I own a Nissan Altima 2019 which had a recall for back camera. Before the recall was issued I had complained to Nissan about this problem and they refused to address it. When the recall was issued I took the car to Nissan Morningside for the repairs. The problem was intermittent so when I took the car in, the camera was working and when I picked up the car the camera was also working. Drove for about 4 months and the problem reappeared. Took it to Nissan Morningside and they wanted $170 for a diagnostic saying that they did what the recall required. The recall was very explicit on what they were supposed to do. Tape the harness or replace the harness or both. I decided to investigate what they had done and they simply taped the harness and left the defective harness the same. It was obvious to me that there was a bad connection in the harness connection with the camera so I made sure the connection was good, put electric tape around to secure it in place and have not had a problem since. So much for dealer mechanics. read more

The purchase experience was everything that is wrong with car dealerships. Low-ball offer for my trade in, lack of transparency in their offer, trying to sneak in a $500 fee that I didn't need, making me wait an hour for a finance person once I decided to purchase, promising accessories in my car and then not delivering, not giving my a full tank of gas when I drove off the lot, and taking my personalized license plate cover off my my vehicle and replacing it with a dealer cover without my permission. So, while in the neighbourhood I ventured to this lot to browse the physical inventory of new and pre-owned vehicles. Yes, one can surf the web to see everything including 3-D cutouts and fancy music to sway a potential buyer. I've purchased parts from Morningside Nissan before, and their parts department seems fairly knowledgeable and helpful on the phone. As with most dealerships you have to purchase the item in full before they can order it for you. Sometimes with other dealerships that know you, they will order the part regardless if you're a regular customer. Morningside is more by the book and require full payment up front before the orders can be made. As with most dealerships the mark up is fairly high here and the wait time for parts can be as long as a few weeks to a month. They don't offer any kind of discount pricing as well for regular or returning customers, as with other dealerships. Simply due to proximity and price, I have move to Scarborough Nissan to purchase parts I require. If Morningside was willing to order parts over the phone or without full payment up front I would be willing to come back. Also having a customer loyalty program as with other dealerships would be helpful. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! SOLD US ALL-SEASON TIRES PRETENDING THEY WERE WINTER TIRES! My father went in to buy new winter tires for his Car (which was also purchased from this location). They invoiced him with "Winter Tires" on the statement and proceeded to install the tires. My father does not know much about tires and upon coming home we realized that they had sold him ALL-SEASON TIRES INSTEAD. When we returned all they said was that it was "Human Error". THEY MUST HAVE INCOMPETENT WORKERS in their tire center if they not know the difference between all-season tires and winter tires OR they don't want to admit that they tried to take advantage of us. Our child rides in that car sometimes and they do not care at all about the SAFETY OF ANYONE. REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. read more

My friend just bought a Nissan Rogue from this location and the experience was a nightmare. My friend traded in her vehicle for a new 2019. He was not given the ownership when picking up the car. And when he asked they said it was his fault. When he got home and inspected the car in his driveway he noticed that the bumper was skewed. He took it back to the dealership where they fixed it by gauging it with a screwdriver!! They said it was the best they could do. But when he complained they offered to fix all the damage. They told him to return the next day for a proper repair. As he was driving home from work the rear wheel well feel off on the 401. The dealership explained that it happens sometime. Srsly!!! Then the worst thing happened. A payment for the old car came out of his account at the same time as the new one. When he reached out to the dealership they said it was the fault of the corporate office. When he wrote an email to the corporate office complaining about the situation they said that they referred the situation back to the dealership. The dealership then out of embarrassment and spite said they would be holding on to the payment overage as long as he could because he (Shan) was humiliated. This was offensive. We bought a 2011 Nissan Rogue SV from this dealership in March 2014 with only 36,000 kms on it. When I took it for my first oil change last week (at 39,000 kms) my mechanic noticed that the tires were excessively worn and all 4 of them had cracks in between every single tread. As well, we noticed that the underside of the car had a lot of surface rust for something that's barely 3 years old. We took it to Morningside Nissan and the sales associates assured us that they would fix the problem because the damaged tires were a safety hazard. When the Sales Manager (Munesh) and Service Manager looked at it they said they wouldn't do anything about it. We asked for a refund of the balance of the extended warranty he said that the person who sold us the car no longer works there. BUYER BEWARE, they sold us an extended warranty which isn't even good for anything. I would NEVER recommend this dealership or their vehicles to anyone! read more

