When I realized they did a peppermint/mocha in a shaken expresso. I was excited. Let me just say- that's the BEST shaken expresso I have ever had! It was Christmas in a cup! Only downfall is I live to far away to be a daily customer!

The high ceilings gave the shop a light and airy feel. This probably isn't the best place to study or work since the sounds of voices bounce off the walls. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced strawberry fields matcha latte and a blueberry muffin. I think I was accidentally given a mixed berry muffin, but it wasn't a big deal. It was still delicious. The matcha, when I received it, was also very good and I really enjoyed it. My one gripe is that it took 25 minutes to receive my drink. While waiting, I noticed that the two individuals handling the food were rock stars. They got orders out very quickly and efficiently, and I had my muffin in less than five minutes. I also noticed the number of other patrons waiting for long periods of time. People who placed orders after I did received their coffee drinks, so I was confused. When my name was finally called, I noticed that three matcha drinks were ready at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand the barista making the numerous matcha orders at the same time, but the 25-minute wait seemed quite excessive. There was a steady stream of customers, so it was busy, but not insanely busy. Again, I enjoyed everything about River Bottom Roasters except for the long wait for drinks.

Located…read morehooked onto a brewery type place that shared space to sit with a large room and a bar, Although they didn't have some of the pizzas I've seen in advertisements on hand, we were able to find a few to try. 12" pies so obv 3 for 2 people to do some taste testing makes the most sense. We also scooped an order of cheesy bread as well and a couple of waters. MARGHERITA: thin on the sauce (which is a heavy tomato paste consistency) so it looks overcooked. Flavor was good but the sauce was nearly dried on - maybe thinning the sauce so it keeps its liquidity more? Don't know. Again - a solid pie (7.2/10) RICKERONI: Cupping pepperoni, ricotta mounds, and some jalapeños . More of a traditional feel here - loved the pepperoni and the sauce. The ricotta looked cool but wasn't my favorite addition. Peppers really had a pop to them. Liked this way more (8.1/10) BIG MAC: Meat, garlic sauce, MAC sauce and pickles - I liked this a lot but I wish I would had ordered more MAC sauce on top - like these style specialty pies (7.8/10) The cheesy bread was good, the pesto very thick on top. Nice large space to sit and eat. Staff was nice and friendly at the pickup window.

He helped make our evening special and he proves that you can be a "professional " and be a waiter. Ok. We started with the crab soup. It was salty like the ocean, and very tasty with some large bits of crab. Highly recommended. We each had a house salad and they were so big that we could have shared one. We also ordered the seafood fettuccine and shared that dish. Glad we shared because it was more than one person could eat. Plenty of jumbo shrimp and scallops and the Alfredo sauce was filled with crab meat. Just yummy! We enjoyed the ambience of the dining room and I would definitely love to come back here again (and again!).

Place was very clean and restrooms were stocked and clean too. Great feel and local ambiance which was enjoyable. Ordered up a beer and looked over the menu and decided upon the French onion soup and the Chicken Chesapeake sandwich. Soup arrived in good order and I was told to be careful as it was extremely hot. However, the cheese being melted but not toasted was a sign that the soup was not hot. It was lukewarm at best, and the flavor was muted as if the onions did not have time to sufficiently caramelize or that they did not use enough base to bring out the flavor in the broth. The sandwich was a wonderful 180 degree turn from the lackluster soup. It was hot, delicious, cooked and presented very well with hot Cristy fries that were perfect in the middle when eaten. Over all the location did not disappoint, aside from the soup. It may have been an off day, who knows, but I'd certainly be back to try another sandwich or entree based upon the quality and presentation given to me at lunch.

Ordered a flight and a mixed drink.  They have beer offering, wine and spirits.  What caught my eye was their flight of Scotch 4 1/2 oz pours for only $14.  WINNING!!!! The Beer: Bunches honey granola cream Ale 5.5% ABV... smooth and crushable! Belgian Dubbel w/ cherry plum & raisins 7.1% ABV... I wasn't expecting the high amount of acidity for this Belgian dubbel. It was a burst of flavor which punched me right in the taste buds.  In a good way. Coattails Double IPA 7.9% ABV...  well balanced IPA, a little citrus, a little hops, slightly sweet and nothing overwhelming. FIRE! French Toast Nightman barrel aged Imperial Stout 10% ABV... dark chocolate and coconut is all I got.  It was semi sweet and tasted a little of extract. Aged 14 months, respectfully throw that back in the barrel and pull it out in a few years. Or bottle it and forget about it for a long while. Dark Passenger cherry vanilla Porter 7.6%  ABV... this one kicked before I could try it.  Maybe next time. The service was fantastic.  The beer was great.  And, I felt totally comfortable in this atmosphere.  Like that t-shirt that is super comfortable, but you can't throw away because it is so very comfortable.  Or your favorite reclining chair.  Suffice to say, I wish I could pack Homaide Brewing in my carry on and take is with me on my flight back to to Florida.
