It's Blueberry Thyme.... vodka, blueberries, sours & fresh thyme YUMMY!
    Marta H.

I was staying at the Sheraton & although I love the steakhouse I was craving a cocktail & a burger so decided to try Scarlet. Tried to make a reservation via Open Table, but was told none existed so I took a chance. Restaurant was virtually empty, except for the patio (it was a beautiful day). I wanted to work, with my customer, so we sat inside at a large table so I could set up my laptop. Our server was patient and attentive! The It's Blueberry Thyme cocktail is to die for! After the 3rd one I had to stop. We ordered some poutine to start. The fries were hot, but I was disappointed the cheese curds weren't melted. The gravy was also just a little salty. I ordered the truffle burger for dinner - replaced the beef patty with turkey & replaced the fries with a salad.... OMG burger was amazing, even without the bun.... The shaved truffles, although steep at $3 extra, were amazing. The salad, chock full of goat cheese & cranberries was fresh and tasty. We didn't have any dessert, not a huge number of options, but we were happy and full. Another great gem at the Sheraton in Saskatoon!

We came here for dinner during Jazzfest. The patio was busy, not busy inside. Server was attentive, very casually dressed for a hotel atmosphere (skater shoes). We ordered truffle burger, salmon with asparagus, rotisserie chicken, peanut butter chocolate brownie in a mug, watermelon cocktail, coffee/kahlua.. the food was delicious, chicken and salmon cooked to perfection. Dessert wasn't to our taste, cocktail was overly sweet. Service was good, they were playing World Cup for those who wanted to watch. Would return!

Ate one afternoon at Scarlet while in town. Its very pretty inside and also has outdoor seating with a great view. I had a nice bourbon drink from their drink menu and my girl had a frozen margarita. Both were very good. We went for the basic burger. We split it since we were not super hungry. I added onion rings instead of fries and while there were not very many they were really crispy and great. obviously home made. The burger itself had really shrunk I guess because when we cut burger in half there was only meet on on half. I called the manager over and he had them cook me a separate burger patty. Let me tell you that was the best burger patty ever. Cooked perfectly and so flavorful. Really it needed no bun. It was obviously hand formed and loosely packed. I love burgers and this patty ranks up there with the best I have ever had.

Had breakfast here, food was fresh and reasonably priced. love the ambience and lighting of this place. I ordered the Cheddar omelette with mushroom and maple bacon comes with toast. The freshness of the dish won me over, plus the portions weren't too big nor too small. I would definitely come back.

I needed a good, hearty breakfast before playing for singing exams in the afternoon! I ordered the Two Eggs Classic Breakfast--the eggs were cooked perfectly(over easy), the bacon was crispy with a hint of maple smokiness and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and served in a mini ramekin). Our server was pleasant and attentive. Other breakfast items included Belgian waffles, pancakes, omelettes, and eggs Benny. They also have a selection of Starbucks lattes, mochas, coffees, and espressos. I will definitely be back to try their other offerings the next time I'm in town.

The food came really late but the quality, presentation and taste is really good, well worth the wait!

Fish crisp sandwich with a salad instead of fries.

I arrived at Scarlet starving and weary after a day of travelling and didn't expect much, but was delighted with my meal. The fish crisp sandwich was fresh and really tasty (loved the bun, sauce, and fixings). I opted for the salad instead of fries and was happy with this choice - they didn't skimp on salad ingredients and the salad had just the right amount of dressing. Service was friendly and the patio was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

I've been here at night and for breakfast. The food is fine, the patio is really nice. Great location across from the old Delta castle and river park. Come here to be social.

