She made me feel comfortable driving and gave me the confidence to finally get on the road. I took 6 hours of lessons for about a month. Prior to booking lessons with Continental I had made it clear that I had a New York State permit. I received false information letting me know that everything will be fine with the permit and that I would be able to book and take my test with my New York State permit. I made sure to inquire about this as to not waste my time or the company's time. After taking my lessons, my test was booked and no additional information/instructions given. I arrived early to the test site and waited for the person administrating the test to arrive. When I was going to fill the forms to get started, I presented the gentleman with my New York State Permit only to be denied. I let him know that I was not told that I needed a Florida permit in order to take the test and that I was misled into thinking I'd be able to take my drivers test that morning. The lack of clarity from the company is abhorrent and a money grabbing scheme. At this point, I was hysterical because 1) I spent money on transportation to get to school 2) I had wasted my morning waiting for nothing and he offered me no solutions 3) the man continued to argue with me saying that I heard the wrong information. I am not in the business of wasting my time or anybody else's time so why would I book an appointment if I did not have the correct documentation for the test? Instead of offering an apology for the inconvenience he caused, he continued to argue with to tell me I heard wrong and calling me a liar. I ended up getting refunded for the test but this review is about the lack of clarity & communication from this driving school. Calling a client a liar & not admitting your mistakes is horrible customer service. I implore you to take a course in providing great customer service as to not lose future customers. This information should be on the driving schools website as to not mislead future drivers. Although I was satisfied with my classes, I would never recommend this school to anybody I know just based off the interaction I had on the day I was supposed to take my driving lesson. Editing review to add: Even the response from the owner is abhorrent. He continues to try place blame on the situation instead of using this as a learning moment for himself and for his company. After reviewing other websites for driving school in the area, I conclude that Continentals website did not provide clear information and that when asked the owner intentionally provided me with misinformation. I am well aware of what is stated on the Florida DMV website & I never stated that Continental made the rules as I understand how rules work.

He was very nice, patient, answered my questions and was informative. He communicated with me throughout the entire process. My daughter completed 8 hours of driving lessons with them since she had already done some with me. Miriana and Jonathan were both driving instructors for my daughter. They helped her gain much more confidence in her driving and I could tell the difference when I'd let her drive my car. She completed her lessons with them and then I got her the exam package and she passed on first try. I highly recommend them!

Anton set up our driving lesson at 9am and called me only 15 minutes before the start to confirm the appointment. I didn't see his call so I called him 6 minutes later thinking that he has called me because he's waiting for me outside. I was wrong. He told me that he called (one time 6 min ago right before the appointment) to confirm our lesson but I didn't pick up. I explained that I have work later today but I'll wait for him so I kept waiting. The guy just decided to ignore me. In Anton's opinion hiding like a little girl, ignoring and declining calls when someone's waiting for him is the best business strategy. Apparently Anton just woke up and was trying to find any excuse to cancel the lesson and continue his beauty sleep.

A search showed three schools for the course. Dale's school was less than a mile north of my job, but I still wasn't sold. One school wanted more money for the course. So did the other, plus it would push for a sale of one of its bikes. It wasn't until I went on YELP, did I realize Dale's school was the best of them without a shadow of a doubt. Every single review was positive!!! I was on vacation when I scheduled my BRC, and was fortunate to have a break in between days, Thur, Sat, Sun. Dale and Larry made everyone feel welcomed, comfortable, unrushed, and safe. Only two of the eight of us were first time riders. It was good to see even more experienced riders were challenged by the riding portion of the course material. It poured rain on our final day, and during our evaluations. A test within a test! We waited it out, and continued. Everyone passed! I highly recommend THIS particular school if you want to learn, or to get your endorsement. After about 15 minutes of practice, they told me I should switch to a more expensive course instead. Instead, they took me to a practice area next to the school again, just like before. In the end, I ended up wasting $135 for less than an hour of driving practice.
