An independent safety inspection from Canadian Tire on September 12, 2025 confirmed multiple safety failures, including damaged rear brake lines. Despite returning the vehicle to the dealership on four separate occasions, the core issues remain unresolved. I am deeply concerned about the validity of the original safety certification and the dealership's refusal to acknowledge independent findings. Additionally, the conduct of the dealer has been unprofessional, with repeated attempts to discourage outside inspections and shift blame. This situation raises serious concerns about public safety, consumer rights, and regulatory compliance. In additional the appalling attitude from Rida telling me I am overreacting due to a serious car accident 3 months ago and telling me only he should be allowed to work in the car is very disturbing.

When the recall was issued I took the car to Nissan Morningside for the repairs. The problem was intermittent so when I took the car in, the camera was working and when I picked up the car the camera was also working. Drove for about 4 months and the problem reappeared. Took it to Nissan Morningside and they wanted $170 for a diagnostic saying that they did what the recall required. The recall was very explicit on what they were supposed to do. Tape the harness or replace the harness or both. I decided to investigate what they had done and they simply taped the harness and left the defective harness the same. It was obvious to me that there was a bad connection in the harness connection with the camera so I made sure the connection was good, put electric tape around to secure it in place and have not had a problem since. So much for dealer mechanics.

Stick with the facts about a great product and be tuned in with the needs and wants of the customer. I took a 2014 Honda Odyssey EX front wheel drive with rear cam, DVD player and seating for 8 out for a road test. Sol explained the features and he provided me answers to questions about a towing hitch, Carfax history, and when this vehicle arrived on the lot. After sending several photos of the Odyssey to my daughter plus my feedback report, my daughter and son-in-law are on their way to take it to the next step. It was a great experience dealing with Sol and I would add this dealership to my short list for a future purchase of my own.
