Talked with A lady named Heather, really nice and said they have some great options. We took a trip, ( a bit of a drive side note: realy lovely scenery! Don is the reason people despise car salesman. Bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara edition from him…read moreand my first look and test drive was in a heavy rain. After taking delivery I noticed multiple paint bubbles in many places. These were not visible because of the rain. Don never once mentioned them. I called several body shops and found out that was very common with that year because Jeep used aluminum for the doors. The cost to replace the doors was $6,000. Don shuddered at that and had "his people" look at it. They relayed they could re-spray the affected areas but eventually the bubbles would return. This problem became irrelevant because the Jeep broke down twice in two weeks. As in, dead. As in, having it towed to the garage he uses in Bridgeport. Cutting to the end of this awful experience, he ended up taking back the 2018 (which had major engine problems and was in the shop for weeks) and finding me a 2021 Wrangler Willys edition. He said it had 20,000 miles on it. When I arrived to look at it had 27,000 miles on it. It also had mud terrain tires on it which were extremely loud. I had a set of 20 inch wheels and tires I had intended on putting on in the summer, but asked if he'd have them swapped out. His response was, "why don't you just let me put leather in it (interior) and keep the wheels and tires that are on it?" 1. The 20 inch wheel and tire set were far more expensive than the leather seat covers he offered. 2. Not swapping out the tires totally defeats the purpose of why I wanted to change them. The point being is that the 20's looked extra sharp on the Sahara edition and he was trying desperately to keep them to build value on what would be a hard sell in the future. That is Don in a nutshell. Always looking to get over, take advantage, do whatever he can to spend as little as possible to fix the problem while trying to get as much money out of you as he can. Further proof: During the three week period it took to fix the situation I was given three loaner vehicles. All of them were filthy, with the last one smelling so bad I had to roll the windows down on the way home and get an air freshener in order to drive it. It took ten days to find the 2021 Wrangler and would have taken more had I not called him repeatedly to ask what was going on. For this he got angry and told me "he was working on it." Translation: He needs to find another one that is more expensive to get more money out of the deal. Which is exactly what he did. The 2021 he sold me was financed at $48,500. It wasn't until later that I realized that he had ME pay the taxes on BOTH vehicles. Keep in mind this was after I threatened to sue because it was obvious it was taking so long to find the next Jeep, to which he became enraged and blamed me for not being patient enough (?!) and told me the name of his attorney. So after questioning the high price of a three year old Jeep, he responded with "nothing holds its value more than a Jeep Wrangler" and "come back in a couple years and we'll find you something else." Then he closed his doors PERMANENTLY. Knowing the more miles I put on the 2021 the more it depreciated I reluctantly traded it in to a dealership and was ten grand upside down leaving me with the highest payment I've had and will ever have in my life. I will admit that I had bought a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Don ten years prior and after two months the entire transmission failed. He covered the cost of replacement, and that's what brought me back. He got over on me, I'll admit that. High pressure, shady vehicles, terrible response to the problems HE caused and as others have mentioned in their revues his flying into a rage when questioned or forced to work on YOUR timetable. Don is a large man and thinks he can bully and intimidate people and when that doesn't work he plays the victim while doing the absolute minimum to fix the problem. He is the definition of "shady car salesman" and I'm not surprised to see so many similar reviews. But I also believe in karma, and boy, when it comes back to him all bad things will be justified.

