They require reservations (and were full) but managed to squeeze us in. So glad they did! The manager was super friendly and the house and staff were of an older period, like a rustic old Inn for weary travelers. DH had the special pork shoulder and dumplings. The meat fell off the bone and was super juicy and tender. Potato and bread dumplings stick to the ribs and soak up the delicious sauces. My pork snitzel was excellent. Pounded flat, battered and baked it was tasty and tender. The super generous portion of crispy fries made me feel at home having chicken fried pork! Perfectly satisfying meal to finally eat 'off the boat' on a chilly day.

Austrian-Bavarian type fare, but light and day per fresh. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and great for groups big and small. The service was fantastic. Super family friendly. It was not busy when we arrived just before noon, but it became packed. As a result, the service was slow, but the food was excellent. We had the Pork lo n with mushroom sauce and spaetzle with a lovely cheesey sauce. My it was good. I highly recommend.
