The house is already running 4 laptops, a Wii, various Blackberries and now a PS3. It is no surprise the $30 wireless modem gets choked with a over usage strangle hold and just gives up. The new modem has various channels making it easier to run various devices at the same time. It was strongly suggested a pro set it up. Geek Squad to the rescue. They truly are a carbon copy of the people portrayed in their TV ads. Geek like uniform steps out of a goofy looking VW Bug, to my relief. Had a surfer type guy in a jeep pulled into the drive, I'd be concerned. Geek Squad was great. They pulled everything existing apart, installed the wireless device and got the entire house properly synced. This is $50 well spent.

My computer worked better than ever, until now, but nothing to do with his work, but more the fault of Microsoft. I run Windows 10 which I find fine, BUT Microsoft decided I need Windows 11 and installed it without my authority. Many of my apps dont work with !! so I tried to revert back to Windows 10 which I have done before. This time I got the blue screen of death upon startup, and seemingly no way out without my Authorizing Key, which of course I didn't have. so again I called Dean.
