Instead they decided to give us purple tinted flowers with the arrangement. I called after they delivered it the morning of and said this is NOT what we ordered or paid for? They said they ran out of flowers to do what we ordered, but to email with a confirmation of my order and they'd give me money back (I never heard back from them) they should truly call and make sure about any changes to an arrangement especially when knowing they are ones for something so important and sensitive. They didn't seem to care one bit. So I wouldn't recommend them for special occasions. I called Say It With Flowers on a Friday afternoon asking if they had any corsages available as our four year old had a daddy-daughter gala the next day. The person over the phone was so kind and explained that the traditional corsages were $50 but since it was just for my four year old she could create one with a carnation and baby roses for less. In that moment I could tell she cared about me as a person more than just making a sale. I had the option to get either but I feel like most places aren't as intentional. In that moment, even though I had never met the person over the phone I trusted her and knew that she would do a great job! I let her know my daughter's dress had pearl accents and asked if there was any way to add pearls to it that it would be appreciated. She said no problem and that she could have it made for us in time for the daddy-daughter gala. I took my daughter to pick it up from the shop on Saturday morning and the moment we walked in we were greeted kindly and it was time for the big reveal! The flowers were delivered but not the balloons. I called the florist and she confirmed the balloons was supposed to be delivered. She proceeded to say my son can call 1-800-flowers to get his refund that this florist doesn't give refunds. They don't do that service because the money was wired. PSA: I NEVER write reviews this long, but I think this one requires the whole story. Not impressed. I ordered these flowers for my mom for her birthday from Say It With Flowers. I decided to call and order directly from the florist instead of ordering online because from experience, when you order online it's through a 3rd party, and the flowers aren't exactly what you think they are going to be. While ordering I spoke with two different ladies who assured me that I would be getting 12 roses for the $75 price and that the $65 price was for 6 and the $90 price was for 18 roses. They also informed me that in the photo online the filler was something they didn't have in stock because it was seasonal, but they would gladly replace it with WHITE hydrangeas instead to make it pop with the orange roses. I was excited because orange roses are my moms favorite and since I couldn't drive 3 hours south to see her for her birthday, I knew she would be thrilled that I sent her favorite roses. On the morning of her birthday I called the florist to let them know that my mom wouldn't be home till around 3:30, so if they could deliver later in the day that was ideal. They cheerfully said that was perfect and that they would get them to her around 5-6pm which I agreed would work. I paid a $15 delivery fee and the florist sent the roses home with a worker who lived near my mom. I wasn't upset about that, but I was upset that she didn't receive them on her birthday around 5-6 as promised. My parents are having an elevator installed at their house and the front door is no longer in working condition to get to the second level of the house. My mom put a sign on the door for guests to come around to the back so everyone would know that they couldn't hear the bell from the front door. With that being said, I talked to my mom around 5pm, and she was definitely home for the night at this point. The lady who was delivering the flowers was said to have been there around 6:45-7:00 but never went around back and only called and left a message on my mom's phone. I don't know about you guys, but I screen my phone calls and if there's no message I don't call back. My mom was unaware that someone had called and left a message until around 9 and decided that at that point, there was no point. She received them the next morning on the lady's way to work around 8am. My mom sent me a photo and a heartfelt message about how much she loved them, (((she obviously didn't know what she was receiving or what they were suppose to look like)))but I wasn't impressed. While the roses looked pretty, there was only 7 roses when I paid for 12 and the hydrangeas were green! There was wayyyy to much green in this Bouquet for anyone's liking and it was definitely NOT worth the $75.00+ $15.00 delivery fee that was pointless because she didn't receive them on her actual birthday. I called and let them know that I was disappointed, especially since I called and talked to two different people involved in making this bouquet and they assured me that I would be getting what I asked for. The owner wasn't very friendly about the situation and offered me $25 off since she didn't get 12 roses I paid for, but refused to waive the $15 delivery fee even though it wasn't delivered as promised. Sooo I guess, use this florist at your own risk. I unfortunately don't plan on using them again. read more

I had two experiences with the Say it with Flowers located in Cape FL. Both was in store orders with delivery. The first was during 11/2023, the store was installing a new credit card swipe hardware, since it was operating properly, the clerk wrote down the credit card and other information and manually typed the data in the keyboard. Two hours later I received two charges indicating the the card was not presented at the time of sale, a $39 charge from Chick Fila, and a 74 charge from Walmart. On 2/12 I purchased a dozen red roses for delivery on Valentine's Day, I was told the flowers would be delivered by 4:00PM. I validated the time at 12:30 on 2/14/2024 and was disconnecting after waiting on hold for 15 minutes. I redialed again and was told the flowers should be delivered within 2 hours. Three hours at 4:00pm, I called again and was told after the typical " I am sorry" that they will rush the delivery now. I live 8 miles from the store. I call at 6:00pm and was told the delivery truck left 20 minutes ago. At 7:15PM the flowers have yet to be delivered and no one answer their telephone. I guess this company practices in fraudulent behavior and have no problem lying and scamming customers. FYI the flowers were finally delivered at 7:51PM, however, I indirectly found out that that the flowers were not picked up for delivery until 7:00, 1 hour and twenty minutes after they told me that the flowers were out for delivery. What good was the order, it is like delivering wedding flowers 5 hours after the ceremony and they destroyed the surprise I had in line for my wife. read more

My Panamanian wife (Latin/black) was hired back in may to work for Barbra to make arrangements. after 2 weeks Barbra paid her 10.00 per hour with a company check and did not take out any taxes . So home coming comes up and holidays around the corner Barbra calls and schedules my wife again a few days for the next few weeks . one of the days she wants her to work my wife had to go to immigration . Keep in mind she is legal ,with a SS Number . So the next day after her appointment Barbra says to my wife (so your illegal ) my wife replies no i am not . Barbra replies hahaha I am just teasing . So Barbra puts her to clean for two days the entire back room and then has the gall to tell the she can not pay her the 10.00 per hour any more only 9.00 my wife comes home totally upset in tears and tells me the story ,so I called Barbra and explained that my wife is not illegal and she can not treat another human being like this . I asked her to apologize and give her the correct paperwork to pay taxes . Did she apologize ???? hell no , and gives her a w-9 form to cover her ass , unfortunately she should have given her a w-4 form (this is the correct one) The truth of the matter is Barbra tried to take advantage of my wife thinking that she is illegal . I can only stand up for my wife and see that this never happens to another Latin or black person . This is totally unacceptable and discriminatory in my opinion. I will follow the legal process from here on out and teach this Latin to stand up proud and never let anything like this to happen again. read more

I ordered flowers for a sick friend who was recovering at home. I ordered them on Wednesday. On Thursday night I received an email confirming delivery. On Friday my friend mentioned that she did not receive anything. I called the Florist and they took a message and said someone would get back to me. An hour later I called again, spoke with someone named Sabrina who apologized and stated she would make it up to me by adding more flowers and and "the large box of chocolates" to my order.
