His staff is very friendly and the office is well organized & clean. Since it was my first visit, I had made an appointment a few days prior. However, I was told that all future visits would be on a walk-in basis (no appt required). The doctor listened well while I explained my health issues and he asked good questions. He gave me an adjustment and we discussed follow up care (ice, heat, etc). Then he sent me over to the masseuse for a ten minute therapeutic massage. Shocking--the ten minute massage was INCLUDED in the already low cost of my first appointment. Not only that, but I found a $10 off coupon on the EC website to lower the cost even more--Score! My only regret is that I didn't visit him sooner! I have been procrastinating my chiropractic care since my medical insurance lapsed last month. As it turns out, I didn't need to worry at all. Express Chiropractic is very reasonably priced and today's visit (without insurance) cost me less than my typical copays in the past. I love the idea of cutting out over-complicated insurance companies to free up both time & money to reduce costs. This more affordable patient-direct pricing and the way it encourages wellness visits vs sick care, is part of what sets this doctor apart.

This became a lesser concern once we got to know him. Ugh. My wife had an appt w/ Dr. Miller that was booked for 8am. She showed up & they said it was at 8:30am. No courtesy call/email to confirm appointments? It's 2016. Strike 1. - My wife took our kids to eat & was back by 8:35am. This doctor hates moms & does not like kids in his office. My son is 2 & yes he had a melt down in the office. This occasionally happens. But you do not degrade an embarassed mother further by rudely asking, "Is he always like that?". No. Not a sympathy expression. Straight up rude, "You should control your kids lady". Next, he told my wife that as long as she's a mom, she has no hope of being fixed. He then proceeded with a brief explanation of her problems & said he was behind now & couldn't explain it all to her. It was 8:50am. She hadn't even been seen for 20 minutes. It should have taken 2 minutess to explain results. This was the second of 2 bad appointments & his wife receptionist is always rude. Zero people skills. Example? After my wife returned home, literally in tears over the experience, I wanted to call & see if there was some way to work things out. The doctors wife answered the phone. I explained that I was the husband of the lady her husband just saw. I calmly explaind that she came home in tears because of her experience & that toddlers are difficult. I told her we have 3 wonderful children that are very well behaved, & I'm really sorry that my son had a melt down in their office - but he's 2 & she can't always control that. Being disrespectful to my wife - a PATIENT - is uncalled for. The lady then yelled, "Your wife was late & never spoke to the doctor" & hung up the phone on me. Yes, ignoring that my wife was actually early at first & no, she definitely saw the doctor. I called back. Can we have calm conversation? The lady proceeded to be rude accepting ZERO responsibility - only placing blame - so I said, "Well, then at least let me tell you how we proceed from here." Smugly she replied, "Go 'head". "I will be showering your business with horrible reviews online." NEVER GO HERE. And please check my review history. Normally, I give RAVE reviews. I understand how painful a bad review is to a business, but I also hope to help the public make healthy decisions for their families & get the proper care they need. I could recommend a number of Chiropractors throughout town, but that would be disenguine. Pretty much anyone has to be better than this guy.

After two visits to Dr. Miller I feel better than I ever have and it lasts. His exercises work, and he uses very effective techniques to include massaging tissues prior to adjustments. He always gets the adjustment unlike some chiropractors who are too embarrassed or whatever to try more than once (because sometimes as a patient we aren't relaxed or are too tense etc). If it doesn't pop into place, he does more tissue massaging until it works. He is also fully willing to keep your confidential if you're worried about work finding out.

It is the best way to find a good doctor. Then we started looking at reviews, and just like that...Cody got hurt! He is a young man, dear friend of our family, and one of our son's buddies at school. When I talked to his Mama about his injury and treatment, she recommended Dr. Michael to us. I am glad I asked, and trusted her. We saw Dr. Michael today for a mysterious shoulder injury that my Husband has. We knew after seeing Cody recover, that Dr. Michael was going to be very skilled. He took his time with us, talked to us, explained what may be causing the pain and mobility impairments. We never felt rushed or confused. After the initial interview and some primary adjustments, my Husband had improvement in his range of motion. I know every case will be different, but we were so happy to see such quick improvements after just the first visit.
