I needed a mailbox installed and had tried for 3 months to schedule various handyman recommended by neighbors. I finally took things into my own hands and searched for a reputable and highly rated handyman on Yelp. There were several options to choose from, but I was immediately drawn to Brian's business because it is locally owned and operated by him. Plus, I really liked his bio. I could tell he was someone who enjoyed his work and was focused on high quality outcomes for customer projects. Brian did not disappoint. Every step of the process was a good one. My first point of contact was through Yelp messaging. That's when I first knew I was on the right track because Brian promptly replied. Moreover, his communication skills were excellent from the get-go. He was able to fit me into his schedule a few days after my request. He arrived on time prepared with what he needed to do the job. Everything went smoothly, especially because Brian and I had reviewed the installation instructions through photos I attached to our Yelp messages. He was able to acquire the remaining needed materials that I did not have on hand. Brian clearly knew what he was doing and got the mailbox installed without any problems. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. Indeed, they worked diligently and cleaned up each time they visited. The first round of work, both of them came; the second and third times, just Onya came to and she was super friendly and worked quietly while I worked in the office. I didn't paint the repairs immediately because of a lack of time, but once I did, I was disappointed with how the work turned out. I contacted Yevhenii again and sent him pictures. Communication was great and he came out to look and offered to either refund the money paid and for someone else to do the work or he (and his wife) would try again. I allowed them to come back and Onya worked for hours to redo most of the work. Again, carefully, quietly, and working with my schedule. Yevhenii came to check on things and also wanted to do some of the painting to see how the repairs looked. One area in one of the bathrooms looks pretty good but the kitchen and the other bathroom looks terrible, as evidenced by the pictures. I recontacted Yevhenii and he offered a $200 refund which I accepted. There was the original price of the job and, in consideration of the friendliness that the couple offered and the six visits they made, I felt was worth a $100 tip. In the end, I had drywall dust to clean up throughout the condo on multiple days and the results look amateurish. I'm still not sure why this is so hard to do and do reasonably well. I'm not looking for taj mahal-lile work but the pictures, I think, speak for themselves. I'm sure Yevhenii does great work, as evidenced by other positive reviews and pictures, but this project was a fail.

And a few days after her step-dad passed away, she definitely didn't need him meeting her, getting her drunk and getting a motel room staying out all night. It's where he left his sweater. (All this happened over labor day weekend) Which is how I caught them because after 27 years of marriage she has never been anywhere away from me overnight. You played on her emotions and her vulnerability and took advantage of her. Now I'm not sure if he's done this in the past, if you hired him you might want to check your wife's texts; but as a husband I have to warn other possible husbands that this happened to me, so they can make a better decision about who they hire as a contractor.
