When we arrived, the Sound Tech had everything set up and ready to roll. However, we ended up moving the dance floor to a different location, and he moved everything for us. Everett was our DJ, and he kept everyone dancing by playing the songs we'd picked out. He was accommodating by shortening songs when needed (our first dance song was really long, so he cut it when we gave the nod), and he took requests, which my dad definitely too advantage of (haha). The owner, Leasha, was great, and very interested in getting feedback on our day so they can always be improving. That's an awesome trait in a business owner. I've worked weddings for 4 years and I was very disappointed at DJ Adams' performance. He was a…read morenice guy and, at first, I thought that he may have just been having technical difficulties. The microphones were having constant feedback throughout the night, regularly going out completely. During the reception, he left the stand for a few minutes and a Christmas song came on. The crowd laughed but assumed it was a simple shuffle mistake as it was the middle of September. By Christmas song #3, we went to notify him of this embarrassing accident. He replied that someone already told him before returning to his conversation with a female staff member, making no attempt to change the song. Directly after this, he played the same song all the way through three times in a row. He played the wrong song for the Father/Daughter dance and messed up the date when announcing the bride and groom for their last dance. He also actively played songs the bride did not want (even after being made aware of this) and made no attempt to follow her request list. I have never seen a crowd openly commenting on a DJ in this way. I'm unsure if he's new, but it may be helpful to have a veteran DJ accompany him next time!

Logan at Scenic Sound Solutions was my first and only call. From the beginning, Logan was absolutely amazing and attentive to not only the traditional needs of the reception but to what we wanted specifically. Logan worked well within my budget and provided so much more than I could have asked for. He accommodated my work schedule and worked with me after traditional work hours. I never felt rushed and Logan answered every question that I had. He was attentive throughout the weeks before the reception making sure everything was what we wanted. We even had some 11th hour changes (literally the night before the wedding) to now include father/daughter dance with an obscure song and to our luck, Logan already had it in his repertoire. As for the reception itself, Logan was the absolute best! We did not have a wedding coordinator so he offered to help with the announcing of events and keeping us on schedule. Him and our photographer teamed up and make sure the reception didn't have any hiccups. Logan read the dance crowd great and kept the flow of the music going with high energy all night. We only hired Scenic Sound Solutions for the music but they offer so much more like photo booths, hair/makeup, etc. If we are in Chattanooga again to host an event.
