I used to come here all the time when I was younger and it was under different management. I was a little worried about messing with nostalgia l by returning and being disappointed. However, I have to tell you this place is just as good as I remember. I ordered and Italian combo and was blown away. Look at this sandwich! My wife ordered a chicken bbq and cheddar sandwich and she loved it! She's a picky eater so that says a lot. The best part of this place is the service. They still make you feel right at home and they call your name when you are ready to pay. Lastly, one of the owners made an ice coffee by accident. She offered it to us and make it clear that she just didn't want it to go to waste. She even customized it for us! Wow! I mean great service, from great people.

Lunch from Scaperrotta's is always a winner. Chicken cutlets perfectly seasoned and cooked, on a roll with mayo - delish! The turkey sandwich - delicious thin sliced turkey on a fresh roll - how can you go wrong! And the tuna salad, the egg salad - always fresh and flavorful. And they do get a line of customers at lunchtime (obviously the reputation earns followers) and they do manage to move it. An excellent choice!

I keep coming back for the bacon egg and cheese. It's probably the best I've had in Westchester.

Had a good bacon egg and cheese for breakfast one day so I came back and got a chicken cutlet sandwich for lunch. It was really good too.

Kind of unexpected, and not complex flavor at all. The soup didn't have any discernible flavor. Not bad, but certainly not great. Half sour pickles: again, kinda underflavored. Cut in slices rather than served whole (i think i got one whole pickle--pretty stingy). Cole slaw: this was actually quite good and the highlight of the meal. Egg cream: not enough seltzer while still being kinda meh flavorwise. Pastrami sandwich: the meat was somewhat dry and lacked that peppery pastrami flavor you expect from, what?, pastrami. The bread wasn't very fresh so I ended up not eating much of the bread. Small sandwich for $28 or $29. Potato knish: perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Again, though, not much flavor or seasoning. Overall, my meal cost $55 before tip and I'd get a better meal of all the same at any diner in New Jersey. Decent, but not worth coming back with so many better options out there.

There is traditionally 15 min parking in front of the store but due to the Pandemic it is not being enforced. He stays open much later and opens up early which is violating the shelter in policy but I don't care about that. He does not own the street and is not the only business on the street.I will NEVER patronize this place again.
