We had been looking for a good place to stop while traveling through MD and Interchange looked fun, so we decided to come here for lunch. The decor inside is very fun and it does feel like a tiki atmosphere, so they did a good job. We got a flight of their beers and a cocktail and the drinks were bright and tasty and we enjoyed them. We were excited to try the food as well and we got an order of dumplings, a burger topped with crab, and crab fried rice. The food was unfortunately extremely salty and it was to the point where we couldn't finish our meal. It's a shame since the flavors were interesting, but the food is just too salty. Interchange makes good drinks and it can be even better if they improve the food a bit.

What a crazy bar! This place has quite a menu of different options and we had the sampler of 12 or so beer that was quite memorable. Surprisingly, all of the sours and the DIPAs were great! We came during trivia night and even indulged in a poke hot dog -- something very interesting and unique, though I thought the bun was a bit extra. But the wings were pretty solid and if you're into hot sauces -- they have their own as well! Overall, I would definitely return for the unique beer and try my hand at the handful or so that we did not order.

Fun spot! This place is located in an area I am not too familiar with so not sure what else is really around. Anyways, we had a group of 8 and they have plenty of tables both indoors and out back. The back area is definitely more of the tiki vibe and has a hut, tiki vibrant colors and a grassy background for photos. The service was ok. The bartender out back was friendly and very personable. The waitress on the other hand was slightly short and seemed very frazzled. Since we ordered similar items but our food came out at different times, we asked what the food item was. She replied, "I don't know" and just dropped it off. Not sure if she was suppose to be working a different position (e.g. hostess) and she genuinely did not know but I definitely would not wish this kind of service on anyone. The staff indoors at the bar were friendly and prompt as well. The food overall was pretty good considering. The spam masubi was a bit on the drier side though and tasted like it had been made earlier in the day and sat out. Other than that we got a variety of items for the table and everything else was well done. The burger and nachos were tasty! The nachos in particular was nice because the chips tasted like they were fried in house so it held the toppings very well!

Very cool place to get drinks and food. The interior and outdoor seating area is very well decorated and has a super fun vibe. The tiki theme also translates to the food which is delicious. The s'mores espresso martini was very good and probably the best espresso martini I've had.

Saw on FB it's the one year anniversary of High Thai'd which is the food truck/kitchen associated with the brewery. We'd been meaning to try it here so anniversary specials were a perfect excuse. We got the crab Rangoon nachos, Thai chicken chili dumplings, and fried rice. Hubs got the 5 Star Lager and I got the Dreamsicle Crush draft cocktail. Both were very good. You order your food and drink inside at the bar. The food is prepared in the food truck sitting outside and brought into you as it's ready. Everything came super quick and was all unique and good. The crab Rangoon nachos were good, but not my favorite so I don't think I'd get those again. The dumplings and fried rice however, were delicious! We definitely will be back because there's a lot of their menu I want to try! The burgers look epic!

TLDR: Hidden gem of a tiki bar/brewery. Come for the tropical cocktails and Hawaiian themed eats. Vibe: 5/5. Located in a nondescript business park, Interchange has both inside seating and a fun tiki bar back patio. The space is on the large side, so large groups are more than welcome. The entire brewery is tiki themed, complete with a tiki bar style hut on the back patio as well as the bar inside. They are also a stones throw away from Cushwa Brewing, so you could make an afternoon out of brewery crawling in the business park. Service: 5/5. The staff at Interchange were fantastic from start to finish. We ordered drinks from both the outside and inside bar and everyone was extremely helpful in explaining their menu and providing prompt service. We also ordered food, which came out very quickly from the kitchen. Couldn't have asked for a better experience from a service perspective. Beer/Food: 5/5. The whole Hawaiian theme that Interchange embraces also can be seen in the food and beer they offer. All the food is Hawaiian in nature, so think poke and spam musubi. On the beer front, they have a range of interesting sours that utilize a lot of fruits and tropical ingredients to remind you that you are drinking in a Hawaiian themed brewery. They also offer a large selection of tropical cocktails ranging from your classic Pina coladas to some local favorites such as the Dirty Banana (OCMD Seacrets favorite). On our trip, we tried several items from both their food and drink offerings. The highlights of the day were the tuna nachos, which had large chunks of ahi tuna on top of freshly fried wonton nachos with a spicy Sriracha drizzle. The kahuna burger also hit the spot, using a 1/3 lb burger with bacon, a pineapple based chutney on a brioche bun. On the drink front, the Miami Vice slushi was a hit , which is a mix of a strawberry daiquiri and a Pina colada. As advertised by the bartenders, their rendition of the dirty banana, which they call the dirty monkey, is a clone of the infamous OCMD Seacrets drink. Overall, I highly recommend all the offerings at Interchange, you simply can't go wrong!

The food truck that provides the food here is phenomenal. Sat outside tonight and had live music. The Tuna poke rivals what we had in Hatteras Islan on vacation.

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

I've been here a few times and tried several different things. All average or basic. Nothing wow. I think people come here for the drinks and vibes. Which is fair. Cool ambience. Music, dim lighting, comfortable booths and plenty of parking. Hard pass for me. Prices are a bit high given the portions and quality. But whatever. Don't take my word for it, give them a try for yourself. I've had enough. Unlike their dishes, I'm not salty, just won't be back