Had a car accident and it was recommended to go to this dealer ship as one of State Farm Select car repair centres. Had 5000 dollars worth of damage but when we picked up the car, the rear brakes were still metal on metal and were not repaired even though I requested this via writing. The rear sway bar was broken and not detected, therefore it was not repaired, this is dangerous if it is not repaired it can cause some serious control issues if you have to do a evasive manoeuvre. So wasn't pleased with the service I received. Two items that were not repaired can be serious to the day to day operation and could put use at risk. Had these repaired at my normal repair centre. read more

He really knows how to handle customers and not like the previous people who work there @ the front. They fixed my power windows and had maintenance 2. Giving them 4 stars for pleasant service and maintenance. I don't know about cars but i don't have a choice but trust the person who serviced my car. Nissan service doing something wrong again on morningside and milner I have a 2006 nissan pathfiner my truck Heat was taking long to heat up but when i start driving then the heat was working fine I know the thermosat was going I took my truck to change the thermosat now i have no heat when i talk to the service adviser antony he told me it will be another $120 to check to see what is the problem i told him my heat was working before now i have no heat the mechanic Didn't bleed the rad when i pick up my Truck the heat was off this is not the first time this happen to me I always get Screwed by nissan This is bad customer service anthony Need to treat customers good I have no clue what there did wrong i don't think i should be paying because my heat was working 80% now it's not working after there change the thermosat I am very disappointed on nissan service I will never take my truck there anymore This is the last vehicle i will buy from nissan read more

Do Not bother going here, I had a big problem with the service department trying to up sell my wife. I have chosen to deal with another dealership for my business. Now here is why I will say dont bother. They could careless if you are not happy with them. Twice now I have received phone calls from the dealership, and I was more than pleasant to the person on the other end of the phone. once to schedule an appointment and once for a private invitation to something. When I told the person on the phone, that I was not happy with the service department and I've found another dealership, the response was "oh sorry to bother you, goodbye". Neither person even seemed to care or to even try to fix an unhappy customer. Just content, with the client base no need to expand. If you are looking for good customer service, try elsewhere. read more

2010 Nissan Rogue did not open from inside or outside. Mechanic that was put on the job did not know anything about removing a door panel. They ended up breaking all the clips inside the door, the internal door handle that the rod clip onto and the outside door lock wires. After doing so, I was informed that everything needed to be replaced new. The mechanic did not even know how to reassemble the door back to the way I took it in. Nissan parts are all plastic and care needs to be taken when repairing. These individuals had no care. And they still charged me $105 for their time. read more

It has been a worst experience dealing with this dealership. Service people are very rude. The staffs in the mechanic shop don't know what they are doing. They cannot diagnose faults. All they can do is Oil Change. I have also heard they take out original parts and dump in aftermarket parts in new cars. Customer service is very poor. Beware new / used car owners. read more

The sales and business managers are there to trick customers not only with hidden fees but incorrect calculations with financing. I had gone to this Nissan branch yesterday to purchase a 2015 Altima. The sales rep that we talked to was called Alex, along with his colleague Matt. After negotiating a price on the car, we inquired about financing our purchase. He went inside to talk to his business manager and came back with the amount for biweekly payments and interest rate. It seemed a bit high and we asked how he came to these number as they did not add up to the agreed final price and interest rate. Instead of showing the breakdown, he questioned our knowledge on generic loans and made a failed attempt to explain how loans work. Eventually he didn't seem to know what he was doing so he said the business manager will explain it. After waiting 2 hours to fill out paperwork, we meet the business manager who then tells us that the final price is different from what we agreed on with Alex, and that this deal can't be made. Alex was gone home, but the business managers did not have the courtesy to call him and clarify. MAKE SURE YOU CALCULATE YOUR NUMBERS!. We could have signed for a much higher value without our knowledge if we did not check. DO NOT TRUST the sales reps or managers of this branch. Aside from the financial blunders, they don't even know what is included in their vehicle trims and try to tell customers about "upgraded features" that are already part of the trim. * * * read more
