesn't destroy your nail bed and cause pain. I had my nails ripped off with a paint scraper that artists use. It was placed between my nail and the acrylic and jammed in there to remove them. At one point, this sharp paint tool slipped and cut underneath my nail, and I left bleeding. And then had the audacity to charge me $20??? It was ten minutes of pure pain, and no supplies were used other than a tool that looks like it doesn't even belong in a nail salon. It's been 30 minutes since I left, and my nails are still in pain. It would have taken 10 extra minutes to do it the correct way, and if they didn't have time, they could have said so. I hope they deeply reconsider their standards and provide customers with the proper way to do things. read more

I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. I was not happy with the treatment. I was in and out in one hour but paid the full price for terrible service, rudeness,was told to hurry and had to ask if I could take my coat off. I have never been treated so badly. I just paid $70 for a deluxe pedicure. He barely did anything as far as massage, etc. Then I left with SUPER clumpy polish, no topcoat on one toe and paint on my skin. This establishment doesn't deserve one star. The woman Julie that runs/owns this place is unprofessional. The technician kept cutting me with the drill. The polish was bubbled and distorted. I planned on speaking with her discreetly as there were other customers getting services. All she was concerned about was getting paid and not correcting the crap job they did. Me and my mom went here and the 2 guys who did our nails were so nice! They were really funny and did a great job. My mom got a pedicure and I got a Mani-Pedi and when I tell you...my nails were absolutely divine. I got red almonds and I swear they look like they are worth over $500. The woman who answers the phone is so rude. It was hard to sit and listen to her belittle her customers. What should have been a relaxing pamper session was ruined by overhearing how she treats paying customers. The set of nails I got was fine, the nail tech didn't file my cuticles enough before applying my dip and now I have nails that are too thick at the cuticle line pulling my hair. Overall not the best experience. I won't be back. I upgraded to the luxe/premium pedicure and the nail tech didn't cut my cuticles or scrape under my toes. My toes had bubbles and were so uneven. I asked her if there was anything she could do about the bubbles and she redid my big toes and finally did my cuticles on only my big toes. They still don't look good. I will never come back. Had my nails filed down to the bone here- It was horrible! Just left my regular place ( my person was on vacay) so went to Savvy's. It was horrible under the dip- my girl gasped at all the nail bed damage- it was so bad we had to use a darker color to cover up the deep purple gouges that she drilled into my nail bed- This woman was abusive, when I pulled away or said that hurts- she would pull my hand to her sharply. Finally the owner comes over- I guess to check out the problem- I told her what a horrible job it was and all the damage- the owner said "she do you nails! You pay". Then blocked the front door until I paid 62.00 for the torture. We drove 45 mins away for our appointment at 11:30am on Friday. When we arrived they told us we didn't have an appointment, she booked it for the wrong day on Saturday.