To start our long day in Saskatoon, my boyfriend and I began with Poached Breakfast Bistro. While…read moremy boyfriend just had a Double Espresso ($4.3), I got the Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate ($8), Poached Over Crab & Shrimp Risotto Cakes ($21) with Pecan & Maple Syrup Bacon Roll-Ups ($7.5). I'm very impressed with the menu and drink options. They have plenty of unique options and you can really feel the creativity in what they offer. The interior was also very unique, it's an older building but modernized with an artistic touch while incorporating its vintage roots. My boyfriend said his coffee was good, didn't taste burnt. The bar is in Hell for good coffee in Regina. My hot chocolate was made with frothed creamy peanut butter and chocolate almond milk. It made a welcome nutty flavour combination that was unique yet delicious. I also loved that it smelled strongly of peanut butter. Being at a restaurant named "Poached" I had to get poached eggs. My dish consisted off house made shrimp, pollock crab and white wine risotto cakes, flavoured with Dijon and Dill, along with 2 poached eggs and herbed hollandaise sauce and a side of rye toast. As an additional side, I ordered their classic house made bacon rollups. These are made with crushed pecans and pure maple syrup then topped with a hint of cayenne for heat. Honestly, it was a lot of food. You don't need the bacon rollups but the were SO good that I recommend trying them. My cakes were crispy on the outside yet hot and soft on the inside. The taste was mild, fresh and comforting. It was perfect for such a cold day and I wouldn't change a thing about this dish. I highly recommend this restaurant and everything we ordered. Thank you to everyone that suggested this spot. It's my cousin's favourite brunch spot in Saskatoon and now I understand why!

Their atmosphere is cozy yet modern, with dining areas a bit divided up to make it feel intimate once you sit down. Service was quick and friendly. We can recommend the poached eggs on cheesy hash browns and the omelet. They have fresh squeezed orange juice and their rye toast is very fresh. Everything tasted very fresh and there was no hint of greasiness like at some breakfast spots. Just wonderful.

It's out in an industrial area, but don't let that sway you. When you walk into the place you'll notice that it's a cozy place with mismatched coffee mugs (circa grandma), and usually a friendly greeting by the server(s). There are "manwiches" and senior and wee ones (children's) menu items available. However, I have never really been able to resist the allure of the BREK-KER Burger. Handmade (no pre-formed, frozen here) patty with 1 egg with your choice of bun (they have a lot - onion, cheese etc.) and cheese and ham or bacon. As for the hashbrowns - try, I dare you, to resist the hashbrown poutine!!! I recommend it, the server recommends it, my friend has never been able to resist it also recommends it. Definitely not the restaurant if you're dieting that day or week. This is your place if you've been out late and need to feed the hangover or just ran a race, or if you're plain old treating yourself to juicy, slight greasy in a good way burger and poutine FOR BREAKFAST kinda day.

I got the War Pig ($15.5), my boyfriend got the Double Rink Burger ($12) with 2 slices American Cheese ($3) and Back Bacon ($2), a fountain pop ($2.75) and we shared Garlic Fries ($9) with 2 Mayo Dill ($2.5) sauces for dipping. My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger, he would return here again. A man of simple words The burgers are messy, so be prepared to use a bunch of napkins ! He was also very pleased about free drink refills. Our fries were delicious and had an extremely strong garlic taste. I think the fresh minced garlic was sautéd in oil and parsley, giving it such a strong and natural taste. Loved it. Especially because they made house cut fries! While the Mayo Dill was good, I only recommend getting the mayo dill if you get plain fries. My War Pig was phenomenal. It was a double stack of smashed beef using fresh chuck/brisket of a 80/20 % blend and I could taste it was good quality beef. This burger consists of side bacon, back bacon, bourbon bacon jam, LOADED with crispy fried onions, and topped with lettuce, tomato and mustard. Easily one of the best Smash Burgers in Saskatchewan. Wouldn't change a thing. They deliver on their promise of big flavors and generous portions, so you definitely won't leave hungry. All of the ingredients are high quality, fresh, and locally sourced. The lady who took our order was very friendly and provided excellent service. On top of that, the pricing was reasonable considering the portion sizes and overall quality. On an unrelated note, I wholeheartedly loved to watch Jurassic park while we had our dinner!!! I highly recommend this spot and everything we ordered. My only regret was that I didn't have room for a milkshake !

I know the website says not to change the making of anything but, I can't have mustard. We ask to have the mustard on the side. We were told NO. I said "I can't have mustard. Can you please just leave it off?" I was told NO again. So, my husband and I looked over the menu to find something without mustard. We finally found 2 items. Then when they say spicy...they mean HOT. The spicy ketchup on the meatloaf is very hot and The smoked chipotle dip is very hot. I couldn't eat either of them and my husband, who has no problem with hot wings and fire sauce, could not eat them either. To sum up, we did not enjoy our visit. How hard is it to leave mustard off of a sandwich. I wish them luck...but it's definitely not for us.
