Michelle has a variety of resume templates that are customized based on your experiences and type of job you are looking for. She reformatted my resume to make it easier to read. It made a HUGE difference & more recruiters started reaching out to me. As I started getting interviews, Michelle helped me simplify my answers so they are more understandable for non-tech people. When I ran into obstacles, Michelle taught me to maintain a positive mindset & remain patient with the process. Rejection is re-direction!! Amid the ongoing pandemic, I started my first job in the corporate world at home. This wasn't the ideal situation but Michelle tried to make my transition as smooth as possible. She is a great listener and always validates my thoughts. Other people I've spoken to about my work problems always gives me generic advice. But Michelle truly understands what I'm going through and gives me advice based my situation. She constantly reminds to be less harsh on myself & take things one step at a time :)

And it felt like fate when I opened up my LinkedIn for the first time in months and saw her post about her coaching services. I cannot stress this enough. Michelle changed my life. Working with her completely changed my outlook on work, career, and myself. I feel that I now have direction, motivation, and goals. I have a set path that I am so excited to pursue. Michelle helped me discover what I am most passionate about and gave me the confidence to go after what I want to achieve. I can't recommend her services enough. I love that her methods are holistic. She helped me as a whole person, not just as a worker or employee. She has been my bright spot of 2020 and I tell everyone who is struggling with their jobs or careers to work with her.

I was so excited to be part of this program to have a better life for my daughter and myself as a single mother I completed the academic side of the program and when it was time to do the Externship program I was hit with medical setbacks which I have doctors notes for but unfortunately I was told that six months after I completed my academic portion of my schooling I can no longer be part of the program. I wouldn't be able to finish my externship meaning I wouldn't be able to get a job as medical Assistant after I begged and pleaded to just give me one more month to complete two more weeks of Externship due to medical issues. This place is uncaring and a money grab. They crushed my dreams because I had a medical issue. Funny this is the career we all joined the medical field to take care of people who are having medical issues. These people are not nice and uncaring.

I understand that this school provides a valuable service to those seeking further education, this…read morereview is less about the school's programs as a whole and more about how absolutely poorly the Pearson testing center is run here. I was scheduled for a certification exam on a Thursday night, one of their only two exam nights per week. I showed up well over an hour before my exam was scheduled and began studying a little bit more. I noticed that there was literally only one person in the front for the better part of the hour I was waiting. It wasn't until about 20 minutes before testing - 5 minutes before the people taking the exam where supposed to check in - that the rest of the test administration staff started rolling in. This is a bit of a red flag, as MOST places I have been to try to get there well before check in to make sure the computers we're testing on are working properly, and if there was an issue they would have time to try and fix it. This is not at all what happened. The exam I scheduled myself for was supposed to start at 6:00 pm. I wasn't told what was going on, aside from "Technical difficulties" until around 6:40 pm at which point the staff mentioned that their wifi in the room was down, and had been for a while and no one had done anything about it. Very shortly after this, the entire facility lost wifi, and the servers were not on site - a poor design choice in terms of a "quality" testing center I was assured by the staff that the director of the facility would "look into this first thing in the morning on Friday." Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and most of Monday came and went, and nothing from the testing center, or from Pearson VUE. So I showed up today 12/16/2019 to ask what the status was, and was givin a piece of paper with a phone number and case number to call. Only, they gave me the phone number THEY should use to call as it pertained ONLY to the testing center. My issue with this site is the gross negligence and incompetence of the testing staff in this unfortunate situation for myself and the other people who where essentially hosed on Thursday night, assured something would be done, and then, shockingly (HEAVY SARCASM) nothing happened. As of now I am out $400 for this exam, and am expected to handle this myself after their extreme lack of foresight and laziness in this situation. I will not be taking another exam here, nor would I suggest any one else do the same. The extra drive will be worth the avoidance of the headache caused by this site.

