Coming from the southern USA I had my doubts but ordered the spare ribs, friend got a steak, other friend got the 24 hour beef which I think translates better to Prime rib roast. All were done quite well! Ribs were a very good, more of a St. Louis style wet rib, sauce on the sweeter side, but fall off the bones tender. Steak was cooked to a proper rare and not over seasoned. Meat quality was excellent! The manhattan was good (Bulliet bourbon is the top shelf). Beer selection is the usual German varieties Weiss wheat or dunkle. They do have a nice gin selection. The dishes for brunch have super big portions for a correct price. The croissant are nice ( for a French person that's important!). The waitresses were friendly but we had to wait some time before getting served. I often go there just for a drink and that is a good place to stay after work, watching skaters or just relaxing under the trees with a good mojito.

I got the burger and it was amazing (i'm American so I know a good burger). The salsa was the best salsa I've had in Bremen (I've been on a hunt for good salsa). My bf ordered medium, whereas I prefer medium+ but really really only a little 'plus'. My steak however was WAAAY too well-done compared to the medium of my bf. I've never had ice cream in coffee before but it worked okay. I ordered the curry vegetables and wasn't surprised that it spicy at all. Germans are exceptional at many things except spicy foods. The only hot sauce they had was Tabasco, which was disappointing in american and even more so overseas.
