Their assessment indicates strength and weakness, and learning is focus to supplement her learning and continue to challenge. Both teachers and cusotmer service are great. They are very approachable and open for feedback, and willing to accomodate to our needs. Due to Covid-19, we had to transition to online tutoring via Zoom. It was sudden but super smooth withtou any interruption. I was bit skeptical, but online tutoring saves our drive time and waiting, so we prefers it over in-person tutoring now. My child enjoys collecting Sylvan $$ (attendance), and received $10 Amazon that motivated her alot. If I have to say something different... I would be curious to see assessment scores comparing to state, US national, and international standards. Other than that, nothing but positives. It's in a historic house in the middle of old Battle Ground which really lends itself to play based learning. The kids don't seem like they are in a classroom setting. They do learn standard preschool academics here but the focus is on social and emotional growth and support and play based learning. My husband and I took turns going to the parent classes lead by the preschool teacher and I truly don't think any one thing has helped our family out more. We are better parents for it. As a co-op you learn and work alongside other families so you can really find a wonderful community here. I really can't recommend this school enough!

My kid asks to go to school almost every day. My mind is at ease at drop off off, and when I pick her up, she is usually beaming about what they did in school that day. As a bonus, she has made several great friends. In my personal experience in observing many preschools and interacting with their children and staff as part of my job, many are just meeting the basic needs. Yes, the children are usually safe. But are they engaged? Educated thoughtfully? Do they feel like part of the school family? Do YOU? At Kidspace they are and you will! Kidspace is magical and a revelation.