I relocated to the US last Christmas and had to start my job search from scratch in a completely new market. Finding Brian was a turning point. After he helped me update my resume, everything changed. Throughout March, I was getting messages from a new recruiter almost every day, from companies like LinkedIn, TikTok, Walmart, and more. I even had the confidence to reach out directly to a technical manager at a top fintech company and made a great impression. The results speak for themselves. I received offers from both JPMorgan Chase and Cognizant, and I'm still in the final stages with another exciting company (five out of six rounds done). Brian has a real gift for helping you present yourself in the best light. I've already referred my friend to him, and I'm so grateful for everything. If you're thinking about it, just do it. It was completely customized, and the outcome proved it. If you're serious about your career and want to stand out in a competitive market, I can't recommend Brian enough. I originally wrote a glowing review back when I was a mere 21-year-old new to the world of therapy…read moreand all it had to offer. Let's start with the good: Transferring between therapists was painless if you feel like another practitioner is better suited for your needs. They're also very responsive via email, and while everything is online now, they're still very proactive in making sure to let you know of any cancellations. It is very clear that Mabel cares about her employees and will prioritize their health should they run into any difficulties in their personal lives, while making sure clients continue to receive the care that they deserve. Communication and scheduling are top-notch which is crucial (and I'd argue the bare minimum) when receiving mental health services. Here's where I felt the standard of care I was receiving felt not up to par: I suffer from BDD, which a complex disorder that requires nuanced care and language that does not insult my intelligence and also offers me advice as to not make my mental pain any worse than it is. There have been several instances where I felt my therapist's personal biases (I have worked with two here) have affected their approach to difficulties I was facing, which is never a good thing. If you want a specific example: Unrelated to my BDD but still a distressing change, I've experienced a nearly 80 lb. weight gain during my transition from my late teens to my early 20's, with 55 of those pounds driven by a sudden increase of chronic stress, anxiety, and dysregulated cortisol levels. As you can imagine, it's something that I've had to grapple with and grieve as I navigate a body that feels even more unfamiliar than it previously did. However, I was constantly told that "bodies are meant to change as we transition to true adulthood" or some flavor of that, which was very invalidating and quite frankly, insulting to my intelligence. Projection when treating my BDD also occurred --- and I know that's a buzzword that's susceptible to misusage, but it should be known that this is a very, very complex disorder and not all patients should be treated as if they're poisoned by social media or the beauty industry. It is very important, if possible, that you find a licensed clinical psychologist who has extensive training in ERP and is very familiar with the diagnostic literature. Some of the language that the therapist used in the early stages of me working together with them before I complained of not feeling seen or heard still affects me negatively today, which is probably the opposite of the desired effect of therapy. (I'd imagine that most people would not appreciate being called "illogical"). It seems like the bulk of the reviews are about Mabel (the owner), and I never worked with her personally so I can't speak on that front. The therapists that I have worked with here are good people and they really seem passionate about what they do, but passion can only get you so far when it comes to helping potential clients. I currently am getting my needs met elsewhere, but I just wanted to share my thoughts to help those who might be looking for a new therapist, especially for those who suffer from BDD. I didn't have a solid reference point for what specialized BDD care looked like, but once you experience it, you can't really go back. That being said, there is a chance that you could benefit from working with one of the therapists here, but as a generalized piece of advice I recommend shopping around elsewhere if you are financially able, so that you can find the best provider for YOU.

I found Mabel by chance a couple of years ago when I was not in a great place. I had tried out…read moreseveral therapists, but formed an instant connection with Mabel. She is warm, personable, empathetic, and compassionate. I remember hoping on a consultation call with her to let her know about my situation, filling in a form online about my background (other therapists take at least 1-2 sessions to get this which I feel is a waste of time/ not very efficient), and by the time we had our first session, she already knew a ton about me! Mabel is practical and relatable, and I place a lot of trust in her expertise and guidance. We dont always have breakthroughs every session (nor should you have that expectation for every therapy session), but I always walk away with something to think about, and a renewed sense of calm. She has seen me grow over the years, and Im truly grateful for her help.
