We always love scented but unfortunate to see they have started up charging for lemonade and milk when their advertised combinations, aside from cold foam, all used to be the same price. With everything going up in price, we understand an on total rise in price but the up charge for ordering drinks right off the menu hasn't been a great addition. Having a tea option in town is great, but the prices are now the same as ordering from any coffee shop. One of the great things about this place is that it was affordable for what you got! read more

I've been going to The Scented Leaf for years and it's one of my favorite tea spots in Tucson, which is why this interaction stood out so much. On May 20th around 2:30 PM, I went into the Broadway location to order one of the specialty drinks I've gotten before from an old Instagram post. It had been a while, so all I remembered was that it had "sicle" in the name somewhere and that it had mango tea from the tap. I explained that I thought it was either the Dreamsicle or Orangecicle. Instead of just helping me figure it out, the guy working there with dark hair and glasses immediately came off cold and dismissive. There was no greeting, just crossed arms, eye rolls, snide facial expressions, and weird comments under his breath while I was trying to explain the drink. The whole interaction felt awkward for absolutely no reason. What frustrated me most is that right after leaving, I went to the University location and had the complete opposite experience. I simply said, "I think it's something with 'sicle' in the name and it has mango tea," and the employee immediately pulled out the iPad and said, "Is it this one or this one?" It took maybe two minutes total and was completely easy and normal. That's why this interaction bothered me so much. It wasn't difficult at all, and there was no reason to make a customer feel awkward over trying to remember the exact name of a specialty drink they haven't ordered in a while. I really do love Scented Leaf overall, but this employee seriously needs to work on his customer service skills. read more

I am a big fan of Scented Leaf and had to try their new location. The shop is beautiful, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The barista was very good at recommending me the new banana matcha. Fast service and fair prices always. read more

As a tea lover, I was in HEAVEN when I walked in to the Scented Leaf Tea House! When I walked in, I was enamored with their tea on tap situation-it's absolutely incredible. There is such a variety of different types of teas in terms of flavor combos and caffination, it was almost overwhelming. The staff were quick to help me understand the menu and provide suggestions based on flavor combos I typically like. The staff made our drinks so quickly and they were soooo tasty. We were in the mood for something fruit and went with The Fruit Bomb and The Fruit Gusher-both were incredible. Prices were fair and the ambiance of the place was perfect for catching up with a friend or for a good study session. There was seating inside and outside and there were cute little shops to peruse right beside this tea house. read more

A chill place to drink tea during the summer! I'm so happy Scented Leaf opened another location with a decent size parking lot. There is an inside and outdoor area. The only thing they are missing is outdoor mist for summer. The drinks are always delicious. My favorite is the Grand Canyon Gusher but every drink I've tried has been amazing. The staff are knowledgeable about tea and can make you any drink based on what you like. Dealer's choice is always a fun way to try new drinks. read more

I got a large Strawberry Matcha ($8) and a chocolate croissant ($4) here the other day. I ordered the drink medium sweet; it was too sweet. The croissant was so-so, probably just stale and made with cheap chocolate. Service was fine. Outdoor seating was pleasant because of the beautiful weather. read more

OMG!!!!! I love it, love ,love it!!! I'm. Big fan already and now to have a new location to get my fix is amazing. The vide is open and fresh and I love all the real plants, I'm a plant guy and I'm not a fan of plastic plants. The point of sale is on point with 3 registers. Still crowded with people sitting on computers for hours which is why I usually get stuff to go from the university location. Now that I know that this here with good parking and close to other local places I like. I'm going to keep coming back again and again. read more

You've outdone yourself, Shane, this might be my favorite venue of the four! From the MCM facade to the warm/inviting ambience that has become signature to all of the SLTH establishments, this newest location has raised the bar. Note: all of the parking is in back (plenty) but you'll need to curve around Brdwy and drive most of the way back behind the row of shops to reach SLTH's entrance. There's a large (8-seat) and a medium (6-seat) shaded picnic-style table outside and then 15-18 smaller seating areas inside this semi-narrow, very long interior. That shape actually lends itself to a bit more privacy or coziness vs the other more open-seated venues (always looking at the glass half full in life :) Sam Hughs is fortunate to have this wonderful addition to their neighborhood! read more

I've been twice in the last few weeks. Initially I visited on a walking food tour where I had an excellent iced tea at the Scented Leaf on Congress. I actually didn't realize tea could taste that good. Then about a week later we were having a get together at our home and knew one of the guests didn't drink wine. I headed to the Tanque Verde location, and my server mixed up a delicious concoction and put it in a growler for transporting home. It was quite a hit! read more

I was so excited to learn about the newest location of Scented Leaf, right in my neighborhood! One of the reasons I hadn't visited any of their other locations frequently is just because they weren't this close to me. I've now been here twice in the short time since they've opened, and have tried a couple of different drinks PLUS baked goods that they bring in from other local businesses. What I really appreciate is that you can basically make whatever drink you want. Even though they have suggestions for you on the menu, you're not limited to just those. Whatever you can think up, they can do! Such a huge selection of options and a good amount of non-caffeine choices are especially appreciated. It's a great place for just hanging out, grabbing and going, or sitting to do some work. I took note of the extension cord that provides multiple outlets, which means that even though the inside is a little small, there's a good chance you will have a place to plug in whatever devices you're using for your work session. The only suggestion I would make is to have a sweater with you because the air conditioning is definitely on high during the summer months. That is true of most businesses in Tucson though, so I didn't take away any stars for it. I also love that there is outdoor seating in case you want to avoid the air conditioning! And the interior design is very clean and well-suited for concentration. They actually have comfortable seats as well, which can be hard to find in coffee and tea shops. Stopped here while in the area and looking for a remote place to work. I've been to the Tanque Verde location, but this is my first time at this newer Broadway location. It was smaller than I thought and narrow, but still provides plenty of space for multiple two top tables. There is also patio seating outside. I'm not big on tea and the menu is huge so I struggled with what to order, but ended up getting a grasshopper drink that had mint and chocolate almond milk. I ended up loving it. They also have some croissants, treats and pastries you can buy as well. I got a strawberry crumb muffin, that was good. It was absolutely FREEZING inside., I'm telling you the air was blasting so maybe bring a sweater when you visit! read more