Don't have or won't give an "Owner's Manual", don't/won't give warranty details, inconsistent responses and incorrect technical responses, and gets "annoyed" by the multiple emails you send because they don't actually answer the questions in your email. Getting the solar switched to my accounts went pretty smoothly as well as initial conversations and questions. I am an engineer, so I like to understand how things work. In my defense I asked for an "owner's manual" that may explain the specific installation - which would have saved a ton of the conversation. I also asked why the two apps (Enphase vs Solark) shows over a 30% difference in production, which the sales person shared generic explanation several items such as line loss and conversion loss, etc. but nothing specific. The solar panels are on my roof and the "line" is like 20 feet to my basement and its not conversion lost because the Ephase app reports in AC and goes into the AC side of Solark. Most solar people I know are very in tune with their electrical production numbers, so I would think this level of discrepancy would be clearly understood. It was things like this that made me not really trust MSS. Then the leaks started happening. Leaks for 2 years in 2 different rooms, every time there was a melt. At first I thought maybe it was ice dams, but it even occurred in the winter when there was no ice build up yet. I asked if there was any warranty or what it was, but never got an answer..instead I got like 6 emails and quotes for a water leak test. Again - MSS - I only experienced leaks in the winter. Not during rain...so not sure what a water leak test would achieve. All I asked of MSS was what was their warranty (if any, since I am the 2nd owner), as I did not want to void any warranty. All I got in response was another suggestion for a $450 water test for leaks (once the weather was warm enough) - however, the leaks only happen during the winter melt and not during the summer rain. I ended up paying thousands to a different contractor to look into my leaks and even had them remove the ceiling of my room with the leaks. Ironically, the contractor happens to do work with MSS. They opened the ceiling up and found what they told me was obvious evidence that the Solar panels were causing problems. So I reached out to MSS and explained to them the "findings" and let them know that I had paid to open my ceiling up and asking if they would like to send a supervisor over to take a look. The response was really weird: No response for like 3 days, then I get an email or text saying that an appointment for a leak test has been scheduled. Again..it doesn't leak when it rains, only in the cold. then a few days later I get an email from some middle management guy. He didn't show any empathy nor did he even discuss my offer to come take a look. Instead - apparently he is a keyboard warrior and is able to do a thorough analysis and came to the conclusion that the leaking was due to pre-existing conditions because the unsecured wood blocking and rusty bolts were not "MSS standard operating procedures". This guy is the first trades person I have ever met who prefers to assess from a computer instead in person. He than questioned why I insist that MSS did an improper installation since my house rafters were 24" on center. I pointed out to him, that my rafters are actually 16" on center, and had he come and take a look, it would be pretty obvious. Also, the set diagrams that MSS drew up, shows over 17 Flashfoot2 installed not on the rafters. Again, he responded that those diagrams are merely suggestions and incorrect - which is interesting and I might have to check with my local building permit office. He stated that this will be the end of communications unless I want to pay for them to investigate...again I'm flying blind since they won't send me what the warranty is. And so I responded with a thank you and asked if I can at least get the warranty information if any...to find out I have been blocked. Finally got an email saying my warranty for installation is only 3 years and expired. I presented evidence that the contractor I paid for (who by the way actually works with MSS...lol) told me. I'm clearly not in a money grab, being that I've already paid thousands to investigate the leaks myself...because frankly even having a civil conversation with MSS is a chore. I just always like to give a company a chance to do the right thing.

They couldn't find her building, and called me 3 times for assistance. Big sign at the road, signs on doors stating which office was hers. When they finally did arrive, the pickup guy was very rude, and caused a scene with security. When they came to drop it off, they didn't even go in the building, just gave the keys and receipt to the security guard. No reason for anyone to see what we paid to have our vehicle serviced. They also didn't return our lugnut key or the spares we had. I have taken it in personally for service and collision work, and didn't have these issues.

When I arrived the manager corby told me they pulled the car out front for me, yet he let someone test drive it "he just pulled off the lot" is what I was told as soon as I got there. They begged me to wait, then he came back and bought it! I had the money for the car IN CASH!!! WHATS THE POINT OF AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE GOING TO SELL IT OUT FROM UNDER ME? I'm very upset, no I don't want to look at a different car, thanks for asking. I won't be doing business with you ever because of this experience. Edit to update they've called me 3 times telling me the car was mine just come in and talk to them and each time I returned the calls it was unanswered. Since I don't have a car right now, my husband works and my brother in law has to drive over an hour to get me to the dealership, you would think they'd answer my call. I wrote them an email and now the car has been sold. This dealership sucks lol do not do business with them!!! Tim, Corby, Lisa all of you suck for the way you've continued to screwed me over.
