Scape is offering a complimentary 90-minute session to try out their facility on social media, so because that opportunity is open to all, I am opting to leave feedback about it here, as it appears that it would be helpful to the business to understand what is and isn't working when inviting in these new potential customers. I have mixed reviews about the experience, but I feel like it could be greatly improved for others by simply considering a few small tweaks in the early stages. First and foremost, the facility is located in a shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful and the building is easy to access. When you walk in, the music is very zen and everything looks clean and inviting. The desk attendant grabs a Scape branded blanket for you and leads you to a room near the entrance that has a wraparound couch, a tv that is turned off, and the same gentle music is playing. I assumed I was just waiting for someone to tour me around the facility since I was new, and the music had me relaxed and ready for a self-care experience. All that was great, but then things got...weird. Over the next 15 minutes or so, more people were lead into the room until the couch was full and people started taking up the additional bench seating. We were all just kind of waiting for someone to come back, and when a woman (presumably the manager on duty) finally did, she simply turned on the TV to a YouTube video of the two owners of Scape giving their elevator pitch of the facility, except the pitch was about 15 minutes or so and it felt entirely like we had unexpectedly found ourselves in a time share meeting (just the information was about Scape instead). A few of us in the room discussed how odd this all was, and a few people even smirked and laughed at the strange experience. When the video ended, the attendant/manager came back in the room and asked everyone, "So what did you think?" Considering that this is a new business and it sounded like they were looking for feedback, I candidly shared that I found the experience weird and that a tour of the facility would have made more sense, but tried to give helpful feedback about the experience. The woman was instantly defensive but remained relatively professional, but the exchange had me kind of considering just leaving at that point. It all felt very awkward. I stuck it out and they actually did do a tour of the facility next. They take you into the locker room where everyone puts on socks (they have some there if you don't have any) and puts belongings in lockers, and then they brought us around to learn about the different sections we could use during our 90-minute session, with equipment like infrared therapy chairs, zero gravity massage chairs (these were my favorite), red light therapy rooms, reflexology foot machines, and even a salt room. By the time we began our actual use of the facility though, it had been about 45+ minutes since I had arrived for my appointment time. I liked the variety of equipment available, and there was plenty of each, so there was never something I wanted to try but couldn't. It ended up being very relaxing and I was able to figure out the use of the equipment fairly easily, and I think I could have stayed in that massage chair for another hour. The whole place felt like a big gym, but instead of different workout sections, there were different ways to experience more relaxation and self-care. Very cool idea overall. Unfortunately, the weird experience at the beginning makes me hesitant to tell my friends and family about this business, as I don't want them to have to go through the time-share-vibe video experience, too. I think more communication around what to expect when you arrive for your first experience, and a huge reduction in the amount of things (and time) you sit through watching and listening to before ever touring the facility, would do wonders for getting people interested in coming back. This place is incredible! I originally went because they offer PEMF therapy and Red Light therapy. I have a problem with inflammation in my hip which makes it difficult to walk, so I often use a cane. I took advantage of their free tour. They also offer halotherapy, vibroacoustic therapy, and they have THREE different styles of massage chairs!!! Their zero-gravity AI massage chair is the be-all-and-end-all of massage chairs! Literally the gold standard, and once you try it, nothing else will ever come close! I came for the PEMF therapy, but I stayed for the massage lounger! I come every day after work, stay for a couple of hours, and my inflammation has decreased to the point that I no longer need a cane to get around! No, I'm neither a scientist nor a doctor. HOWEVER, my sister treated me to a week at Scape and I can only say I wish I lived closer or they opened one in Manatee County! My sister is an ID physician and trained in functional/integrated medicine as well. The owner (a businessman) and his wife (a scientist) have done an AMAZING job thinking through their plan and implementing it in a way that is inviting for all! They have truly researched the healing benefit from each therapy (reduce stress, reduce inflammation, help with neuropathy, etc.). Their attention to detail is second to none. From the calming lights and the tranquil music to the serene words on the wall and the way they used the space, you can tell this is a true labor of love. I've done every massage chair, red light therapy, foot and hand reflexology, salt room, etc, and I feel renewed, refreshed, relaxed, and ready for the tomorrows to come. While using the Scape therapies, I personally took the time to pray and read, and at one point, I even fell asleep. All my senses were satisfied here--touch, sight, hearing, smell, and, yes, I even have the sweet taste of contentment. This week has been such a blessing. We all have a need to feel peace and feel grounded. We can all benefit from "me time", rest, and relaxation. You, like I, don't have to be into yoga or new age to fall in love with this place of tranquility. I've seen people who come every day just to feel centered, at peace, and benefit from the therapies. I've seen all ages, sexes, and walks of life, even those battling cancer. People walk in hopeful and walk out being glad they found this gem. I know I'm happy my sister did and that she brought me along for the week. I see the good in this place and in the people who run it--the owners and their assistant. Their hearts are good and their vision for Scape has come to life through hard work and perseverance. I wish them well and pray for their success. For less than $100/mo., founding members can come unlimited times. They recently opened their doors so if I lived nearby, I'd jump at the chance to lock in the founder's pricing and I'd be a daily visitor for sure! Thank you, Scape, for my time here! I feel renewed, refreshed, and recharged! I only wish I lived closer to your Clearwater location (near the Ross near Countryside Mall). Website needs to be updated. We scheduled a time on your Scape app for 2pm on Sunday and the app let us do it no problem. We booked a baby sitter and everything for our kids thinking everything was good to go. We get there and find out that they are closed on Sundays. Please update the app to make it impossible to book appointments for days that are closed. I assumed that the place was open because us let us book the appointment. read more

It was very awkward! Our first time in and they seem to expect that you know all the inner working. After the "intro" it was okay. I did like the red light therapy and the massage chair. The changing room where you wash and make sure you wore socks (oops) was dirty, had not been swept or mopped in days?!?!. I had to go through about 10 lockers to find a clean one. Wiping down the red light beds left marks on the tissue. I suggest multiple wipe downs, including the upper part. All in all it's an AWESOME concept with poor execution. No plans to return, but I have bought the shockwave machine on Amazon. Same one they have for $250. Beats the $1400/ yr they charge. Front desk employee was kinda snotty and did not care to be there. Save your money and buy some Epsom salt lol. read more
