For example, if you need a crown, they make it in house and on the spot for a perfect fit, with their slick state-of-the-art computerized crown-making machine. No waiting for weeks with a temp crown that never quite fits right. Plus everyone there treats you like your a VIP! The only complaint I have (since I'm crossing the river from MN to get there), is the copius amounts of green and yellow clothing that people always seem to be wearing, often with a "G" or the no. "12" prominently emblazoned thereon. Why otherwise nice and fine people would ruin their clothing in this manner, I do not know!

I'm really impressed with Personal Care Dentistry after being a patient at Park Dental for years. The hygienists are lovely people (shout out to Brianne, if I remember her name correctly, she's amazing), and mostly good communicators. I had to get my permanent retainer removed, and they offered a much more reasonable price for the work, including replacing it with a better version. They recently made huge renovations to their clinic (thanks to building equipment malfunction on an upper level), so it's very new and clean. They do charge extra for credit cards, which can be a lot when the bill is so large (as it often is with the lack of dental insurance coverage. They do offer 5% off when your insurance doesn't cover the expense). Parking: free in a parking lot

I called at about 9am on 01/18/2021. I explained my situation, and described the pain I was in…read more Tina (and the other two ladies at front desk) were amazing! They got me in at 11:30am that same day with Dr. Marek. Dr. Marek was so great, and made sure I understood everything that was happening, and gave me many options involving different scenarios. After my exam, I needed another appointment right away, but I wouldn't be able to be seen until Feb-March. However, Dr. Marek had picked up working that next day, and was able to squeeze me in! She's also now taking me on as a future patient, and helped me create a plan moving forward. Which she'll probably regret after how difficult and nervous I was today. Haha. But seriously, such a kind woman! Tina at the front desk was also so kind, called around looking for openings for me (which she definitely didn't have to do), did extra math to help me budget and understand my insurance and what I'd have to cover. Dr. Marek's Nurses were also great! Kept me distracted with conversation, kept reassuring me that I wasn't being a big baby (even though I totally was) and helped me remember how to breathe, haha! He…read moreseemed competent although he and his hygienist had an odd habit of bickering with each other while they worked. Then I had to get a crown. It never fit right, and after a year and two or three adjustments he agreed to replace it. The process of removing the old crown was brutal. He pounded on my tooth hard enough that I began to wonder if he was angry about having to redo it without compensation. The pain was enough to bring me to tears, something that had never happened to me at the dentist. After that I decided to go elsewhere. Fast forward 4-5 years. The replacement crown--which never did feel quite natural-- failed so I had to have it replaced, this time by a different dentist. I was amazed that the process of removing the old crown took very little time and was not a traumatic experience at all. I know people who go to Dr. Copeland and are satisfied, but I would not go back.

Dr Copeland is engaging and very personable which means he always ask you a question when you cant answer because his hands are in your mouth. He knows everyone he sees by their first name and not because he looked it up. That is a sign of caring to me. As a dentist he is talented. When my mom needed a new implant or bridge and she didnt want to pay all that money for that he made her a "temporary" that is still there 6 years later. A pleasant dental experience which seems like an oxymoron since noone really likes going to the dentist. The yelp category says oral surgeon but I think it should be general dentistry
