A week went by and they evidently never got around to it - called ProBuild in Wheaton, had a price within an hour and ordered the doors.

Super friendly and helpful. Support small business.

Savers? More like gougers…read more.... Books were spendy and inconsistent as all get out. Saw 3 copies of the same Heathcliff book all with different price stickers on them. Spent a good hour in the store and the staff working were doing nothing, not a thing. They had BOXES of donated goods by the picture frames just begging to be put out but no, everyone was "too busy". The "sanitation" girl was at entrance playing on her phone, not even acknowledging you as you walk in and not cleaning the carts and such. They had two cashiers who looked like that wanted to work, made eye contact and said hello but were basically being "occupied" by the very loud short haired store manager who was complaining about other employees and customers so loudly that you could hear her in the back of the store. Talk about an awkward place to shop......

I think I dropped of 25+ loads of donations over the course of two weeks. We were moving out of…read morestate, and had to clear out all the old, unused; and sad to say, new and unused items. Each time I was greeted with a smile, asked how I was doing and help brining the items from the car to the drop off bins. Never a quibble. Never said, ' we don't take that.' Price as you will but not for sale rack and severely damaged goods. There was a whole rack of this grift and more. I used to love for the reasonable prices and weekly color drops. Never seen higher prices at my favorite store.....

As much as I love browsing the store, I don't feel comfortable supporting a business that sells white sage because of the cultural significance surrounding it. Having knowledge on what you are selling is key for any store, but that is especially true if you consider yourself a spiritual store.
