They have a wide variety of insteresting beer and liquors and the service was great. A good selection of wines and booze, but for my money, it's bitchin for brew. Countless imports, plenty of micros from around the country, and when New Albanian has a special release, it's guaranteed to be on these shelves. 2. You can mix and make your own six pack. This can be hugely beneficial when you're staring at a fridge with ten kinds of pumpkin ale that look identical. 3. Indiana ain't Kentucky, and consequently, their distributors carry brands that don't find their way across the Ohio, including some Indiana brewers (e.g., Sun King) and some national (New Belgium). 4. They periodically schedule free tastings, usually with representatives from the brewery/winery/distributor present. Wine tastings about once a month. Seasonal beer tastings several times a year. Next the oyster happy hour with peach vinaigrette was mind altering. The oysters were fresh and the sauce was inspiring. I ordered the hanger steak and wasn't very happy. Im a steak and frites girly but it wasn't the star of the show.. it's the catfish with slaw and milk bread. My favorite items there. The drinks are also amazing. Its a smaller place not housing more than 40 or so but make a reservation. Its worth the experience.

We started with complimentary boiled peanuts with a little kick. They were delicious! The food is brought out as it's finished cooking. So, not everything comes out at the same time. I like this because the food is super hot! Catfish nuggets were perfectly seasoned. The batter was light and airy. These were a huge hit! Macaroni and cheese was made with seven cheeses. Ooey gooey deliciousness. The greens, red beans and rice and Brussels felt like eating a home cooked meal! The red beans and rice had huge pieces of sausage that added the perfect amount of spice. Overall - I would definitely go back.

So, after a few minutes, we just went and sat ourselves, which apparently, is what we should have done in the first place. Once seated, a server was "Johnny on the spot" taking our drink order. Another server took our food order. A third server tried to take another drink order. In all, I think 5 servers stopped by our table for one thing or another. My wife loved her Santa Fe Chicken wrap. She managed to eat half of it. The only downside was the wrap easily unraveled. The wrap literally fell apart in her hands. I appreciated the option of getting grilled fish rather than fried. My sandwich was large, with a substantial filet. The sandwich was served with lettuce, tomato & pickles on a toasted bun. My side of fries was large, served hot & crispy. So, Harry's offered good food. Cold beer. And good service. Harry's is a worthwhile stop.

The drinks are well made, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes it easy to stay longer than you planned. It's a great spot whether you're going out for a casual night or meeting friends for something a little different from the usual bar scene. What really stands out is the personality of the place. It feels cozy, well put together, and genuinely enjoyable. We've had consistently good experiences and would absolutely recommend giving The Earl a try if you're in New Albany.

If this place were called "Steve's" or something and had more mundane lighting, I'd wrap my head around it more easily. The bar itself runs down the center of the single room with some four-ups against the wall. Each time, drinks are poured into plastic cups. Prices seem reasonable but portions are smaller than you'll get elsewhere. There's a few on draft, some alright cocktails and a limited food menu. I opted for the pretzel bread and pimento spread and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the freshness, texture, and taste! Music selections fluctuate both genres and volumes. Clientele is pretty relaxed. Its a go-to spot after 10 p.m.
