As mentioned, looking for this place, as per the entrance can be a trick, as it is a one way street your rolling down. Cop car here, cop car there, cop car everywhere, then you see the big drive in that says 'Claims'. As like every ICBC place, you roll your car up, the window opens, they open the gates and tell you which stall to roll your ride up to. I am an insurance guy, so coming into an insurance claims centre, talking insurance lingo is normal speech. I have never had a problem with the adjusters working here, actually all of them have been really pleasant to deal with. I came in here, as with the snow, someone 'kissed' my bumper, and I did not know if there was any damage. The people here are very thorough in going through things, even if it looks like nothing. The level of care and showing me every little thing that was not part of the intial claim was nice to know. Even though it took some of my day, as in time, and I would rather not come, cause if you do, obviously it's related to your car, this is the claims centre that I would come to. The people make you understand the damage that has happened, and they have a nice big waiting area with enough water, coffee, and newspapers to pass the time.

We were told by the very young lady at the desk that this would take an hour and as they had several people already waiting they couldn't do it that day. Now, my father spent 25 years owning and operating an ICBC brokerage agency plus we've done this 20 times or more. I told her it took 20 minutes if you know how to do it and explained exactly what needed to be done. She clearly was lost but still wanted to get us out of there. She started making other excuses as to why they couldn't do it that day but we just said goodbye. We went down the street where a very competent lady had our transfer plus a storage policy done in 11 minutes! We've done business here before and the service has been sometimes good and sometimes only fair. Now they seem intent on making sure they're locking the doors at one minute to closing. As BCAA members we expected better. EDIT: Well believe it or not we gave them another chance! Tried doing the same transfer recently. We knew we were in trouble when despite the fact that there were 4 employees and only one other customer in the office, we had to wait 10 minutes before someone was "available" to help us. He was very nice but seemed to have trouble even understanding what we wanted done. Once he did understand it took 40 minutes for him to do it and he had to call someone to help him three times. 50 minutes in total? We won't be back.
