So while the treatment was good, I value my time enough not to sit around waiting for someone to come back or calling to me through a curtain with instructions while they treat someone else. When I asked for a less crowded appointment time the receptionist was dismissive and told me all physio offices are like this. Not true. In fact, this is the worst (3 at a go) of any of the many clinics I called and several offered dedicated appointments. So, I'm going elsewhere. Not only is she extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but she always seems to be enthusiastic about holistic health. She has been more valuable than a physiotherapist, she can take a quick scan of my body and dive into her bag of tricks to accommodate whatever I need that day. I'd say that she specializes in assessment, hypermobility and IMS. She even has been a bit of a spiritual guide for me. I would (and have) highly recommended all the staff at Trimetrics.

The clinic is located in Ambleside. Very new, clean, and well organized clinic. They have online booking and direct billing. Receptionist is very helpful. Plenty of free 1 or 2 hour street parking. They also have Chiropractors, Physiotherapist , kinesiologist and a super friendly clinic dog!

At that point, I was mostly going through the motions of physiotherapy and believed surgery was my only real option. Years of hockey and other sports had left me convinced that the damage to my knee was chronic and likely irreparable. I'll admit I was skeptical, as I hadn't benefited from physiotherapy in the past. Working with Gevorg completely changed my perspective. What sets Gevorg apart is how clearly he explains the biology of the body, how it responds to trauma, how chronic injuries develop, and most importantly, how healing actually happens. That understanding made a huge difference for me and helped me trust the process. Since starting treatment, my knee and overall leg strength have improved drastically. I've also seen significant improvement in long-standing back and wrist issues in just a few months. Most surprisingly, I've started running, something I've never done in my life and always hated. Yes, I've joined the cult. At this point, I don't anticipate needing surgery at all. I truly cannot say enough good things about working with Gevorg at Physioworks. about 3 months ago i sprained my ankle. i've been athletic most of my life (not currently) and have…read moresprained my ankle often, usually good as new within 2 weeks. the pain in my ankle has lingered for 3 months. not only lingered but So painful still that i actually went to my doctor last week for an xray, worrying i had actually broken something. xrays came back negative and she suggested physio. being new(ish) to the city i asked friends for recommendations. all were too far or only had appts avaiable a couple of days a week. i was lamenting this to a co-worker yesterday and she held up a postcard. this clinic just moved into the building. why not try them? so i dropped in and was fortunately able to get in 45 minutes later. i saw brian. ultra sound, that weird tingly thing that equally hurts and feels good and a quick deep tissue massage in my calf (hot knives) and a prescription for a few stretches and i woke up this morning without even a tingle in my ankle. seriously. i love people who know what they're doing. can't wait to see brian a couple of more times next week. i have anough aches and pains to keep him busy for a while!!

If you are like me and want results another way, then this is the place and Colin is the guy. I see Colin Miller for physio and he specializes in IMS. Although it can be quite painful at times, IMS has been the only thing that gives me relief when I have back or shoulder pain. Trust me when I tell you that it's worth it. He does great work and I have yet to seek his help and not get results and I have been a client for over 5 years.
