The 30 minute bath in the private room was quite nice. I appreciated the ambience set by the music, dim lights, and flickering candles. There were towels in the room for me as well as a large bottle or water with cups, and a bowl of ice with a towel which I used for my face and neck. The tub was quite nice and roomy for 1 since I did the tub alone, but could definitely fit a second person. The caves were such a unique transcendent experience! What a natural phenomenon! I loved this experience. There were multiple "rooms" and areas in the cave which had varying temperatures as well as a shower to help keep cool. Between visits to the cave there was a nice indoor space to relax as well as an outdoor space (which was pretty bare bones and had traffic noise nobody was using the outdoor space). It was nice that there was no shortage of towels or cool water. There were other visitors, but it never felt crowded. The experience is definitely on the rustic side, but I don't think that's a bad thing just something to note to set expectations.

My friend and I booked two tubs in one room and it was private but yet fun. We were able to relax and chat as much as we wanted and just have our own space. Now to my favorite part and let me start by saying I almost don't want to share this but she was amazing and by all means I am not trying to offend anyone with my post and what I am about to say is politically incorrect but you have to understand I was amazed and blown away. Hilda performed my massage and I feel like she is a witch doctor/ goddess again, nothing but respect!! I always get a deep tissue massage every where else and she is the first masseuse to provide a massage that I don't wake up the next day with pain or bruising. I have never been able to relax the way I did during my session. She knew exactly what pressure points and areas to focus on. She literally had me drooling and I fell asleep and I have never done that and the only way I woke up was because I caught myself snoring and moaning. I know I sound like a wacko but trust me Hilda is amazing!!!!! Thank you so much Hilda. You definitely took away my pain and made me relax in which I could never do before or do during a massage which is the purpose but you are truly an expert and I left raving about you to my friend the rest of the trip.

By the way, at the start when she asked if I wanted 'medium' or 'strong' and I'm glad I swallowed my pride and said 'medium'. I don't know how a 100-lb person can get the level of pressure she did. Back, calves, legs, everything felt it the next day but in a good way.

Everything was addressed and then some! I turned into Jello after the session and headed to the hot tub. The pine trees and Bavarian influenced architecture really stood out and totally enveloped me. After the hot tub, I sat in the salt room. Wasn't much in there but the salt blocks and calming music set an even flowing temperament for the remainder of the spa day. Highly highly recommended. If we could, I would've chosen to stay for an evening. Loved the experience and enjoyed it all!

The Watsu treatment with Susan was truly amazing! If you want an experience of total weightlessness and relaxation- this treatment is for you. It incorporates stretching, rocking, floating, and massage in a warm relaxing pool. It was a total mind, spirit and body experience. I also highly recommend this spa. It's a lovely little house, quiet and serene. The business is family owned and run. Everyone there is very friendly, kind, and helpful. I have tried many of their services and found them to be consistently good. I have had a massage and facial with Ruth, which was wonderful. She has a very nurturing and kind spirit that comes through her Work. I have tried the ashiatsu massage with Susan and that was a great experience as well. For a Day Spa, this is it! It's Cozy, it's clean, their therapists are extremely qualified. We went here for my fiance's 1st ever massage. We had a couple's massage. He's hooked now. I bought a package of multiple treatments. Loved it. the only treatment I haven't done there is the WATSU water treatment. .....I'm saving it for this summer. Quality therapists, cozy environment, great teas to sip while waiting or at the end of your treatment. Nice selection of gifts to purchase for friends. I 10000% recommend Splendor mountain spa. I love them. I've gone a few times for various treatments, but today I went for a brush treatment and 60 minute massage, and it was hands down the best massage I've ever had. Christine was incredible, kind, and knew exactly which pressure to use based from my body's response, not from asking me numerous questions during. Heck she even took extra care of areas that I have issues in, without my mentioning anything. I've never dozed off during a massage before, but today I did, several times. This place is amazing! Susan is very knowledgeable about her craft. She is the owner and also a Watsu aquatic massage therapist. I had never experienced Watsu but had heard about it and was very curious. I am so glad I decided to go with this modality. It felt amazing! I enjoyed it so much I had to book and appointment for my partner to try it as well. Since I booked Watsu for him, I figured I should go ahead and get another massage.
