Since I work from home, I decided it was time to have a dedicated electrical outlet installed for my office AC unit. I remembered that Foster Electric had installed an additional outlet in my kitchen back in 2022, and I was very pleased with their work then, so they were my first call. They provided a reasonable quote, and the very next day they sent Mike and Hayden to complete the installation. Mike and Hayden were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from the moment they arrived. My home office is located on the second floor, but they quickly assessed the situation, determined the best way to run the new circuit, and got right to work. The installation was completed faster than I expected, and the finished work was clean, neat, and professionally done. As an added bonus, while we were chatting before they left, I discovered that Mike and I share a love for heavy metal music--even some of the same bands! It's always nice to connect with people who not only do great work but are also genuinely friendly. I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would not hesitate to call Foster Electric again. We did a lot of research before we decided on Beyond Solar. They were one of 7 companies we got quotes from. Even after having visited many websites and gotten some quotes we were not really sure. However, after having asked them tons of questions and gotten good answers, we felt that their company was the one we felt most comfortable with. Before we made up our minds, I went to one of their clients and got a run-down on his experience and he was very pleased. They were not the lowest in terms of price, but among the best priced. However, they offered a wide range of options and customization and help that we felt very comfortable with them. We factored in price, know-how and interest to help us. The install crew was very professional and polite and even cleaned up everything after themselves and were very knowledgeable and meticulous about everything. They also brought a gas-driven power generator to keep our fridge/freezer and other things powered up while they had the mandatory down time to install the inverter. Overall, we're very happy with them and can totally recommend them for solar power installations.

The techs had to go get the part (capacitor) that most companies have on their trucks and I was billed for that. The techs had obviously stopped for fast food too. Never again.

This company replaced my upstairs unit, within the warranty period, the outdoor unit needed to be…read morereplaced. I was told not to worry that it was under warranty. This repair took 6+ hours. Within a few weeks, had to be called out again for the indoor unit and removed an improperly installed heat element ( I was informed by the serviceman that it was not installed properly). Again, was told not to worry it was under warranty. This repair took 6+ hours as well. During the install, they were not aware that they were replacing electric heat with a heat pump which required me to purchase a new thermostat so they would not have to run a wire on the outside of my home. A $600.00 thermostat. A month after both repairs I receive an invoice for 1,900.00. I called the company, who looked it over and would settle for the 900.00. This was still unacceptable. The house was placed on the market and due to the improper install of the upstairs unit repairs were 9,000.00 just so that the home could be sold. Now, in the middle of a pandemic, I am being sued for the 900.00. So, to sum it up, I have given this company 4600.00 for the indoor and outdoor unit, 600.00 for the thermostat, 9,000.00 in repairs to the home due to damage from the improper install (did not go to them, but was caused by them) and they are suing me for labor costs due to faulty and improperly installed equipment. If anyone out there does not know, these repairs should have NEVER taken this long and I should not be in this situation due to a lack of morals and ethics within this company. I am disturbed that I am required to give them one star in order to write a review. Btw, the warranty covers two hours worth of labor. Would go without heat and air before I would recommend or use this company.
