I must say that Grand has really found its crowd and concept. A couple of years ago it struggled to…read morefind its identity, but at this point it's very mature. This is a place for everyone, which is also the usp of the place. People from different segments are blended in a nice way without creating borders. Rockers, hipsters, suits, they all go under the same roof. I have not tried the food, but the cocktails are great. However, when it's getting a bit later in the evening it's really hard to get service, so enjoy that drink once you get it! I really appreciate the live jazz band they had playing. Really sets the mood, although it made it a bit harder to talk in a decent voice. And the dance floor is ok if you feel like moving around! So, all in all a great place. Somewhere in between a restaurant and a night club with a perfect blend of people and a nice ambience.

Lunch Usually comes with a meat, a veg and a soup alternative. Various salads, homemade (often warm!) bread, dips and coffee are included; you will not go hungry :) Night time its taken up by larger groups of friends, crowd is 30+ and the atmosphere is chilled and professional casual. I'd give this a 3.5 star due to its lack of personality, but give it a 4 for it always being a good time, food is great and fresh and the place is very clean and well kept :)

Heard about it & passed it many times in the past year & on a Tuesday night it was time to see what…read morethe hype was all about. It was packed/fully booked. Our choices for dinner (day before reservation) were seating at 6:15 or earlier or 9:15 or later so reservations well in advance are recommended. We started with cocktails (& they had a few creations) & had a "Buried in Sand" and a "Holy Mule-" Both excellent! Our server was helpful & made some wonderful suggestions once she found out it was our first visit. All the dishes (small & large) are great for sharing. As it seemed a staple of the menu (that changes daily) as well one of their specialties we decided to start with the Bastard Planka. A nice variety of house cured ham, salami, chorizo, pate & pickles-one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the Klemmings Oysters as our second starter. So fresh, salty & exquisite! For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! They also have a bar area (open kitchen) where you can grab a seat to try some of the entrees or just have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine if they are fully booked. Will definitely be back. Michelin rating well deserved!

Decided to just order from the menu rather than pick the set menu. Being from the bay area we…read moreusually eat Korean food and is one of my favorites. After ordering a bunch of items this is what our impressions were of these specific dishes: Oli gogi sauce is really good. Perfect fitting with the meat. The meat was not too special but the sauce made the difference. Song eo: not expecting fish in this dish from the description but not fishy in taste at all. Actually very delicious and the fish eggs and sauce with vegetables are the perfect pairing. Mandu: just ok. Something I've had before. More on salty side with sauce Gao bao: delicious and nice mixture. Reminds me of when you eat crispy duck at a Chinese restaurant except this is with pork belly. I like the addition of swedish pickle inside as well Yangnyeom tongdak:. I've had Korean fried chicken many times and I would say this is not something I would come back for. It was over gratuitously slathered over with the gochujang sauce which was really salty and spicy. I feel it would have been better on the side. Nice to be given the hand wipes to clean up. Beef Gangnam style: similar to what we usually get but the difference we noticed is the meat here is grilled then placed with sauce on top where we usually have the meat marinated in the sauce and then cooked. Pieces were deliciously cooked medium. Banchan: disappointed but truthfully because when we get them at home there are more varieties such as sweet potatoes or fish cakes. Was hoping to see some of those here. Ambience:. We came here in National Sweden day and it was raining intermittently that night but we still decided to sit outdoors under the awning and was able to enjoy being outdoors and the fresh feeling of rain with a heat lamp. The waitress was nice and attentive and the experience was definitely nice. Overall I give this place a 4 stars just because the yangnyeom tangdok was just way too salty and wished we were given the choice to use the sauce ourselves. My favorite dishes was the oli gogi and song eo and I can see if these were the only dishes I ate this place hands down would have been a 5 star.

There are certain benefits for having low expectations when going to a new place…read more You're saved from disappointment early on, and that you could be pleasantly surprised when the food turned out to be good. Mina K and I didn't have much expectation to begin with. We know the owner of this restaurant is a Swedish Master Chef winner, so she must know how to cook, but she's Swedish (despite her Asian roots) and that the restaurant declared itself as fusion Korean food and I'm not too trusting at the word "fusion" these days when it comes to food. We booked a table and got our seating at the Busan dining room (floor seating). Do book for western-style chair and table dining room if you're not used to sitting down on the floor for eating, you don't want to leave the restaurant with your legs feeling dead. We ordered Korean style beef tartar and gaobao (gua bao?) for appetizers and Rygbiff Gangnam style (that comes with banchan and rice - pretty good deal since the banchan set itself costs 125 kr without rice) that is for two people. I'm not an expert in Korean food, but Mina K is and she was pleasantly surprised on how the food tasted pretty authentic despite the fusion labelling. All I know was that the beef tartar tasted good and the gaobao? Much better than the baos I had in Copenhagen. The buns were small but the filling (marinated pork belly) was to die for! We didn't have to wait long until our main course arrived - the Gangnam style beef, with the banchan. The meat was cooked perfectly with pink colour on the inside and was very tasty. You eat it by wrapping it in lettuce and put the banchan ingredients on it, don't forget to top it with gochujang hot sauce and stuff the whole package in your mouth. We were definitely surprised on how great the food was. The service was pleasant as well. The waitress was attentive and friendly and chatted with us for awhile about the steel chopsticks used that could be quite a challenge for people who are not accustomed to using these kind of chopsticks. A downside is that this place could get little pricey here on the side of Øresund, but it's in Swedish kroner (ha!) and that the restaurant itself has nice decor so you could take your date, your friends or your colleagues here even for work dinner. I'm definitely going to come back and try out other stuff in the menu although a lot of them are with poultry (chicken, duck) that I don't eat, but do ask for vegetarian / vegan option, they offer tofu fillings for some of their items and this being a Swedish restaurant, they usually cater to the vegetarians.
