I purchased a couple of nice bottles of red wine that would normally be $40-50 for less than $20 each.

The staff here is very friendly and very fun. They're quick with a joke and are genuinely pleasant, even with the Friday Evening Alcohol Run beating them up. It's definitely enough to impress the wine/beer snob in your group. I love discovering more nooks and crannies of my hometown. It's great to see Lyndon with some vibrancy. Like most Kroger wine and spirits it is attached to the store but has own entrance/exit, own hours and dedicated workers. Also like most in the Lousiville area they have a very large and nice selection. I'm personally a bourbon drinker and will say they stay as close to mrsp on quality bourbons as any place you will find in the city. Depending if it your lucky day or not you can stumble across some hood bottles priced reasonably and not listed at secondary market prices. Overall a good liquor store with nice options, above average service and better than most places pricing.
