I filed a complaint with GA Clean Air (800-449-2471) and asked for the Supervisor or Owner's information. I came here in the past with a smaller car, but was in my SUV today. The set up is kinda awkward, I knew it would be a tight squeeze when I made my way through the orange cones into the testing area. The Caucasian guy (dirty red hair, long beard) was guiding me towards the wall while yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs. I told him I'm trying to not scrape the wall and he lost it even more. When he suggested I back up and drive back in, I just let him know it's ok, I'm leaving. "Good. GTFOH." Did I, the customer, just get cussed out because I trusted my own driving and wouldn't allow a seemingly angry employee make me hit a wall? My temperament is laid back and chill most time. This is my first time ever doing an emissions test and I didn't really know what I had to do, but this place was great. I didn't really notice how many places there are until I had to get one done, but the price here apparently was one of the lowest ($12.99) and it was super quick. The test probably took about 5 minutes. There were 2 cars ahead of me, but they got done really quickly, and the person doing the test was nice too. They accept Visa & Mastercards for payment. They're located inside the little shopping center at the corner of Killian Hill/Indian Trail and US-29 Lawrenceville Highway right next to a Boston Market. read more

Yeah its cheap, & conveniently at the corner of our automotive business but the employee that works there is SUPER ARROGANT and gives horrible customer service ! worst service ever! Having a conversation on his cell phone while performing services on vehicle! We asked him a question and all he would do is give attitude, a gentleman came to the service window while he was attending us & he greeted him with a "Do you need something"? Cheap. Convenient. The person working wasn't particularly friendly. She asked me to get out of the fr so she could do whatever she needed to do. I thought this was odd since I've had emissions tests before and never had to get out of the car. Anyway I got out of the car and didn't know where to stand since she didn't offer up anything. So I went into where I thought it should go absent turned out to be a mini employee lounge with the safe so she asked me to stand someplace else. Where do I begin....so we waited in line to get our emissions retested. When it was our turn my dad got out to explain the situation. Btw my dad is not fluent in English and this will be relevant to the story. I was in the car but the windows were rolled down and I was able to hear everything outside. David, the worker, mumbled to my dad that he came back to bug him. He then went to the gas cap, the reason for the retest, and just told us to go to the different location because he can't do it. He said that really fast and just went to his room. We were so lost and went to ask him what was going on. He reportedly just told us that he does not want to do it without telling us the reason and told us to go to another branch down the street before he calls on the police on us. To be exact he said, " I don't want to do it, so close the door. I am gonna call the police if you don't get out of my premises." After spending 30 mins waiting and receiving nothing but disrespect, we went down the street to a different branch. When we got there, we carefully mentioned waht happened. The worker immediately knew who I was referring to and told us that she receives complaints of him on a daily basis. All in all what I'm trying to say is that I hope no one experiences what I've experienced today. Although, the second worker was very helpful and nice, I do not plan on returing to this business unless there is something done about this. After the owner died in October 2018, this lilburn emissions location is in HELL with employee like David. Late owner family is not taking the service seriously. I did not see the sign cash only as they used to take credit card. I was in line for 30 minutes, then Davis said cash only , I went to ATM to get cash then realized I have $50. I came back and take the line and when it's my turn after 10-15 minutes, I handed him $50 he said no and show me a sign which he could have tell me before. I went to the ATM and get $20 and came back. Now he said, he can't do my emissions. He will call the police. I left and the same owner has another location on Indian trail. It was a charm there. Shame on the owner not to change David after all this complains. read more

You can't beat $13 emissions test. & total process took about 15 mins if that. My only complaint was the owner seemed annoyed/bothered. I attributed it to the heat or maybe he's had his toe rolled over by another mazda driver. Anywho check them out, it's up on a hill. read more

HORRID! I pulled in a line of about five cars. After the first two pull up and I have moved up, this woman comes out looks around the corner and yells to me "I am not taking you" I am like "excuse me?" She said "the car in front of you is the last one" and disappears back around the corner, two other cars behind me now. SO I get out of my car to look for manager, seems this woman ("Amanda" "Andrea" something with an A I was so irritated I forgot, but the owner is JAMES and will hear from me about her total lack of customer respect) I go to her little booth (it is about 11:41 AM on a Saturday) and say "I need to get my emissions done to get my tags, please take me, and I will tell anyone that comes behind me you are not taking more people" but 'ol Amanda is adament "I want my break, my stomach hurts, and I want to eat and go to the bathroom" SO I say HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE? She said "5 minutes" so I say, I am working the rest of the time and I need this done today, to which she replies "there is another emissions place right across the street, go there!" ($10 more to "go there") I said "so you won't help me" she says "Help you? I did, I told you to go across the street!" OMG!!! "Customer Service" at its WORST. SO I asked the owner's name "James" and told everyone behind me she refused to do anyone else, not because they were closing mind you, to go EAT and GO ON HER BREAK!!! I understand everyone needs their break, but the RUDENESS and UNCARING ATTITUDE she had was beyond reprehensible. So, while I have nothing against "Scenic Emissions" and I cannot rate their quality of work, as she refused to wait on me, I CAN comment on their Staff. THAT ONE. Amanda, Andrea whatever with an A. And I was car six, when I got into the line. The guy who is working doesn't care one bit, and is in no hurry to get anyone on their way. I guess that's why he gets a 3 out of 5 review. I have been getting emission here for several years. I have 2 vehicles, a '13 SUV and a '97 car. Except for the wheels, my car is all original, no performance​ mods of any kind and is not lowered(stock springs). I went to get emissions on my car today, one truck in line and one car was getting emissions testing done. The attendant walked out with a knee pad and checked under the truck in front of me for a catalytic​ converter. I had been inline for at least 5 minutes​ at that point. While I waited for the truck to finish, the attendant​ never came out to my car. After the truck was finished, he came up to my car with his knee pad, asked how I was doing, looked under my car, then asked if I can open my hood. I did, he look at my engine and then tells me he has to pass on performing​ the emission test on my car, he could not see catalytic converters, only shields. Catalytic converters do have shields on them, they are heat shields​ and you can see that there are converters under the shields. My car​ is not lowered and during the day without a flashlight they (4 total) are visible​. The attendant told me​​ to go to their other location up the street and have the test there or he can do the test on my car and fail the visual check for the cats. Was the other location going to rise my car on a lift and check for converters? I got out and looked, told him there are 4 cats visible and he said no. Clearly,​ this guy is incapable of inspecting cars for emissions. I waited over 20 minutes for him to tell me he could not test my car. If he checked my car when he checked the truck in front of me and said he could not test my car, after around 5 minutes, that would have been better than over 20 minutes. When I asked him for the companies​ number, he would not come out of his little room. The service station across the street, the guy that performed my emission was an​ automotive tech and never said a word about my cars catalytic converters and it only took around 5 minutes for him to test my car. read more
