About 20 yrs. ago I purchased a leather couch with 2 matching chairs; the best quality along with comfort! I had to sell everything after moving into a senior living facility. She quickly figured out our style (tired of grey! nothing poofy!) and before my husband and I knew it, she was moving furniture around and showing us interesting combinations that fit our unique vibe. My favorite purchase from our big shopping day is a beautiful classic leather chair; my husband's is the gorgeous leather sofa and ottoman. Bought my couch from them a couple years ago from Sue and assured me multiple times it's real leather and would never peel and is all included in my warranty plan but now it's peeling and when I tried to get it replaced, saying it's not apart of my plan at all and they can't do anything about it even though my warrant plan hasn't expired yet. They have no shame to lie to get what they want and so you can buy from them and no longer care about you after you purchase from them. Care services are no better either when I called them for months and were just passing us along with to people who couldn't care less. Something similar happened to my king size bed frame when it broke and they refused to fix it then as well even though their bed frame was the one that broke for no reason. Spent thousands on them and hope no one ever goes to them. Worst and cheapest people I've ever encountered. read more

I ordered a Natuzzi loveseat and Ottoman December 31 2020. The ottoman arrived in May and they were able to get it to me 2 days after it arrived into the warehouse. Now my loveseat came in and the first day they can deliver it is July 14,2021. I'm so upset because all I hear are excuses of why they can't deliver within 1-3 business days. F I WERE YOU ID GO TO HOME FURNITURE RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD WAY BETTER SERVICE AND SO POLITE!! :) My family and I are moving from Downtown Chicago to Duluth MN planning on buying at least three new beds for our new apartment. We're new to the area so just stopped by the first furniture place we thought was fitting; however within MINUTES of our arrival we went back to the bed section and as anyone would we laid on the beds to see our comfort level. Immediately a worker Donna came back and just stared at us so being polite we asked if we were allowed to be back there... She said quickly answered us yes but just sat on a bed and stared at us making us feel very uncomfortable while picking out our mattress. Then she left and we continued to look. Shortly after, I found a mattress I very much liked and was possibly going to buy so I called my mom over to look at all the different settings and try them out before we purchased it. Right away another employee came over and told us to get off the bed and to put it back to its original setting. We were very chocked at her attitude and how she treated customers because we were in no way being disruptive or ruining any mattresses. We were looking to buy 3 new mattresses in fact. We then tried to let another employee know our trouble but she went along treating us all like we were kids just playing around. We went into Scheiderman's Furniture with the intention of buying THREE mattresses but within 30 minutes we ended up leaving empty handed and mistreated. Full Layout Leather Power Recliner was delivered in April 2016. Less than 3 years later the leather started cracking and peeling. Our family pooled money together to invest in a nice, functional leather recliner that met our disabled father's needs. Our father is a stroke survivor, surviving a massive ischemic stroke in 2012. We chose leather upholstery so it would be easier for him to scoot forward to the edge, in preparation to stand up ... as well as making all positioning easier. We chose an electric recliner so he could easily recline to comfortable positions. Our salesperson urged us to buy Exactly Care 5 Year Protection Plan for $99. The coverage of the plan is very deceptive and useless. We went around in circles with Schneiderman's Customer Service. They do not have parts to make a repair nor will they replace our father's chair. I expected a lot more from this "high-quality" furniture store. read more

We made the mistake of buying some furniture from this store. first, they make you think they have the furniture until you buy, and then they start telling you , we have some pieces of the set you want, and have to wait weeks before they deliver the rest. so finally the whole set was delivered. it took them another month for a coffee table and two side tables to be delivered. and when we called enquiring about the coffee table, the lady in the office didnt know, and asked to call me back to let me know when the delivery going to be. I had this message left on my voice mail by a manager saying, they are sorry , that the factory just informed them, it is going to be another month before the side tablets can be delivered, and they offered to have us use their show room side tables until we get our order, really? The way the manager talked as if they are doing us a favor, and we should either accept what they offer us or just wait another month for 2 small pieces of furniture , is just unacceptable It seems thats their standard even in minneapolis stores, and I have read several reviews which mirrors what I am writing here. Poor customer service, unreliable, dishonest. They never bothered to call us let us know of this delay, had I not call to enquire when is the delivery going to be. what a poor customer service, and not that they are extremely busy, as evidenced by empty parking lots on several trips we made to the store after we purchased the furniture Truth be told, this was the first time we bought from Schnierman's furniture in Duluth, and will be the last time for sure, and we will make sure we will tell our close friends about this experience with Scheiderman's . I wont recommend this place, even if it were the last place in the country for furniture. if i were allowed to give no stars at all for this review, I would have not given them any star read more

He asked that I send him the photos of the damage and we came to a very wonderful resolution regarding the table scratches. I am so impressed and thankful to them for helping us. Was going in to buy a table set and a lady, jenny, was very impolite as she stared at us the entire time and then proceeded to finally ask us what we were looking for. She ended up basically kicking us out, as we weren't happy with the selection on display. As we were leaving I said "thank you and have a nice day", as one normally would, they replied back with "You bet!" Not the best service. Very passive aggressive. read more

We went to the store yesterday hoping to buy some furniture. The sales clerk couldn't be bothered to listen, was demeaning, dismissive, and suggested Pier 1. Guess he didn't want the sale. We had been happy with our prior visit and purchases. Two other employees stood by while he clearly treated us as if we shouldn't bother being there. read more

She came to our house and gave us ideas for living room furniture and was so helpful picking out samples at the store.
